I swung my greatsword at Hogwarts

Chapter 25 Hagrid and the Dragon Egg

Snape?

Threatening Quirrell?

I'm afraid you made a mistake.

"Harry, you are responsible for what you say."

John's expression became serious, which made Harry think that John was not joking.

"You are now framing the professor at Hogwarts, the head of Slytherin. If there is no evidence, you will be expelled."

Of course, things like dropping out of school were all casually mentioned by John.

The school rules that Harry committed in Hogwarts could be copied all over the common room, and Dumbledore did not see any punishment for him.

Harry didn't know this, and he was a little bit concerned, but he saw it with his own eyes, nodded vigorously and said, "I swear, John, I won't lie to you."

Not knowing what was wrong with him, Harry thought he should tell John.

Obviously John respected Snape but was always hated. He felt that John should not be kept in the dark.

Seeing his promise, John sighed: "Okay, I believe you, but I have to go through the investigation, and there is not much time left for the exam. You'd better review it first."

Harry was glad to see that John believed in himself.

He felt that he had done a good thing, and went to the Gryffindor lounge after the previous haze.

But he didn't think about why John was on the eighth floor, and the Slytherin lounge was not here.

...

Room of Requirement.

Carefully, John dipped a quill into ink and wrote a rune on the snail's butt.

It was only the last touch that could be finished, and even John's eyebrows seemed to be exerting force, gently stroking across the surface of the snail.

An 'F' like a bent arm landed on the ass of the Whelk.

"It's just one step away."

With joy on John's face, he took out his wand and tapped on the table, coughing lightly.

He aimed his wand at the rune on the snail's butt, and the magic power penetrated into it along the chopstick-like point.

There was a light on the 'F', and just when John thought he was going to succeed, the light turned into a puff of black smoke, and the wreck butt exploded and sputtered fragments onto the cauldron.

John, who was on guard, cast an Iron Armor Curse on himself, and after the spell dissipated, he was a little depressed.

"It still doesn't work. It seems that it is too difficult to complete the enchantment by level 1 alone."

Just now he was refining the butt of the fried-tailed snail, which obviously failed.

John speculated that there might be a problem with the ink used to write the runes. Picking up the ink, he said unwillingly, "Do you want to use the blood of magical creatures?"

Alchemy has been inseparable from potions since ancient times, and there are only two places where John wants to get good materials.

One is the Forbidden Forest, and the other is the office of the headmaster.

As far as the difficulty of the two is concerned, John decided to go to Hagrid for trouble.

If he happened to be refining Veritaserum in Snape's office, he might be the one to taste it.

That taste must be bad.

Before going, John returned the books he had finished reading to the library.

library.

Our know-it-all lady, Hermione Granger, has entered Spartan mode. She lists a series of review plans, which seems to be killing her classmates.

Neither Harry nor Ron dared touch her brow during this time, as Hermione prepared to end John's undefeated run in the final exam week.

She immersed herself in studying hard, and even Harry and Ron were miserable, and they were pulled over as companions, and even Neville was not let go.

Seeing John coming, the two of Harry seemed to see a savior.

"John, here."

Neville screamed excitedly, and was chased and hit by a feather duster that was suspended in the air.

"Are you studying here?"

John was a little surprised. He wasn't surprised that Hermione was here, but the other three seemed like little eunuchs accompanying the emperor to study.

"Thank you John, the things you sent are very useful." Neville finally learned to shut up, so that he would not be chased and beaten.

What he was talking about was the pet cage that John gave him at Christmas. After putting Lefe in it, he never saw him again.

"As long as you like it." John put the book back, sat in front of a few people and wondered, "Didn't Nicole Flamel find out?"

"It's Hermione, she has made a lot of review plans, my God, why don't you let me fight the trolls." Ron complained loudly, ushering in a new round of feather dusters.

Harry also nodded hurriedly and said, "We are decades away from the exam."

Hermione frowned and said angrily, "Decades? We have less than ten weeks left!"

"You see, didn't John also start reviewing?"

John, who was named, was a little embarrassed. He really didn't review, and the books he read were all related to alchemy. It can be said that he didn't need it for the exam at all.

But this reminded him of the task of Xueba 2.0, and he had to suppress Hermione for the rest of the time.

Watching her bury herself in the pile of books made John feel more stressed.

"Okay, I still have to go to Hagrid, you go ahead."

There was quite an attitude of meeting the King Juan. After leaving these words, John left regardless of the eyes of the other three asking for help.

Upon reaching Hagrid's cabin, John felt the heat.

There is already a breath of summer, no need to light the fireplace in the house even if you are afraid of the cold, right?

"Hagrid, are you cooking?"

"Merlin's beard."

Pushing open the door and stepping in, Hagrid was taken aback.

The big body blocked the front of the fireplace, and the face occupied by the furry beard squeezed out a smile.

"It turned out to be John."

"Otherwise who do you think it is?"

John had a strange expression on his face. He walked to the chair and looked at the fireplace.

Hagrid's nonchalant movements blocked his view.

He shrugged, and said with a look of surprise: "Well, it seems that Hagrid has created another strange thing."

"Noble is not surprised, it is a rare Norwegian Ridgeback."

Hagrid retorted subconsciously, and saw the expression on John's face as expected.

Hagrid with a big mouth couldn't keep a secret. Now that he was found out, he resignedly moved away from the fireplace.

John saw a kettle placed over the fire with an egg the size of an ostrich egg beneath.

"This is a dragon egg? Are you sure you won't bake it?"

This dragon egg has been roasted black, and John thinks it may be medium-rare.

"No, put the eggs in the fire because their mother breathes on them."

Hagrid has done a lot of homework. When it comes to understanding magical creatures, Hagrid is definitely at the professor level.

John thought for a moment when he heard the words, isn't he still troubled by the ink, the powerful fire dragon blood might be a good choice.

There was a smile on his face, and John's expression made Hagrid uneasy.

The bearded man twitched, and said in a low voice, "John, you have to promise me not to tell anyone else."

"Oh--?"

The end sound was lengthened, and John's smiling expression made Hagrid feel uneasy. John glanced at the dragon egg and said, "Hagrid, you don't want other people to know about this, do you?"

"John, we're friends." Hagrid muttered.

John said: "A real friend will correct mistakes, not make mistakes together, but..."

Hagrid hoped that his eyes would fall on John, and John smiled brightly: "I'll be with you, of course I won't betray you, after all, who wouldn't want to own a fire dragon?"

"That's great John, I knew you wouldn't betray me." Hagrid was suddenly as happy as a half-ton child.

John pretended to be distressed and sighed, "Actually, I also want a fire dragon. There are twelve uses of dragon's blood in the exam, which gives me a headache. You know, I don't have much money."

"Don't worry, John, when Norbert grows up, you can get free dragon blood."

Hagrid has always been generous to his friends.

John smiled, and after asking Hagrid for a basketful of snail butts, he left contentedly.

Not long after he left, Hagrid went out to the library to find more books about dragons, and happened to meet the three little ones who were reviewing.

The result after that is self-evident. The three little ones also found the dragon egg just like John, but they kept their mouths shut for the sake of their friends.
