Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Two Years
A/N: Hey readers.
So what I said yesterday, forget it. I changed my mind.
Here is the day's chapter.

------------------------------------
The following morning after my arrival at Kamar-Taj I was up bright and early.
Then after slipping into my new robes, which color signified me as a novice, which wouldn't last long, I left my quarters and arrived in the courtyard.
After which the training shortly began.
My group being led by none other than Karl Mordo.

Who I learned, as the class went on, is not a bad teacher in the slightest. In fact I'd say he's a great teacher. If a little forceful.
But since I encountered teachers like Mordo in my previous life his attitude didn't phase me one bit.
Unlike some of my fellow novices who were put off guard by the slightly older masters disposition.
Well they better get used to it.
Otherwise they won't make it in the order.
After two hours passed out physical training came to an end.
Me having no problems getting through it.
Since the original Victor regularly worked out. He even developed a single set of abs. The man knew how to take care of himself.
Good on him.
Especially with his attributes.
Dark-brown eyes, slightly curly dark-brown hair, and a height of 1.88 meters (6'2").
I am not a vain person, but I have no shame is saying I look good.
Means I'll have no troubles with the ladies in the future.
Now back to what I was talking about.
Our physical training ended.
Then once it did all of us novices headed for the library to train our minds.
Since magic requires a key understanding of language.
Like when creating a computer program you need to understand how to write its code. Similar to how the Ancient One described magic in the first Doctor Strange film.
Arriving at the library I grabbed several of the largest books around, found a table to sit at, cracked one open, and began reading it.
Easily comprehending the language and its meaning inside of the book.
Since with my new brain power I can accomplish such a feat easily.
I can even already somewhat understand how to combine magic and science. Just like the original Doom from the comics.
Looks like I'm well on my way to becoming what I call a technomage.
Finishing the first book I was reading I moved onto the next one, then the next, then the next, etc.
Until I was finished reading all the books I had brought with me to the table.
So once I was moved to get more.
Ignoring the shocked looks the other novices in the library were giving me.
Getting more books I continued reading until it was time to move a different aspect of the training.
Then before I knew it the day came to an end.
I then got up the following morning and proceeded to do the same thing all over again.
This went on for three months before I could finally cast higher levels of magic.
Once I did my novice rank was dismissed and I was promoted to apprentice.
Then just before the end of the year I reached the rank of Disciple. Becoming one of the few in the history of the order to ever achieve such a few in such a short amount of time.
But for one such as Doom, such an achievement was a foregone conclusion.
So with that I was awarded the title of Master of the Mystic Arts by the beginning of the following year.
Then once I was I spent the remainder of the year self studying at Kamar-Taj. Learning all I could from its ancient halls.
As well as the orders ancient leader.
Who took me under her wing as her personal apprentice the moment she named me a master.
To say I was a little shock wouldn't be a lie. But I quickly got over that and poured myself into my training with the Ancient One.
The things she showed me expanding the power I had even further.
Then before I knew it everything was said and done and two years had passed by just like that.
