Chapter 214: Chapter 214: The Unstoppable Sun God, Ace is Rescued
Chapter 214: The Unstoppable Sun God, Ace is Rescued
"Ha ha ha, ha ha ha…"
On the high platform,
Suddenly, an obnoxious laugh rang out, grating on everyone's nerves as it continued endlessly.
Vice Admiral Green Bull, who had been maintaining control over the massive cocoon, suddenly froze. His expression shifted.
The next moment—
"Boom!"
An explosion shattered the cocoon into countless fragments, revealing a pure white figure inside.
This figure, unmistakably Luffy, had returned to his normal form. However, his hair and clothing had turned completely white. A "steam-like sash" wrapped around his torso, looping from his armpit to the back of his neck, giving him an almost divine appearance.
Aside from these striking changes, his eyebrows and eyes had become more exaggerated, his features taking on an abstract and surreal look.
Most astonishingly, his entire body was surrounded by golden lightning.
Seeing Luffy's transformed appearance, Garp couldn't help but ask, "Sengoku, what's going on with my grandson… I mean, this brat Luffy? Why does he look like this?"
Sengoku ignored Garp, clenching his teeth in silence, though his heart was in turmoil.
So it's true… the legendary warrior!
As Luffy broke free from the cocoon, he instantly drew the attention of everyone present.
Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Garp, Fujitora, Green Bull, Qin Muyin, and the recently returned Admiral Kizaru all moved into position, encircling him.
This lineup was incredibly formidable.
Yet, Luffy's face remained adorned with a carefree smile, showing no trace of fear.
"Ha ha ha, ha ha ha…"
The laugh began again, irritating everyone within earshot.
Apparently unable to endure Luffy's maddening laugh, Fujitora was the first to act.
"Hum!"
With a wave of his staff-blade, immense gravity once again pressed down on Luffy.
In an instant, Luffy's body was distorted and compressed like soft clay.
But this time, Luffy wasn't pinned to the ground.
Instead, the area beneath his feet underwent an uncanny transformation, becoming an unknown, highly elastic material that resembled a trampoline.
Luffy stood upright again, bouncing around the battlefield while laughing gleefully, completely unfazed.
The seasoned warriors present immediately understood what had happened.
"He's altered the structure of the ground... is this the awakening of his Devil Fruit?" murmured Fujitora.
He suddenly swung his staff-blade again, unleashing a powerful gravity slash.
"Gravity Blade: Ferocious Tiger!"
A purple slash, imbued with the force of gravity, roared toward Luffy, crushing everything in its path.
In response, Luffy crouched down, grabbed the ground with both hands, and gave it a fierce shake.
The earth rippled like noodles, causing the purple slash to veer off course, redirecting it toward Kizaru, who had been preparing a sneak attack.
Kizaru, with light already gathering on his fingertips, quickly abandoned his attack and turned into a beam of light to evade the incoming slash.
Fujitora, sensing another threat, immediately spun around and raised his staff-blade to block.
"Clang!"
A figure collided with Fujitora's blade—Zoro, dual swords in hand.
"Blind old man, your opponent is me!"
Feeling the force transmitted through his staff-blade, Fujitora's expression grew serious. This swordsman was a formidable foe who couldn't be underestimated.
Elsewhere, Kizaru reappeared high in the air, his hands glowing as he prepared to unleash an attack on Luffy.
Suddenly—
"Demon God Wind Leg!"
"Whoosh!"
A fiery streak tore through the air.
Sanji, moving like a blazing inferno, launched a powerful kick at Kizaru.
The kick, impossibly fast and brimming with Haki, left Kizaru no time to fully transform. He hastily reinforced his arm with Armament Haki to block.
"Bang!"
The clash generated a shockwave in midair.
Kizaru, despite being an Admiral, barely managed to block the attack.
The fact that Kizaru had parried such a devastating kick in a hurry was a testament to his extraordinary strength.
However, his usual laziness was evident—unless absolutely necessary, he avoided exerting effort.
Sanji, unfazed that Kizaru had blocked his attack, glared at him and warned fiercely, "Stay out of our captain's way!"
Kizaru, gazing at Sanji with a slightly solemn expression, muttered, "What terrifying rookies…"
With Zoro and Sanji each keeping an Admiral occupied, the pressure on Luffy significantly decreased.
At that moment—
Vice Admiral Green Bull raised his massive, tree-like fist and swung it at Luffy.
Seeing the attack, Luffy's grin only widened. His own fist expanded rapidly, spinning in midair before clashing directly with Green Bull's fist.
In his Fifth Gear form, Luffy's strength had undergone an incredible increase, rivaling even Kaido.
"Boom!"
The two massive fists collided, but instead of a loud impact, Luffy's rubberized fist caught Green Bull's tree-like one.
With a rubbery shake of his arm, Luffy sent shockwaves through Green Bull's body, causing the Vice Admiral's massive tree-like form to tremble.
"Whoosh!"
To everyone's astonishment, Green Bull's enormous body was hurled into the air, crashing down in the distance.
"Ha ha, ha ha ha…"
Luffy's maddening laughter filled the battlefield once again.
