I Am Fugaku Uchiha

This was a deep underground location in Konoha. If it collapsed, he would die. He ordered the root ninjas, who were ready to execute, to attack.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique."

Lightning Release: Thunder Dragon."

"Wind Release: Wind Cutter Technique."

Fugaku smirked: "Too late."

He slammed his fist on the ground with chakra-enhanced strength. A loud noise, much louder than the previous one, shook the ground.

Being underground, the whole Konoha could almost feel the tremor. The cracks spread almost to the walls surrounding the huge basement. Some ninjas on the wall lost their balance and fell one by one. Under the strong impact, Danzo was also forced to stop his escape.

The punch unleashed a blast of chakra shock waves that swept away the shuriken and kunai in midair. Only the ninjutsu that had been used as counters barely managed to reach him.

"You bastard, Uchiha Fugaku!"

The strength behind this punch was not the same as the one he had used near Hokage Rock on the distant training ground. At that time, Fugaku had a handicapped left hand and held back his strength to avoid affecting Konoha. Moreover, the terrain of Konoha was situated much lower than that level, so it had been spared from the impact.

But this time, he was right below Konoha’s village and caused a tremor that roused every part of the village. Chaos ensued and scared them out of their wits.

"What is happening?"

The Third Hokage exclaimed as he felt the ground shake. He used the body flicker technique to reach the top of the Hokage Building and gazed at the horizon. Then an Anbu ninja appeared before him.

"Hokage-sama, we have located the source of the quake. It seems to be on Danzo-sama’s side."

"Danzo??"

The Third Hokage pondered for a moment, and his face turned grave. Then he said, "Follow me."

He did not bother to put on his hokage robes and dashed towards the root base with a group of anbu ninjas. The ninjas from different clans saw the hokage running on the rooftops and sensed the gravity of the situation. They followed him one by one.

The civilians, who were startled by the commotion, quickly shielded their children playing in the streets and watched the ninjas rushing by.

"Hokage-sama, what is happening?"

Minato asked solemnly, who wore a ninja vest and had yellow hair, who appeared behind the third Hokage.

The third Hokage said calmly as he ran, "I don’t know yet. We will find out soon."

As he spoke, Hyuga Hiashi, Shibi Aburame, Inuzuka Tsume, and En Oyashiro joined the group.

Mikoto felt anxious as she sensed the direction of the quake. She remembered that Fugaku had told her he was going to meet with Lord Danzo.

She knew very well that the source of the tremor was Danzo’s root base. She worried about her husband’s safety and hurried out. She worried about her husband’s safety and hurried out.

She heard someone call her name as soon as she stepped out of the door. She looked back nervously and saw Kushina, with her red hair, waving at her.

"What’s the matter?" Kushina asked as she ran toward her.

"I bet there’s something fun over there. Don’t you agree?"

Mikoto felt even more anxious and said, "Let’s go."

She sped up as much as she could with her pregnancy. Her nervousness was obvious.

"Mikoto, wait for me. What’s wrong?"

"Fugaku is there."

"What?"

"Please, Danzo-sama, there is no need to send me off!"

Fugaku said respectfully and kindly to Danzo, outside the root base. They both looked calm, as if nothing had happened. But the third hokage and the other ninjas who arrived were confused. What was going on? Didn’t they just fight?

"Clan head, Fugaku, go ahead." Danzo said it coldly with closed eyes, followed by a few root ninjas.

Fugaku nodded, turned to the 3rd hokage and the others behind him, and bowed: "Hokage-sama!"

"Clan head, Fugaku... What happened?"

The third hokage hesitated, wanting to ask about the fight, but seeing no signs of it, he couldn’t ask about it.

"Oh?" Fugaku pretended to be surprised.

"I was just showing my justu to Danzo-sama, right, Danzo-sama?"

He spoke loudly, so Danzo could hear him.

"Hmph!" Danzo snorted and left without paying attention to anyone., Only the root ninjas behind him saw Danzo's face turn pale. Danzo’s departure made everyone more puzzled.

"I’ll go, Hokage-sama."

He didn’t wait for the third hokage’s response. He nodded to Hiashi Hyuga, Shibi Aburame, Tsume Inuzuka, En Oyashiro, and Minato, who were friendly with him.

The third hokage wanted to ask questions to Fugaku, but it was not a good time. He raised his hand and gave up reluctantly.

"What happened?"

"Hokage-sama…"

Everyone looked at each other, waiting for his explanation. The walls were thick, and even Hiashi’s Byakugan couldn’t see through them. He didn’t know what happened inside.

The third hokage thought for a while and sighed: "You guys can go back."

He didn’t want to force the two parties to reveal their secrets, since they were both important figures. They had their own dignity, and he decided to ask Danzo later.
