I Am Fugaku Uchiha

Chapter 34: What the hell did he do?

They didn’t understand what their clan leader had gone through in the past six months. But they all agreed that in this world where strength was paramount, the clan leader had left to train for the sake of the Uchiha clan, and he had attained this level of strength in just half a year.

His training must have been extremely rigorous, or even insane. They also finally understood why the clan leader had turned down the offer of three thousand reserve ninjas. That was because he didn’t need them at all.

With his strength, he could face a thousand enemies alone, as long as one of the legendary sannins, Lady Tsunade, helped him cure the poison of the sand ninjas. A true one-man army, Of course, they didn’t know that Fugaku was also immune to the poison.

Fugaku released the jutsu in his hand and smiled at the people who were kneeling on one knee: "It seems that everyone is fine. Now I have to announce the new rules of the Uchiha clan."

At this moment, Akihiko, who had also snapped out of his shock, quickly made his way to the crowd, kneeling before Uchiha Fugaku. His eyes were fixed on the clan leader, no longer seeing him as a friend but as a superior.

The people listened intently as Fugaku announced new rules. The crowd remained silent, waiting for the powerful clan leader to speak.

Fugaku was pleased with their reaction and adjusted his sleeves before explaining, "There is nothing new for you to know. I simply ask that you follow my orders without doubt. If you question my leadership, challenge me with a hundred of your clan members. If you defeat me, I'll willingly step down."

"Yes!"

"Louder, I didn’t hear it!" Fugaku demanded.

"Yes!"

More than four hundred ninjas shouted in unison, their voices echoing over a long distance. Even the distant Konoha could hear the faint noise.

"Excellent! Since everyone is in agreement, we will conclude here. Akihiko will provide further details. Disperse!" Fugaku gestured with his hand, signaling the end of the meeting.

Except for Akihiko and Obito, who were still standing, about five hundred ninjas dispersed in less than a minute. Additionally, someone took away those who were electrocuted and unable to move.

Fugaku smirked. He thought this was the best way to control the Uchiha clan in this world where only strength mattered. He could make them obey him with his strength, and he could prevent any dissatisfaction among clan members towards their leader. To be honest, Fugaku preferred a more diplomatic approach, using reason and emotion to persuade others. That was how a modern person would do things. However, his interactions with the Uchiha people had shown him their arrogance, rendering his preferred method ineffective. Only by completely overpowering them would they submit to his authority.

As for the figure lurking in the darkness, Fugaku's blood-red eyes stared at the distant woods, and he sneered. Whatever their intentions were before, if they dared to harm the Uchiha clan, he would kill them horribly. The Anbu who was watching Fugaku was surprised that he was spotted. He hid behind a tree quickly.

He didn't see him from so far away. He guessed that Danzo would send someone to spy on him after he made a lot of noise. He thought that place was good for hiding.

Fugaku asked without turning around, "Did you learn anything?"

Obito had sneaked behind him at some point. He gulped and shook his head. Fugaku sighed. He looked at him and patted his shoulder.

"It's okay; take your time. Obito..."

He waited for a while but heard nothing. He peeked behind him. He saw Akihiko still in shock. He laughed and said, "Are you dumb? Why are you so quiet?"

Akihiko is reminiscent of his old friend—laid back, amiable, and unconcerned with details—which led to a familiarity between the two. After a deep breath, Akihiko posed the question to Fugaku.

"What have you been doing these past six months?"

He was amazed. He thought Fugaku might be stronger than the third Hokage, who was called the professor and "God of Ninjutsu". The third Hokage knew all kinds of ninjutsu. Fugaku did too. And he had super strength, and Sharingan Akihiko never questioned who Fugaku was. It wasn't that he was dumb, but no one would imagine that someone else's soul took over Uchiha Fugaku. They never thought of it.

Fugaku gave a nonchalant shrug. "I learned some new ninjutsu from the ninjas I encountered and boosted my chakra along the way. Nothing more."

Akihiko looked puzzled and baffled. "Increased chakra reserve? How do you do that?"

Fugaku tapped his shoulder. "Don't think about that now. We have a bigger problem."

"Oh? What problem?" Akihiko was curious and listened to him.
