A hint of a smile tugged at the corner of Su Jinyan's lips. "Miss Yue Shi."

"My Shizun is here. Should I introduce her to you?"

Ah, so Fu Xuan is your unwavering reliance? But today, I'm going to make one thing clear:

Fu Xuan is but an ant, effortlessly disposable. Watch closely, Su Jinyan.

With a disdainful gaze, Phantylia was about to act when suddenly, his breath hitched, and his expression froze.

How did he arrive as well?!

Following Phantylia's line of sight, one could see a striking young man approaching from nearby, with his white hair neatly tied in a high ponytail.

He was one of Luofu's High-Cloud Quintet, The Divine Foresight—Jing Yuan!

"Ah, feeling a bit drowsy—" Jing Yuan's golden eyes narrowed slightly, turning towards Phantylia's location.

"Hey there, Minister Su and Miss Tingyun! What brings you here?" Jing Yuan exclaimed. "What a coincidence—Fu Xuan is here too."

Yanqing eagerly waved his hand. "General, don't forget me—I'm here as well!"

Jing Yuan looked puzzled. "Why did you sneak out too?"

"You're awfully late, General," Fu Xuan chided with disdain.

"My old bones tire easily; naturally, my pace slows down," Jing Yuan replied cheerfully. "Fu Xuan should be more understanding."

Su Jinyan beckoned them over, seemingly expressing mild reproach. "Why have you both arrived so late?"

"I've been telling you, The Eternal Night Marquis gives away free eggs here. If we come any later, they'll all be snatched up."

"And speaking of which," Su Jinyan continued, "where are the judges from the Ten-Lords Commission? When will they arrive?"

"What about Yaoqing's general? Considering the time, shouldn't they be close by now?"

Fu Xuan blinked in confusion.

Jing Yuan echoed the same perplexed expression.

Phantylia stared, utterly bewildered.

Taking Phantylia's hand affectionately, Su Jinyan said, "Miss Yue Shi, can you see how many friends I have? Once everyone gathers, I'll introduce you to all of them."

Phantylia's expression froze, her tone becoming hurried. "My apologies, but I suddenly recalled an urgent matter at home."

"Su-gongzi, please excuse me for today."

However, like a rogue, Su Jinyan clung to Phantylia's sleeve. "Don't leave yet, Miss Yue Shi," he pleaded.

"Weren't you saying you needed a guide? How about this—let me show you around, and you can be my guide?"

Jing Yuan narrowed his eyes, voice icy. "Friend, pray stay your steps."

Phantylia's lovely gaze sharpened, and in an instant, she vanished before Su Jinyan.

Regardless of whether Su Jinyan spoke truth or not, Phantylia dared not linger any longer. She simply couldn't afford to take risks—not until she obtained the coveted body she had long yearned for. Absolutely under no circumstances could she confront Jing Yuan here.

Fu Xuan was momentarily taken aback; before she could scrutinize that fellow's origins with her mystical sight, they had already slipped away?

[Here comes your faction quest, Fool.]

[Elation Faction Quest triggered.]

[Quest Description: You are a great benefactor, ready to assist an emotionally detached young woman. Your task is to help her rediscover genuine human emotions, allowing her to experience a rollercoaster of feelings.]

[Quest Requirements: 1) The young woman must initially display emotional detachment ]

[2. Prior to this, you have never met face-to-face.]

[3. The emotional trajectory of the maiden towards you: From strangers → indifference → suspicion → disdain → unwavering belief → self-doubt → guilt → astonishment → collapse of beliefs → wholehearted acceptance]

[4. Cheating is prohibited; Aha reserves the right for final interpretation.]

[5. Time limit: three days.]

[Task Reward 1: High-tier Specialty [Silent Casting].]

Cast spells without any gestures or incantations, ensuring no one can detect traces of your spellcasting.

[Task Reward 2: Elation Fate Path Energy fully replenished, allowing you to retain basic priest skills while transitioning to "Trickster" class.]

[Note: Please don't misunderstand, this task has absolutely nothing to do with Aha whatsoever.]

Su Jinyan felt a dull ache forming in his head.

Wait, complete such a daunting task within just three days?

He strongly suspected that Aha might be pranking him—if he succeeded, Aha would find amusement in it. But if he failed, he'd miss out on a crucial opportunity to change classes.

In either case, Aha would undoubtedly still derive enjoyment from the situation.

[Come on, seriously? This is an Elation faction quest, so naturally, it's all about having fun!]

[Fool, since you've already stepped into the whirlpool, let's stir things up and make waves.]

[Bestow a touch of elation upon Xianzhou Luofu.]

Fu Xuan approached steadily. "A-Yan, are you alright?"

Su Jinyan sighed. "I'm fine; I may have pushed her too far just now."

"If you two had arrived any later, you'd only find Tingyun and me lying dead here."

Yanqing's expression turned serious, yet he brimmed with eagerness to engage. "Teacher, who is that person?"

"Since when did such a figure appear in Luofu?"

Phantylia's first impression on Yanqing was overwhelming strength—extremely powerful, unlike any adversary he had ever encountered.

His second thought was: With your prowess, dare you take my sword?

Su Jinyan slowly shook his head. "How would I know? She merely told me her name is Yue Shi."

Tingyun let out a relieved sigh, clutching her racing heart. "This humble maiden nearly thought it was the end today."

"I had even prepared to perish alongside our Benefactor."

"But unexpectedly, our dear Benefactor summoned both General Yanqing and Lady Fu Xuan."

Fu Xuan shot Tingyun a disapproving glance. "Perish alongside whom?"

"This venerable one has already stated—it's not yet time for your tribulation," she added sternly.

"Tingyun, what you've witnessed today should be clear enough," Fu Xuan continued. "Continuing to stay by his side will only bring danger upon yourself."

Tingyun lifted her charming face, her beautiful eyes filled with warmth. "Does our Benefactor mind having this humble maiden accompany him?"

Su Jinyan replied, "I don't mind."

Fu Xuan angrily swept her sleeves aside with a huff. "Hmph, you two will be the death of me, sooner or later."

Jing Yuan's voice deepened gravely. "You should thank Lady Fu Xuan; she informed me that your life might be at risk. That's why I set aside my duties and rushed here immediately."

Touched by this revelation, Su Jinyan expressed his gratitude, "Shizun truly cares for me so much."

Fu Xuan turned away, dismissing him. "Don't misunderstand—it was merely coincidence. Coincidence that I happened to see your message, nothing more." She added sternly, "Next time, avoid provoking such formidable enemies to prevent putting yourself in danger."

The reason Su Jinyan felt secure enough to shamelessly humiliate Yue Shi was because he had preemptively called for backup.

The character "jin" (谨) in his name indeed stood for caution.

Guided by the narrative's cues, he inadvertently unraveled Yue Shi's illusionary trap. When Yue Shi approached him, Su Jinyan couldn't discern whether they were friend or foe, nor could he predict if Yue Shi, driven by humiliation, would recklessly attack.

If it were just himself, it wouldn't have mattered; worst-case scenario, he could simply flee. But Tingyun was present too, and he couldn't risk gambling with Tingyun's life. Thus, he resolutely sent Fu Xuan a message: [At The Eternal Night Marquis, in grave danger—urgent rescue needed.]

The journey from the Grand Diviner's residence to the Central Starskiff Haven was not congested.
