Chapter 6: 6. News Announcement
After Anna returned to her apartment, she browsed the social media and naturally saw the headlines that Mr. Williams made.
The goods of more than 10 billion were gone overnight.
It was estimated that Mr. Williams were going crazy with anger.
She looked at the list of the goods and realized why it was so much. Mr. Williams had a batch of newly produced medicine that was very effective on open wound. It could create a soft seal on the surface, which would help to ease the pain and stop bleeding but would not contaminate the wounds.
The medicine had just been approved but the making was very difficult, so each medicine was priced for more than 100,000.
There were more than 10,000 produced and stored in the warehouse for New Year sale and launching.
That alone was already 1 billion.
And then there were also some other expensive products such as solar panels, jewelries, and many others.
No wonder that Mr. Williams was going crazy.
'Even if they know I'm there, they won't be able to connect me with the goods disappearance.'
Anna had already tossed her mother's pass to her space, intending to put it away somewhere that would not make her suspected.
After all, Anna only opened the staffs' door with her mother's pass. And if she was not wrong, that one only recorded the entrance and exit but not who open it.
Why?
Because her cheap father wanted to cut down the cost of maintenance.
When she learned about her father's practice a long time ago, she felt that her father was a true capitalist.
Now, she only felt that he was such a lazy b*stard.
It was strange enough that there hadn't been anyone who bribed the staffs to take out the common pass out and made trouble for Mr. Williams.
Well, her mother was the one who usually go to the field, though.
Mr. Williams just took everything for granted.
"So this medicine is really that good, huh?" Anna searched through the space and felt headache. It seemed that her lazy schedule had to be changed to sorting out these things.
She had no plans to return any of them to her father.
Anyway, letting them rot in her space was fine too.
She finally found the stack of medicine inside the cool refrigerator that was brought into her space. Taking one out, she could see that it was in the shape of syringe. They only needed to press it so that the liquid could come out.
While Anna was tempted to test, she didn't really want to harm herself.
Putting the medicine away, Anna went to eat some instant noodles before busy arranging all the goods inside her space.
Being rich is also very difficult.
Many of the things inside were food. Looking at the stack of rice and flour, Anna felt a bit doubtful.
Which mall stock up so much food like this?
Oh well, it didn't matter.
What made her eyes shone the most was the stack of snacks. Many of them were her favorites.
She felt that her decision to take these away were simply the best.
She still has around one million in the card. Oh right, she should just use up the money so that her cheap father wouldn't be able to freeze it and leave her with nothing.
Or, just change them to cash.
This way, her father couldn't take it away.
With that in mind, Anna came out of the space and looked at the television that was still on. She has just been watching the news about her father, so she forgot to turn it off again after that.
Hehehe, stupid her.
"…The meteorologist has recently informed that there will be heavy rain and storm for more than three days starting tomorrow. Everyone is advised to stock up food and stay in high grounds during this time…"
Heavy rain and storm?
Anna knew that there were occasionally some storms in the city. But this was the first time they were told to move to high grounds aside from stocking food for several days.
For some reasons, she had some bad feelings.
Anna quickly turned off the TV and then walked out of her room. She wanted to stock up some food and also changed all her money to cash, including the money from her other account that her mother opened for her.
The money there was lesser, but it's still money.
She shouldn't waste her resources.
