Giving a clear warning that it was best not to mess with me i started to slowing moving inside the cave

A black haired girl dressed in rags and quiet pale not older that myself was looking fearfull at the point of my spear and started talking realy fast them sudently stop and gave me a angry look.

"Hey you just a kid, how dare you threat me? I was just lost you idiot who do you think you are?"

"Im the kid with the spear and this is my home your invading and even lost people dont talk to outcasts like myself"

"You an outcast? But you just a kid? What did you do? Did you kill someone? With that shity atitude Im sure you did, and you talking to, thats a crime"

Calming myself seeing i was in no danger and the brat was looking quiet pityfull i move my spear from her neck.

" Who are you? Why you here messing with my loot? Stealing from a outcast is still a crime you know? "

We just stayed there looking at each other for a while until i and most likely all of Mother's Embrace heard her stomach rumble like a nuclear explosion.

" Sit " i pointed to the fire.

" You... You... You going to cook me like a wild boar? Please dont, i will leave dont roast me i taste terrible, Im sorry Im sorry"

" No you idiot, just sit by the fire and stand still, you to thin for me to cook anyway"

She went to my small fire and did sit while looking at my meat like a hungry wolf she was salivating so much it almost made a pool and put out the fire.

I put my spear near the wall of the cave and took out the fox and rabit i had hunted early on and started working on skinning them while she was just watching not saying anything the all time i worked, i cut the meat in small pieces and made a few skrewers puting them on top of the campfire and rosting them.

" Im Albedo " She finaly spoke and broke the silence.

" Im Noir." I told her while handing her some berries while we waited for me meat.

" Im sorry to intrude, its just... Its been a very long time i talked to someone "

I just keep silent and let her continue, by the looks of her raged cloths and pale face she sure had some troubles.

After eating the berries like a animal she spoke again in a very low and sad voice.

" They took everything from me, my parents, my home, my friends, we were not even Braves just gatheres, i have been wallking for days now, runing from machines and... Them... "

Ah... The Red Raids... A brutal invasion by the mad King of the Carja to all neighbor tribes to gather slaves and "tribute" so the machines could kill them in a arena and be apeased.

"..." I wanted to say something but what can i say? Im sorry? Yeah let's go with that.

" Im sorry" i say to her in the most suporting way i could.

She looked at me in the eyes and the dam broke free, it was probably the first time she heard it so tears started to come out and sobs could be heard. And i just let her cry, nothing more i could say would relive her of the pain she was in now.

After a few minutes of crying her lungs out she finaly stoped and i gave her the meat witch she gladly took and keep devouring until it was nothing left but the wood skrewer.

" Its ok, Im the best hunter around, just next time try knoc on the door"

" Ahahahah " i just started laughing like a mad hyena for a full minute.

She just turns her head to the fire not meeting my eyes. But i can see she is more relaxed now.

" Ok, Im going to sleep,Im tired and i have machines to hunt tomorrow so dont make much noise and dont rob anything ok?"

" Sure, Thank you again for everything and dont worry i will leave in the morning"
