In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Magic Council: Giant's Mountain... Huh? Where's the mountain?!

After a moment.

Ultear calmed down, but her body still trembled uncontrollably as she was cradled in Ur's arms.

When she saw Gaal approach, a glimmer of fear flashed in her eyes, and she shook even more violently. This guy is the devil! A devil! Go away! Please, go away!!!

Ur felt both heartbroken and helpless, glancing at Gaal and saying, "Gaal, can't you modify that magic of yours?"

"Tenfold pain feedback during healing? That's inhumane."

Gaal shrugged and replied helplessly, "Healing magic is based on the pain experienced by the recipient. Having tenfold pain effectively makes the recipient more sensitive, allowing them to pinpoint where the problem lies, enabling instant healing.

Otherwise, if some areas aren't so severely damaged, they might not even notice, and the healing magic won't proactively address it; by the time they realize there's an issue, it'll be too late. Strictly speaking, this is the most effective healing magic. Still, perhaps I should develop another one later."

Ur looked helpless, recalling the pain when treating a broken leg, feeling even more sympathy for her daughter.

At that moment, a Dragonite descended from the sky.

In the cable car cabin behind them, Lyon was staring at the mother and daughter duo in surprise: "It seems like..."

Gildarts approached and looked at Ur, stating, "Everything's resolved. Where do we head next? How about visiting Fairy Tail?"

Ur held onto Ultear, a bit hesitant, saying, "Thank you. I..."

Ur had initially planned to return to the Extreme North Snow Mountain, but now...

Gaal spoke up, "I suggest you all come back with us. The Grimoire Heart won't just let this go. The next long while will be dangerous. We need to return quickly and recall all the guild members abroad."

Gildarts frowned slightly, asking, "Is that really necessary? Those dark guild members wouldn't dare show themselves openly."

Gaal shook his head, his expression serious, "That's true for you and me. Grimoire Heart is, after all, the strongest dark guild in the Baram Alliance. They have countless direct and affiliated dark guilds under their command. Having suffered such a heavy loss, they definitely won't let it slide. We're fine, but the other mages in the guild might easily run into trouble when encountering those dark guild members."

Gildarts frowned deeply and remarked, "Looking at it this way, it's quite troublesome."

Nearly all famous dark guilds on the Ishgar Continent are controlled by the Baram Alliance.

As the strongest dark guild in the Baram Alliance, Grimoire Heart controls at least a third of the dark guilds on the Ishgar Continent.

Though these guilds pose little threat to him and Gaal, the other members of Fairy Tail do not possess such strength.

If they go out and are surrounded by the dark guilds, it's a dead end.

Gildarts rarely felt a situation was tricky.

It felt great to fight, but the consequences aren't so easily resolved.

Ur's face flashed with guilt as she said, "I'll go back with you guys. That way, even if they attack, I can contribute to the fight. After all, this matter was started by me."

Gaal smiled and said, "It's fine, no need to worry. Even without you, we would eventually run into those guys. Don't worry, they won't make it through. Fairy Tail isn't to be underestimated. It'll just take a long time; let's see who gives in first. Just come back with us first; once we resolve this matter, we can plan further."

Seeing this, Ur had no objections and agreed.

She carried Ultear and walked into the cable car cabin drawn by Dragonite.

Gildarts rubbed his chin and asked, "How do you plan to deal with them? Have any thoughts yet?"

Gaal shook his head, replying, "It's just a matter of using force when necessary. The guild has the old man stationed here. If Grimoire Heart targets our guild members or other guilds within the Fiore Kingdom and pressures us... Then we will attack, sweeping through the dark guilds on the Ishgar Continent.

If we can't deal with Grimoire Heart, we can at least handle those subordinate guilds; it just depends on who breaks down first. Moreover, Grimoire Heart has always been quite mysterious. We've gathered plenty of intelligence from this encounter. If it comes down to a real fight, we'll expose everything."

Gildarts clicked his tongue and praised, "You're still quite cunning. I didn't misjudge you. Now let's keep Cana away from you."

Gaal shot him a glare, saying, "Perverted daughter complex."

And with that, he slipped into the cable car cabin, commanding Dragonite to take off.

Gildarts exploded in anger, shouting, "Hey! What did you just say?! Stop right there!"

——

Ishgar Continent, Western Region.

The Magic Council's floating ship hovered in a certain area of the west.

After a moment.

Makarov suddenly flew up from the ground and entered the magic floating ship.

The magic floating ship restarted, heading westward.

Inside the ship, Makarov spotted a few familiar faces: "Wolfheim, Bob, Yoru, you're all here. What exactly happened? Why the rush?"

Wolfheim, a small old man and a longtime friend of Makarov, who was a member of the Magic Council, spoke up saying, "You're closer; didn't you sense that intense magical power?"

Makarov furrowed his brow and asked, "Magical power? You mean that recent earthquake was caused by some immense magical power?"

Bob, the president of the Blue Pegasus guild, who resembled a stout middle-aged man, replied, "It's said to be coming from the Giant's Mountain range. Dark guilds might be researching some secret weapon. So the council urgently enlisted powerful mages from nearby kingdoms to investigate."

Makarov was taken aback and said, "So that's what it is. The Giant's Mountain range... so far away; no wonder I didn't feel anything."

Wolfheim, face turned worried, "If dark guilds really are developing something dangerous, that would be bad. According to the council's monitoring equipment, the peak magical energy at the center of the Giant's Mountain range has already exceeded five hundred and fifty million; it's nearly akin to a small-scale magical spirit force."

Makarov's expression hardened: "That's outrageous. That definitely needs thorough investigation."

The magical spirit force is the ultimate weapon of the council, capable of intimidating the entire magical realm, preventing other continents from daring to instigate wars; yet dark guilds have managed to produce such a thing?

That would certainly be a huge problem.

With heavy hearts, the group boarded the magic airship and sped towards the Giant's Mountain range.

Half a day later.

The magic floating ship came to a halt.

By now, the sky had darkened, but thankfully the moon and the starlight illuminated the surroundings, yet everyone looked somewhat confused.

On the deck of the floating ship.

Each person held a map, continuously comparing it with the terrain below.

"Is this positioning really accurate?"

"It's definitely right. It's this!"

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely."

"But... where's the mountain?"

"Isn't this just a sea???"
