Chapter 337
I’m not a price speculation maniac, but since I promised Seo-hee that we’d go out and spar together just once, I can’t just go easy on her.
That said, I don’t think of myself as a legendary fighter. I was practicing seriously but just enough to be able to manage a match with Seo-hee, so I typically sparred about two to three times a week.
At first, I was driven by the thought of realizing my dream, so to be honest, I didn’t really know why this was enjoyable. I mean, I get that fighting can be a refreshing thing. As I swung my fists and moved my body, my mind would turn completely blank.
The only sounds in the ring were the breathing of two people, the sound of bare feet sliding on the floor, and the thud of gloves hitting skin… such primitive sounds only, making me oblivious to the cheers of those around us.
But that only lasts a day or two. If you keep at it, you’ll eventually hit a boredom phase. I think I went through that once. It’s that feeling of being really annoyed and not wanting to continue, but still going because I’d feel it’d be a waste of what I’ve already done.
Then our eyes meet, the pair that look directly at me.
Those red eyes are beautiful. Wherever they gaze seems like it’ll be honest.
When we’re both standing there ready to throw punches, those red eyes are only focused on me.
It’s a strange feeling. I probably didn’t start feeling this way from our first meeting.
I don’t really believe in the phrase “love at first sight,” but still, it seems I’ve somehow gotten caught up in a similar feeling.
As I follow those red eyes with my own, I notice Seo-hee’s eyes slightly narrow.
It’s like she’s smiling playfully, almost daring me to catch her, and it makes me feel a hint of false pride.
So I reach out to catch her. She dodges and blocks. The counterattack comes. I also dodge and block.
Our breathing grows ragged, and our exposed skin starts to glisten. We both wear slightly loose shorts and tank tops, and neither of us has a bad figure. As sweat flows down our skin, if I saw this on TV, I might not be able to look away from such strange sensuality, but right now, that thought is nowhere near my mind.
With a loud smack, something like skin collides, and droplets of sweat fly like a cartoon impact effect. Some of those must have splashed onto me. And probably mixed too.
On the flip side, as I guard against a flying fist, a heavy shock hits my arm. It’s like my skin is being lashed by a whip, that kind of sound.
It was pure coincidence that I noticed my sweat splashing. It met Seo-hee’s nape, mingling with the droplets of her sweat, flowing down slowly.
Well, yeah.
Saying “I can’t see it” would be a lie. As a person, how could I possibly look at such a scene and not turn away?
Luckily, the red eyes looking at me are so beautiful that they distracted me enough to keep fighting like this.
Once more, the sound of our skin hitting each other echoes.
“…Haah.”
“…Hoo.”
We stagger back a little, exhaling.
And without any prior indication, we plopped down on the floor.
In our sparring, winning or losing isn’t that important. If anything, I’d say we’re just putting things off for the real fights that’ll happen later.
The ring was drenched with our sweat, and though we were indoors, it felt like steam was slowly rising from our heads.
“Ah, I don’t know.”
Knowing it’s dirty, I lay sprawled on the floor.
Today, I exerted myself for no apparent reason, completely engrossed in Seo-hee. This isn’t a lie. It just happened that I stumbled upon such a scene.
I could hear the sound of someone else crashing down to the floor from over there.
Now, the only sound left is the breathing of the two of us.
There used to be this magical girl or an alien technician who gave me quite biased support when we fought each other, but that was just for a day or two, and no one really stuck around to watch us go all-out two or three times a week.
Well, each of us probably had our own things to do.
My body is aching everywhere.
I wonder if this can even be considered “touched.” While I was lost in strange thoughts, I was just breathing heavily.
My lower legs felt a little off.
When I raised my head just slightly to check, I saw Seo-hee crawling toward me. The way she knelt down with her hands on the floor was reminiscent of a feline. I’m not sure if a red feline even exists, though.
Seo-hee, who crawled over to me, flopped down and rested her head on my arm.
“Ouch.”
“Just a moment, please.”
As I whined, Seo-hee laid out her post-event announcement.
“It’s a bit dirty.”
“Really?”
“No, you can clearly see the sweat dripping. Even in this moment.”
“Is that so? Do you think I look dirty right now?”
Well, it seems like it might feel different depending on the time and situation. For instance, if she crawled at me like this all sweaty after we’d been playing outside without changing clothes, I’d probably freak out since both our bodies would be in a “dirty” state.
To put it bluntly, it doesn’t feel that different now either. But at the same time, something about it feels subtly different.
While I was pondering what exactly was different, Seo-hee turned to lie on her side facing me.
A few strands of her red hair stuck to her face.
A faint, slightly humid smell wafted in. It was inevitable since both our bodies were sweaty.
Once again, I found myself looking at her chest without realizing it. A bit of sweat flowed from inside, downward, almost like it was covering a boundary that shouldn’t normally be visible, which felt kind of suggestive.
“Hehe.”
Seo-hee let out a rather lewd sound before suddenly—
“Whaaa!?”
She lunged towards me.
Seo-hee’s body, still full of warmth, pressed right against me. I was already lying flat, so I was a bit self-conscious about my armpit, but then her face got closer.
Of course, Seo-hee didn’t bury her face there or anything—
“Smack.”
She pressed her lips against my sweat-covered body and then buried her face right into my chest.
Before I knew it, I turned my body towards her, ending up in an embrace.
Seo-hee’s body felt like it had some spring to it rather than being overly soft. Her skin was smooth, and the sweat made it feel even slicker.
…
With Seo-hee nuzzling my chest, I thought maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to do something a little perverted.
With that thought in mind, I—
“Yikes!?”
I gently touched her back.
Just a bit under the tank top that rolled up slightly in the back.
Well, if I’m honest, it was a bit lower than that.
Still pressing our hot and damp bodies together, we stayed like that for a while. My racing heartbeat surely reached Seo-hee. I could almost hear hers in return.
Seo-hee lifted her face slightly towards me.
The predator that was approaching for its prey was now absent. Instead, a drenched cat looked up at me, appearing pitiful.
What beautiful eyes. The red hair, now damp and flushed, looked lovely.
Her face too flushed prettily.
With an expression as if her breath could be seen, Seo-hee gazed at me with slightly wet eyes.
Now that I think about it, that fierce demeanor didn’t seem to just be an act.
Rather, it felt closer to that of prey.
Deliberately inching into the den of the predator, pretending to be unaware, yet fully aware.
By the laws of nature, it should be miraculous, but well, there’s no denying such a thing exists, because here it is right in front of me.
Seo-hee shifted a bit closer to me. The soft parts of her body brushed against me. Our wet clothes clung together, and I felt like I could tell how her body was shaped without even touching her.
At this point, there’s no need to differentiate whose sweat is whose.
I gave Seo-hee a gentle smile and slowly lowered my face toward hers.
Indeed, this was an action I never usually took from my side.
Our lips slowly met, and today, I moved mine just a bit more assertively than Seo-hee.
“Mm….”
Seo-hee let out a sound that felt like it would melt her.
And in a sense, that was a sound of ‘losing.’
Seo-hee seemed oddly pleased to accept that defeat.
On the wet ring, with our damp bodies, we spent that time attached like that. We didn’t go any further. For some reason, we both seemed endlessly satisfied just like that, and we even dozed off a little. Or were we just too tired? Well, either way, doing more than that would probably be tough after we’d already clashed.
With our bodies slowly cooling down as the sweat dried, we stayed that way until the kids finally came down, looking for us, as we clung to each other for what felt like an eternity.
