Yet, the Demon King’s orders are absolute, and Meriel resolves to break her hesitation,

taking Lilith and Alice hostage to lure Haruto.

In a separate dimension, Haruto faces Meriel, along with two more Demon Generals, Zarea and Victim.

Meanwhile, drawn by the demonic presence, Jack also appears in this otherworldly realm.

In the Demon World, the final Demon General Io and the Demon King have begun their own schemes.

Chapter 13: The Blade of the Reaper, the Giant’s Hammer

Haruto and Jack, the two Skill Holders, join forces to battle against the three Demon Generals.

Lilith and Alice join the fray, turning the battle into chaos. Amidst the turmoil,

Meriel realizes her true feelings and acts to protect Lilith and Alice.

Shielding them from Zarea’s attack, Meriel suffers a fatal injury.

The power passed on from Meriel to Lilith and Alice allows them to face Zarea.

Mastering an extraordinary magic born from the fusion of human and demonic power,

they defeat Zarea.

The remaining Victim is cornered by Haruto and Jack and forced to retreat.

With her final strength, Meriel enters a dormant state and resides in the staffs of Lilith and Alice.

Crossing the boundaries of species, the three friends promise to meet again someday,

before parting ways for a time.

Meanwhile, Vanessa, who possesses the [Transfer] skill, meets with Electra, the wielder of [Fate Manipulation], and encounters the last Skill Holder, Sephilia.
