How Kurama Leads Naruto Astray

Nadare Rouga had always looked down on Konohagakure, especially since he had once defeated the elite ninja, Hatake Kakashi. 

At that time, he and Kakashi were of similar age, and Kakashi had been sent to the Land of Snow by the former Daimyo of the Land of Snow, the father of Kazahana Doto, to rescue her. 

At that moment, Kakashi had no way to fight back against his attacks and had to escape in a sorry state with only one Sharingan eye. 

After that, Kakashi became famous in the ninja world, earning the title of "Copy Ninja Kakashi," while Nadare Rouga was stuck being a jonin in the small and remote Land of Snow. He was loyal to Kazahana Doto but disliked the Land of Snow. 

He felt that his strength surpassed Kakashi's, that he had the power to make Kakashi flee, yet he had to watch Kakashi become famous while he remained stuck in a small country. 

And now, he saw a boy with the same eyes as Kakashi, and he could feel that he might lose to this boy? 

This fueled his jealousy toward Kakashi to an extreme level. 

How could he not be furious? How could he not be angry? 

As the two white ice dragons took shape, two blizzards mixed with murderous intent rushed toward Sasuke. 

From a distance, Naruto silently watched the scene, recalling Kurama's words from earlier, a hint of worry on his face. "Kurama, if what you said is true and Nadare Rouga really has the power to defeat Kakashi-sensei, doesn't that make Sasuke really dangerous?" 

Although Kakashi, like Jiraiya, wasn't reliable at times, both Naruto and Sasuke knew that they were no match for Kakashi at this moment. 

Unless Naruto could fully unleash the power of the Nine-Tails, or Sasuke could master the Mangekyō Sharingan, as Kurama suggested, the two of them together wouldn't be able to defeat Kakashi. 

Despite being shocked by Kurama's evaluation of Kakashi, they trusted Kurama's judgment. 

If that's the case, then Sasuke facing an opponent who can defeat Kakashi is really dangerous, right? 

Kurama, hearing Naruto's words, chuckled coldly from within the sealing space. "Did you never think about why that guy was able to drive Kakashi back?" 

"Isn't it because his strength is greater than Kakashi's?" Naruto asked, somewhat confused. 

"Of course not," Kurama explained. 

"Kakashi and you two are different... no, it's more accurate to say that you two are unlike normal ninjas. A normal ninja would always choose the easiest way to complete a mission, 

and they would do everything they can to avoid unnecessary battles."

"Kakashi is an elite ninja, an elite among elites. The mission he took on was to rescue Kazahana Koyuki from the Land of Snow, not to help the Land of Snow quell the rebellion. So, Kakashi decided to infiltrate alone and, under everyone's eyes, took Kazahana Koyuki out of the Land of Snow safely."

"And not only did Kazahana Koyuki come out without a scratch, but Kakashi himself wasn't injured either. Apart from using up a lot of chakra, that mission was completed perfectly."

Kurama smirked with a hint of sarcasm. "Because of that, Nadare Rouga thought he had chased Kakashi away in defeat, but the truth is, Kakashi didn't get hurt at all. On his way out of the Land of Snow, he even took down a few Snow Ninjas."

Naruto's face showed surprise, clearly shocked. "Kakashi-sensei really did such a dangerous mission?"

"That guy has done more A-rank missions than you've done D-rank missions. You want to talk?" Kurama lay down and looked at Naruto. "When Kakashi did that mission, he wasn't even twenty years old. What do you think you are compared to him?"

Kurama wasn't just praising Kakashi; Kakashi really was impressive.

He set the record for the fastest promotion to Jonin—at just twelve years old. Do you know what that means?

In the original Naruto, at twelve, Naruto had just graduated from the Konoha Ninja Academy, knowing only the Transformation Jutsu and Shadow Clone Jutsu. Sasuke knew a couple of Fire Release jutsu and had the Double Tomoe Sharingan, while Sakura... well, she could only use the Three Body Technique.

Even Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama were just skipping rocks at the river when they were twelve.

Of course, those two aren't comparable.

Anyway, after all this, Kurama just wanted to make one thing clear: "If you don't dodge those two Snow Ninjas, your head will be spinning."

Naruto jumped in surprise, feeling the cold chakra closing in. He quickly rolled to the side, dodging the flying Ice Shuriken. Red chakra immediately surrounded his body, protecting him.

The impact of the Shuriken was blocked, but the explosive cold chakra was unavoidable. As the Ice Shuriken exploded, the freezing air swept over Naruto, encasing him completely in ice.

Kakuyoku Fubuki (female) and Fuyukuma Mizore (male) watched Naruto. Chōyuki flew through the air, sneering.

"Just as I thought, you're just a kid. Your strength is about what I expected."

Fuyukuma Mizore's face, as expressionless as ever, showed a hint of pride. "The chakra armor of the Land of Snow can't be broken by you little brats. As long as we have this, we can easily defeat the Five Great Shinobi Countries."

Naruto: "..."

Where do these two get their confidence?

Kurama shrugged. "They're frogs in a well, arrogant and blind. They can't see the truth about the world. They think they're invincible in their little world and believe they can take on the whole world."

"It's a matter of perspective." Kurama lay down again, slightly lifting his eyelids. "Hurry up and finish this. Two fools blinded by chakra armor, even if they're Chunin-level, they can't use their full power."

To be honest, chakra armor works fine against weaker opponents, but it's practically suicidal against stronger ones.

If Kakashi was facing them, let's see if Nadare Rouga would dare to catch a Raikiri with his hands. That would be suicide.

Kakuyoku Fubuki and Fuyukuma Mizore are both blinded by chakra armor. They can't dodge much, and if they try to tank it head-on, Naruto knows more than just Rasengan. Do you think that can stop a Tailed Beast Bomb?

A powerful force erupted from Naruto's body, and cracks appeared on the ice in an instant.

With a loud boom, the ice shattered completely, and Naruto, wearing the clothes of a nine-tailed fox, stepped out from the broken ice.

"You guys, who are blinded by your Chakra armor, have no idea how vast the ninja world is. A frog in a well will always be a frog in a well," Naruto said, his eyes full of killing intent as he stared at the two.

With the Tailed Beast Ball in his left hand and Rasengan in his right, Naruto glared at them. "Let me shatter your false confidence and show you the truth of the ninja world."

Naruto smirked. "I'm a kind person. I can't stand seeing others in pain, so let me send you on your way."

Kurama sighed. "…Where did this kind-hearted saint come from? Wrong set, buddy."

"I'm just learning from you," Naruto said with a loving smile. "And I think what you said makes a lot of sense."
