I'm Really Not A Nen Exorcist (HxH Fanfic)

Chapter 439: Chapter 439 Too Strong

Ging glanced at Zaina, who was positioned near the tent, from the corner of his eye.

'If there is anyone present who has a chance to escape from here, it would be this woman.'

As the thought crossed his mind, Nen surged beneath Ging's feet.

Boom!

Suddenly, a muffled explosion echoed as if a bomb had gone off beneath the iron ball.

The shockwave that erupted along with the sound lifted the massive iron ball into the air.

In reality, it was Ging who released Nen through his feet, which passed through the iron ball and exploded on the ground.

With the help of the impact force of the explosion of Nen, the iron ball shoot into the air.

Ging then leaped back lightly and kicked the iron ball in mid-air.

The moment the instep of his foot made contact with the iron ball, a surge of Nen separated from the instep of his foot and quickly wrapped around the iron ball.

Clang!

With a kick, the massive iron ball was sent hurtling toward Zaina.

"Be careful, he can teleport to the iron ball!"

Upon seeing this, Miro shouted, warning Zaina as fast as he could. At the same time, he infused his prepared Aura into his voice.

Without any obvious fluctuation in Nen, crescent-shaped blades of Aura followed the sound of his voice, slicing through the rain and racing toward Ging, who was about to land.

The shout served two purposes: to relay crucial information to Zaina and to influence Ging's decision on whether or not to use the same teleportation trick.

Simultaneously, Miro used the sound of his voice to activate his Emission-Type Ability.

[Shape of Sound]

This was Miro's ability, which allowed him to use sound as a medium, attaching his emitted Aura to it to form shapes that could attack enemies.

Since Miro needs to speak when he activates the Shape of Sound, and the resulting Aura Blade couldn't be hidden with In, so...

Before the attack is formed, Miro's Aura will not reveal any presence.

Relying on this ability, Miro's favorite tactic was to casually chat with his target before suddenly slicing them apart with Aura Blade, leaving them in shocked confusion.

'Emission-type, huh?'

Although Ging didn't sense any fluctuation of Nen, he immediately noticed the crescent-shaped Aura Blade that was taking shape and flying low with the sound.

A truly powerful Nen User can always rely on their keen focus to remain aware of every subtle movement in the battlefield.

Of course, Ging was one of the best.

'But not as interesting as the 'instrument' types.'

As the crescent-shaped blades shot toward him like streaks of light, Ging made an evaluation in his heart.

Immediately, before his feet landed on the ground, Ging raised his foot, gently and precisely kicking the crescent-shaped Aura Blade with his toe in a flicking motion.

Whoosh!

The crescent-shaped Aura Blade wasn't destroyed by Ging's kick. Instead, like a soccer ball, it was sent flying back in the opposite direction, tracing a beautiful arc in the air, heading straight toward the ugly, hedgehog-like man named Agathe.

"What…!?"

Seeing his Shape of Sound kicked back toward them, Miro's pupils contracted in disbelief as if witnessing something utterly impossible.

The Aura Blade of the Emission System already possess formidable cutting power, not to mention that his Emission-Type attack also uses sound as a carrier, which can enhance the penetrative force to a certain extent.

Therefore-

In Miro's understanding, there were generally only two outcomes when facing this kind of Emission-Type attack.

One was that the target would be injured or killed by the Aura Blade, and the other was that the target would shatter the incoming Aura Blade with superior defense.

But the scene unfolding before him completely overturned Miro's understanding.

'How… how was this even possible?'

There was no time for Miro to think further, as the Aura Blade had already reached Agathe.

Agathe's face changed slightly, and the five fingers of his hastily raised right hand turned into sharp spikes, intercepting the crescent-shaped Aura Blade in midair.

The moment the two collided, intense sparks flew, accompanied by a sharp screeching sound.

At the same time…

Zaina leaped to the side, quickly moving out of the path of the flying iron ball.

Even without Miro's reminder, she would never have chosen to confront the iron ball head-on.

As she avoided the iron ball, Zaina activated her Transmutation-Type invisibility ability, vanishing into the rain as her curvaceous figure blended seamlessly with the downpour, becoming nothing more than a faint silhouette.

However, just as her figure melded into the rain, the iron ball, which was supposed to pass her by, suddenly exploded midair.

It looked as if a bomb had been planted inside the iron ball, timed to detonate at the perfect moment, right in front of Zaina.

In an instant-

The violent shockwave from the explosion dispersed the surrounding rain and sent shattered pieces of the iron ball hurtling toward Zaina like a torrential downpour.

The shards of iron were infused with Ging's Nen, making them dangerous projectiles with considerable attack power.

Caught off guard, Zaina was struck by the incoming shards before she could even make a sound. Her body was forced out of its invisible state. She flew backwards and fell heavily to the ground, where she lay motionless.

Moses, who had been watching the battle, witnessed this scene.

He had been trying to figure out how Ging had managed to kick back Miro's Emission-Type Aura Blade, but was then startled by the sudden explosion of the iron ball.

'So cunning…'

Moses took a quick glance at Zaina, who had just met a tragic end, and felt a shudder run through him. He suspected the explosion had been a backup plan Ging had set in motion earlier.

However, the truly terrifying part wasn't the trap itself, but the fact that while Ging is performing the delicate operation of kicking back the Aura Blade, he can also control the iron ball to explode at the best time.

It was a flawless blend of precision and efficiency, with not a single ounce of Nen wasted, a masterful display of technique.

Moses's eyes gleamed as he focused intently on the battlefield.

Agathe used his long, sharp right hand to block the Aura Blade.

Sparks continued to fly, and eventually, the crescent-shaped Aura Blade was deflected into the sky, disappearing in an instant.

At that very moment, Ging appeared at Agathe's side.

But just as Ging revealed himself, Andre, the codenamed Wolf, who radiated a fierce and violent Aura, seemed to sense Ging's presence and quickly reacted.

He stepped around to Ging's back, then immediately after, the five fingers of Andre's his right hand gathered together to form a chop, and enveloped with Nen, he stabbed toward Ging's spine.

However, it was as if Ging had eyes on the back of his head. He sidestepped Andre's attack with ease and extended both arms, pushing Andre and Agathe aside.

As Ging waved his hands, the rain falling from the sky clung to the Nen seeping from his fingers. In an instant, the rain was shaped into crescent-like water blades by the Nen, which shot toward Andre and Agathe's chests.

Swish!

At such close range, the water blades pierced straight into their chests, causing two crimson sprays to erupt from their wounds.

Andre and Agathe's eyes widened in shock as they stared at Ging, who stood calmly between them.

From a distance, Miro could hardly contain his astonishment as he witnessed the scene.

For him, it was like...

Facing a monster that cannot be described by common sense!

But what Moses saw was the pinnacle of Nen Skills and absolute mastery over Aura.

Thus-

With Ging's unparalleled control over his Nen, even the enemy's attacks and the torrential rain around them became tools he could manipulate to defeat his foes at precisely the right moment.

'So there's actually such a way to fight...'

Moses's eyes sparkled with intrigue.

This battle seemed like nothing more than a game to Ging...

However, it wasn't that the members of the Erimo Bandit Group were too weak, it was that Ging was simply too strong.
