I Was Reincarnated with OP Invincibility, so I’ll Beat ’em Up My Way as an Action-Adventurer

Chapter 126

126. Breakthrough

Our battle with the giant Demon General Victim continued.

“Uoooooh!”

Jack roared as he charged forward.

The current form of Jack was no longer that of a beast knight. Wings sprouted from his back, his limbs elongated, and the wolf-like mask had transformed into one reminiscent of a dragon.

More fittingly called a dragon warrior than a beast knight.

“Defeat the demon clan… annihilate them…!”

Jack, clad in red phosphorescent light, dashed in a straight line. Just by running, shockwaves erupted around him.

The red flash surpassed the speed of sound, rushing toward the rocky giant.

“Still the same reckless charge, I see.”

Victim murmured quietly.

─Not quite.

I responded in my mind.

Jack and I had already worked out our plan.

“All I can do is this. Anyone who threatens to harm those precious to me… anyone who might destroy my peaceful everyday life… I will eliminate them… all of them…!”

Shouting, Jack unleashed a punch.

An attack amplified by extreme physical enhancement, turning a mere fist strike into an attack far surpassing even high-level magic.

But no matter how strong Jack was, damaging the sturdy defenses of Victim wasn’t going to be easy.

“You cannot defeat me with brute strength alone, insignificant beings.”

Victim expelled the struck rocks from his body, repelling Jack as well.

Reactive armor. A defense where the rock surface bursts in response to an opponent’s strike, reflecting the impact.

Furthermore, Victim combined his magic, preventing us from approaching easily.

Somehow, we needed to break the rock wall towering behind him to reach Lilith and the others─.

No, we would reach them.

“I will break through─”

I glared at the rock giant.

“I’ll say it again. You cannot defeat me with brute strength.”

“Defeat you? That’s not it.”

I activated my skill. Exactly as planned with Jack.

“Uoooh!”

Jack let out a brief roar and struck at nothing.

“What are you hitting─what?!”

There was my skill.

─[Alter].

─[Kaleidoscope Shift].

Countless reflected punches hit directly.

Not at Victim. At the rock wall separating us from Lilith and the others.

“No, this can’t─”

Victim clicked his tongue.

Yes, Jack’s attack on Victim was just a diversion to conceal our real goal. The true aim─was to exploit a moment of vulnerability and shatter the wall with reflected attacks.

With a deafening sound, part of the rock wall crumbled, leaving a large hole. Through that opening, we rushed to Lilith and the others.

“Lilith, Alice, are you alright?!”

I shouted as I took in the scene─.

Black and golden lightning struck down a black-clad boy.

“Impossible… defeated by mere humans…?!”

Zarea groaned.

White smoke rose from his staggering body. His slender frame slowly disintegrated into light particles. The scythe in his hands shattered.

Standing opposite him were two stunning girls in elegant black attire, wielding long staves─Lilith and Alice.

They had won.

“Cursed… fools… d-damn… you…”

With a final spiteful curse─.

The death god-like Demon General vanished.

“Halt…”

Lilith turned, but there was no joy of victory in her eyes. Only a pained, sorrowful expression.

“Meriel…”

A demon girl in a black dress lay collapsed. Seeing the blue pool of blood beneath her, it was clear what had happened.

Surrounded by a faint curtain of light─likely healing magic. It seemed she was barely alive─.

Suddenly, a loud crash resounded as the wall behind us crumbled.

Victim had broken through, reaching us.

“So Zarea has fallen.”

The groaning giant Demon General.

“Now, I am the last one left… huh?”

At that moment, the ground shook violently.

The earth trembled. Cracks spread across the sky.

“This… is─”

Victim growled.

“The dimension is collapsing. So many powerful forces colliding has made it unstable… it cannot hold.”

This place had been specially created by the demons for their battle against us. And now it was breaking apart.

“The tide of battle is against us─pointless death is not what the Demon King desires.”

Above Victim’s head, a black hole appeared.

An interdimensional portal─the Syrega.

“I shall return to the demon realm. Our battle is postponed.”

With those words, Victim was sucked into the hole and vanished.

The next moment, the blue haze dissipated, revealing the familiar wasteland.

No, we were back. Back to our original location─.
