This is a popular genre of novels and anime that is now well known to everyone.

It is a story in which the main character dies for some reason and is reincarnated in a medieval European-style world where magic and sorcery exist and does whatever he wants.

Especially recently, “aristocrat villain” stories, in which the protagonist is reincarnated as a villain in a game or novel and struggles to avoid the fate of death, have become very popular.

That being said, I also love stories about reincarnation in another world, and I’ve also read a lot of  “villain aristocrat stories”.

……Why did I bring this up all of a sudden?

That’s right…to put it simply.

I muttered dumbfoundedly when I saw myself in the mirror.

This is  “Friedrich Riggle Asmodai”, an easy-to-understand villainous nobleman and mid-boss who appears in the RPG called “Apostle of Arinasia”.

In the story, he takes pride in being an aristocrat, makes fun of the hero, who is from a commoner background, sometimes violently attacks him, and even tries to cuckold the heroine with whom the protagonist is in a good relationship.

“Could it be that I’ve become Friedrich…!?”

Reincarnation into another world.

Those words came to my mind.

I’ve enjoyed this genre in novels and anime, but I never thought I’d get caught up in it.

“Does that mean I’m dead?”

It is common knowledge that the protagonists of otherworldly stories usually die in the real world and are reincarnated.

If that’s the case, then it would mean that I, a normal office worker in the real world, have died.

“It was a hard time for me as a middle manager…..”

Friedrich’s reflection in the mirror gave a distant look.

The title of section chief was a big deal, but all he had to do is train his subordinates and respond to his boss’s unreasonable behavior.

The setting of “The Apostles of Arinasia” is the “Cadonic Academy of Magic” located in the neutral kingdom of Hora.

While studying magic there, the protagonists fights a secret society that is plotting the resurrection of a demon god, and before long, they find themselves in a war that engulfs the entire continent.

The story takes place in a fantasy world where, in addition to humans, there are beastmen, demons (by the way, Friedrich’s race is also a demon race), and elves, who are fairies.

The head of the secret society that plans the revival of the demon god is the Marquis Asmodai, Friedrich’s father, who is the last boss of the game.

In other words, while I am a villainous aristrocrat, I have also been reincarnated as the son of the final boss.

“Isn’t this high difficulty?”

I can’t help but be sad.

In the middle of the game, the protagonist will fight Friedrich during the graduation exam for  “Cadonic Academy of Magic”. If he loses here, it’s game over and of course Friedrich always loses due to the setting of the scenario, but Marquis Asmodei is disappointed in Friedrich because he lost to a commoner, and brainwashes him to go berserk and incite the protagonist.

Friedrich no longer has any self-worth at that time, and shows a pitiful appearance of being turned into a bullet by his own father, but his previous misdeeds are so glaring that players have little sympathy for him.

“What should I do…how should I avoid having to face something like that…?”

Perhaps the turning point in that pitiful ending for Friedrich was his defeat by the protagonist in the graduation exam.

From the perspective of the Marquis of Asmodai, who values the blood of nobility and looks down on commoners completely, he could not believe that his own son had lost to such a being.

As a result, he was disappointed in Friedrich and treated him like a bullet.

In other words, what I do is.

“I will beat the main character in the graduation exam…!”

That’s the only option.

Although the main character is proud of his parameters and ranks first or second in the series, this is not the time to whine.

“This Friedrich…isn’t he quite young?”

Friedrich in the mirror looks a lot younger than I remember him.

In other words, he is still in the early stages of the game. I’m sure it was a few years before he entered the Cadonic Academy of Magic.
