According to the manga and anime, this genjutsu can be cast on anyone who is in the caster's line of sight, regardless of eye contact or Sharingan exposure. For example, Danzō used it on Mifune during the Five Kage Summit by covering his Sharingan and looking at him with his other eye.

The key to using genjutsu is to disrupt the opponent's chakra flow and make them fall into the illusion.

However, if the opponent has a large amount of chakra reserve, they can resist or break free from the genjutsu easily.

That is why people with high chakra reserves or elite shinobi, such as the Hokage, Raikage, Jiraiya, and Tsunade, are rarely affected by genjutsu.

Even Itachi's Tsukuyomi may not work on them. Otherwise, like he almost killed Kakashi, Itachi would have killed Jiraiya. Or he may not want to kill at all.

Therefore, except for Infinite Tsukuyomi, Kotoamatsukami, and Izanami, which are very powerful and rare genjutsu, most Sharingan-based illusions are ineffective against Tsunade.

He should have been able to dodge or block it, right? What is going on? She looks at him, lying on the ground.

He feels a tingling sensation on his chest, and then he feels it healing at a visible speed. The sensation is like nothing he has ever felt before.

It is as if his body is repairing itself from the inside out. The tingling sensation spreads throughout his chest, and he can feel his bones and muscles knitting themselves back together. It is an incredible experience, and he feels grateful for it.

In a few moments, his chest discomfort subsides. It feels amazing. He knows he is not in mortal danger, so he acts unconscious while ignoring Tsunade

He closed his eyes and lay on the ground, enjoying the peace of mind.
