Hyuga in Attack on Titan

Chapter 77: The protector of peace (77)

Rod looked stunned, there was no way that none of this was the truth, there was no way the royal bloodline would be the one at fault right?

They were the royal bloodline, they were right, they were always right...right?

As the man doubt began to creep in and he tried to not ponder on it too long, thinking that maybe his daughter was lying and that none of this was actually the truth.

The scene around them began to change, this time, he could see for himself what was happening.

It started off with the king of the eldian starting the rumbling... Thousands of people died, and the earth's population was reduced by 20%, however before they could advance further, The Hyuga showed up....like they always did anytime the eldian had abused their power.

They seemed to be acting as some sort of guardian, which was probably due to the fact that the centipede link to them was similar to the one that bonded with Ymir, in a way they kind of view the eldian as their siblings.

Their overpowered siblings throwing a tantrum for the million times.

The Hyuga clan heir at that time had awakened his eyes due to the intense emotion he felt at that time, the intense urge to protect everyone.

And with that drive, he was able to awaken his eyes, the reincarnation eyes...you may be asking why it was called like that.

The answer was simple, anyone who had awakened those eyes would usually get a vision of Hamura about a week to a month before the eyes awakened, and thus they were believed to be Hamura's reincarnation and thus the eyes were named....The Tenseigan.

With the Tenseigan, the clan heir at the time...named Toneri....was able to use the power of those eyes in order to utterly destroy the rumbling, using the almighty power of the eyes, all the colossal titans were slain quite easily.

After the war was done, everyone wanted to kill all the Eldians, seeing them more as devils, however, Toneri did not want to doom the Eldians, and the current king at the time was a friend of his when they were kids.

Instead Toneri.... allowed everyone hurt by the king to hit him....sure there were a lot of people, but he knew his friend could endure it.

He then in front of everyone present.....hit the man Tenketsu point, shutting down the man access to his titan power.

All of this was just to please the public, he even 'exiled' the king to an island with most of his people.

He even went in himself with his immediate family and some friends, about 200 Hyuga, give or take, he called himself their 'Jailor'

Tldr, The Hyuga made sure that the Eldian were not annihilated, however, some did not see it as that, and some saw it as disrespect.

Even if the king knew all of this was for his people, his pride was trampled upon....and thus as his successor grew up, he kept telling them a false version of the story.

Soon the tension between the Hyuga and Eldian royalty was at an all-time high...The king used the Ackerman in order to try to hunt the Hyuga...however, the Ackerman stood no chance and just like all the Hyuga opponents so far were utterly destroyed.

When the Ackerman came back to the king and told him the task was impossible the king called them traitors and had them hunted down.

This went on for a while, up until when he was about to die....he realized something....13 years had passed and he was still alive.

...

And like that another few years passed and as the 30 years since he inherited his titan power came to the man...he realized something.....When Toneri had shut down his Tenketsu point and sealed his access to the founding titan power....he had only sealed away the man's ability to transform into a titan.....nothing more...he even gave the man the chance to live longer....and how did he repay that kindness...

By hunting them down...as that realization hit the man...it was too late, he was too old, and he couldn't do anything to change the 43 years of damage.. alongside the 28 years of manipulation with his son.

Only then, did the man realize that his anger had blinded him.....in his own guilt, the man made a peace oat.....an oat to never use the founding titan to cause problems again.....a vow.....that shall not be broken as long as the founding titan wielder was of royal blood.

As the man laid chain up on a wall ready to be devoured by his son before he died....a silent tear fell down his cheek.

The guilt was eating him alive...he had tried to reach out to the Hyuga but they had retreated somewhere he could not see.

When he eventually met one, he was beaten....he did not fight back though...he just took it, the only reason they didn't kill him was because of Toneri's last wish.

He noticed a small child in one of the women's arms.....the child's eyes were the purest white someone could ever get to witness...this was probably Toneri's grandkid.

On his hand and knee....he begged them to stay....he did not care if that was shameful...he truly didn't, blinded by his own rage, he had killed the people who were making sure the rest of the world hadn't murdered every single one of his people.

The man flipped a coin...and said the head was they stay..tail then leave.....

The king was lucky and it landed on his head...the second that was done, the king transferred about 40% of the country fund to them, himself making sure their new home was somewhere safe. Even using his founding titan power to make sure the place they were was safe.

Though all his effort was for nothing as when his successor inherited his power and found himself unable to start the rumbling....the Hyuga were the perfect scapegoat....though the early kind had hid them well.

Just like in the wall outside the wall, the Hyuga were hunted as well, their eyes were something everyone seemed to want, it was basically a wet dream of any politician...but after about 100 years of hunting, the whole world came into one realization.....

The second the eyes left the socket of a hyuga they became useless, nothing more than.....useless waste of space...and if someone were to implant, it would overload their brain so fast while sapping their life force so fast they could only use it once and only for a short amount of time before dying.

The only way to preserve them was in titan fluid....which was not cheap.

About 17 years ago, a war broke out, between Marley and the rest of the world, yes you heard me right, the rest of the world, everyone including the small nation, every single one of them.

Vs

Marley

...

..

..

They lost.....The battle lasted 2 years, but they lost.

The world population shrunk by about 50%...

However, the Hyuga did not leave the war unscathed. Most of them died during the war due to the use of poison that some Marleyan traitor gave for money, that poison being Titan fluid.

Every single one of them was a murderer, except a singular group, they survived, but they lost access to their chakra.

They soon died, exactly around the time of Akira's birth

....

A/N....Well, the Hyuga in this story are kind of pacifist as with their eyes they can see so much more and kind of see that everyone is basically the same, plus with the centipede treasuring life, they did not want to kill unless necessary...also yes I based the Hyuga in this story from the Hyuga in the moon....

I am really debating on how his mom should look like though.
