I Spread Pokemon All Over the World

Chapter 33 - I have such a relationship with the water system.

Chapter 33: I have such a relationship with the water system.

“Although the appearance is a bit strange if such a fish can really be cultivated into Milotic, right?”

“I think it must be an indescribable sense of accomplishment.”

Chen Yun said with emotions it was precisely because the current Feebas was ugly, but when it transformed and sublimated, its beauty would be even more shocking, wouldn’t it?

But it was undeniable that such a Feebas must be cared for during this process.

Well, it was still a little uncomfortable.

Bai Qianqian looked up at Guxin, hesitated for a moment, and confirmed to Guxin. “Boss, I want this Feebas, but is it useless now?”

Guxin replied, “Yes, it is impossible for the Feebas to fight against Pokemon. Not to mention that it has requirements for the battle environment. Even if it really fights, its combat power is extremely weak.”

Guxin tried his best to euphemistically express the ability of the Feebas in this period.

The Feebas was a standard water Pokemon. Its appearance was like a fish, and it could not fly.

If it wanted to fight, it also needed a water system field, not to mention that its combat effectiveness was only a little bit better than the Magikarp.

To put it simply, the current ugly Feebas was a war scum.

“Then I’ll draw another one.”

Bai Qianqian frowned slightly. It was an accident that she got the Feebas. She intended to add a main force that could fight now.

“No problem at all!”

“Of course, no problem!” Guxin raised an eyebrow and handed the Pokédex to Bai Qianqian. He was more happy than Bai Qianqian to draw again.

Bai Qianqian still wanted to draw. She couldn’t wish for Feebas!

“Boss, you should be a bit more subtle. Look at your expression,” Chu Kelian looked at Guxin with disdain. As soon as she heard that Bai Qianqian wanted to draw again, Guxin’s face lit up with joy.

“Guest, can’t you be a bit more considerate? Have you ever thought about how tough it is to run a pet shop in a city so far away?” Guxin retorted, somewhat irritated.

“That’s not right. Your videos online are quite popular, boss,” Lin Sheng voiced his confusion. Even though Guxin had only posted two videos, they had both garnered a tremendous amount of attention.

“Who knows, maybe it’s because they don’t want to come all the way to Shanghai to visit a pet store, or perhaps they still have doubts about the authenticity of the videos,” Guxin replied with a shrug.

Guxin shrugged, expressing his helplessness. This was something he couldn’t quite comprehend. Despite the high popularity of his videos, few people were willing to visit his store in person. While the number of customers in his shop had increased slightly over the past few days, the prices of the Pokémon still deterred some people. Moreover, regarding online videos, many still believed that they were just computer-generated animations. A fox that could breathe fire and a lizard with red skin? Who would believe it? Even if professionals vouched for the authenticity in the comments, viewers were likely to assume it was a setup.

“And even if someone’s interested, they won’t rush to come here,” Guxin shook his head. After all, the videos had only been online for two days, and the battle video was just uploaded last night. It’s only the second day; results don’t come overnight.

“Now, boss, your shop’s reputation hasn’t been fully established yet. When I go back, I’ll help promote you within our circle,” Chen Yun suggested, thinking for a moment. After all, he had spent 60 million on Larvitra, and if this shop could truly expand and popularize Pokémon as creatures, then Larvitra’s fame would spread even further, right? Chen Yun, the young master, owned a Quasi-legendary Pokémon, Larvitra! Such things needed to be known!

“Thank you very much, Mr. Chen,” Guxin expressed his gratitude. Having a customer who was willing to help promote the store voluntarily was the best outcome.

“Are those guys all deceiving me?” Chu Kelian blinked as she took out her phone and checked her social media. She had quite a few friends, but the only real one was her childhood friend, Bai Qianqian, who had posted on her social media yesterday. She had recommended Pokémon Home Pet Store and even shared a short video of Charmander and Squirtle. Many people liked and commented. Some even expressed their desire to visit. But now, not a single one had come?

“Boss, take a look at this,” it was at this moment that Bai Qianqian handed over the Pokédex. She had finished drawing.

“Oh, it’s Horsea,” Guxin took the Pokédex and immediately recognized the Pokémon. “It looks pretty cute, doesn’t it? Quite adorable.”

Chu Kelian leaned in to get a closer look at the picture of the blue Horsea on the Pokédex and seemed very interested.

“This is also a Water-type Pokémon, and it has great potential. Its final evolution even has the Dragon type,” Guxin explained with a smile to Bai Qianqian.

“Dragon type?” Bai Qianqian’s beautiful eyes shimmered slightly. “Then I’ll take this one!”

The boss had mentioned that having a Dragon-type Pokémon was quite rare, and Dragon was a powerful type! Plus, this little Horsea had an adorable appearance that matched her aesthetic perfectly. There was no reason not to get it!

“Wait a moment,” Guxin nodded and went into a separate area.

In a short while, Guxin returned with a small water bucket.

“Boss, does Horsea also require specific conditions like a battlefield?” Bai Qianqian asked as she noticed the water bucket. She had almost forgotten that Horsea was a water-type Pokémon!

Now that she thought about it, why did she seem so destined to have Water-type Pokémon? Three of them in a row!

“That’s not true. Although Horsea is best for living in water, it can fight on land, but it’s not as flexible as in water.”

Guxin shook his head and replied, except for the few completely fish-bodied Pokemon, like the Magikarp and Feebas.

Most water-type Pokemon could fight on land, but they were not as flexible and comfortable as on water-type venues.

The same was true for the Horsea. It could also jump and move on the ground, but in the water, the Horsea’s movement flexibility was, of course, higher.

“That’s good,” Bai Qianqian sighed in relief.

“Ding! Horsea, Water type, Dragon Pokémon

Ability: Swift Swim

Moves: Water Gun, Leer, Smokescreen, Aurora Beam

It maintains its balance by whirling its tail like a propeller. It’s said to shoot ink violently from its mouth when it encounters flying bugs,” Chu Kelian read from the Pokédex as she aimed it at the curious Horsea poking its head out of the water bucket. This little one didn’t seem to be shy.

“Horsea, nice to meet you,” Bai Qianqian said, genuinely liking the cute little seahorse. Squirtle also approached the water bucket, eager to interact with its new friend. Horsea squinted its eyes and happily greeted Bai Qianqian.

“It’s a very outgoing child,” Guxin commented with a light chuckle.

“So, Miss Bai, 100,000 for Feebas, 200,000 for Horsea, a total of 300,000,” Guxin stated the prices.

While Feebas was common and only cost 100,000, Horsea, while not rare, was somewhat more valuable, hence the price of 200,000.

“Credit card!” Bai Qianqian didn’t hesitate and took out her bank card. To her, 300,000 was small change compared to her initial reaction when she bought Squirtle. She felt like she had made a great deal, especially considering she now had two Pokémon for just 300,000.