Luffy held onto Green Bull tightly, spinning him around in the sky and tossing him in every direction like a toy.
This style of combat—it was as if Luffy was just playing!
On Green Bull's enlarged treant-like face, a flash of anger appeared.
Then—
"Crack!"
With a resolute decision, Green Bull severed his own arm to escape Luffy's grip.
Luffy didn't mind. His gaze immediately shifted toward the execution platform where Ace was held, and he shot forward without hesitation.
However—
The moment Luffy took off, he found himself frozen mid-air, unable to move.
An invisible force restrained him, locking his body in place.
Turning his head, Luffy saw a female Marine admiral he had never encountered before floating in midair, radiating a faint green glow.
Clearly, it was her power that had immobilized him.
"Tap, tap, tap…"
Luffy's legs suddenly began moving rapidly, spinning in circles like a fiery whirlwind.
He was attempting to use sheer speed to break free from Qin Muyin's telekinetic hold.
Unfortunately, her control was far too strong. No matter how much Luffy struggled, he couldn't escape.
Qin Muyin further intensified her attack, telekinetically sending seastone-tipped darts hurtling toward Luffy.
Startled, Luffy's body contorted into exaggerated shapes, his eyes bulging out comically as he narrowly avoided the deadly projectiles.
Before Qin Muyin could press her advantage, Luffy grabbed a nearby golden lightning bolt, as if it were a tangible object.
The lightning transformed into a spear in Luffy's hands. Without a moment's hesitation, he hurled the lightning spear toward Qin Muyin.
Instantly—
Qin Muyin's expression shifted slightly.
Her telekinesis failed to control the lightning spear.
It wasn't that the spear was too powerful; it had transcended material form, existing more like light.
While Qin Muyin's telekinesis could control physical objects, it could not manipulate light.
In the blink of an eye, the lightning spear reached Qin Muyin.
It was soundless, yet carried an overwhelming sense of danger.
Realizing the threat, Qin Muyin quickly dodged, abandoning the idea of using a psychic barrier to block it.
She was correct—since her telekinesis couldn't control the lightning, her barrier wouldn't stop it either.
"Rip!"
The spear grazed Qin Muyin's shoulder, tearing through her coat of justice.
Though resembling light, the spear possessed tangible, destructive power.
At that moment, Luffy's strangeness became all the more apparent.
The distraction allowed Luffy to break free from Qin Muyin's telekinetic grip.
His elongated arms stretched out and latched onto the edge of the execution platform.
The next second—
Luffy's body shot forward like a compressed spring, launching him straight toward the platform.
Seeing this, Sengoku roared, "Garp!"
Reluctantly, Garp moved, joining Sengoku to block Luffy's path atop the execution platform.
"Bang!"
Even as his grandfather stood before him, Luffy didn't stop.
He barreled forward, headbutting Garp directly in the face.
Such a straightforward attack was impossible for Garp to miss, yet he didn't dodge.
Instead, Garp threw a punch—intentionally missing—allowing himself to be knocked away by Luffy's attack.
It was blatant favoritism, so obvious that even the blind could see it.
Garp's actions infuriated Sengoku, whose face turned ashen with anger.
The next moment—
Sengoku's body rapidly expanded, transforming into a towering golden Buddha over ten meters tall.
This was his Devil Fruit ability: Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu.
As the golden Buddha, Sengoku threw a powerful punch at the oncoming Luffy, unleashing a shockwave so intense it seemed to ripple through the air itself.
Luffy, seemingly anticipating Sengoku's move, transformed his body into a flexible, noodle-like shape.
His elastic body absorbed the shockwave, rendering the attack completely ineffective.
In a bold maneuver, Luffy slipped under Sengoku's massive arm and finally reached the execution platform.
"Ace! I can finally save you!" Luffy shouted, his laughter ringing out joyously.
Ace, overwhelmed, could barely find the words. "Luffy…"
As the brothers reunited, Sengoku's expression darkened further.
Enraged, he launched another punch directly at the execution platform.
If he couldn't stop Luffy from saving Ace, he would simply execute Ace himself!
But in his Fifth Gear form, Luffy wasn't about to let that happen.
Grabbing the platform with his bare hands, he transformed it into rubber, then hurled the entire structure at Sengoku, intercepting his punch.
Using the distraction, Luffy escaped with Ace in tow.
However, the seastone cuffs on Ace's wrists remained an issue.
Even with his awakened Devil Fruit powers, Luffy couldn't alter the properties of seastone.
Seastone, after all, was a natural counter to Devil Fruit users.
But Luffy wasn't worried.
He knew exactly who had the key.
"Hancock!" Luffy shouted toward the Warlords of the Sea.
The Warlords, who had been casually spectating the chaos like bystanders, snapped to attention at his call.
Among them, Boa Hancock—known as the Pirate Empress—blushed furiously, her face glowing as if intoxicated.
Then—
Luffy's voice rang out again, "Hurry and give me the key!"
Indeed, Hancock held the key to Ace's seastone cuffs.
Having already experienced the Marineford War once, Luffy knew this crucial detail...
