Currently, Morin's use of tools consumes a certain amount of nen and aura.

For single-use items, such as the Translation Konjac, which are consumed once and provide lasting effects, this isn't a significant concern. However, tools like the Gourmet Tablecloth, used daily, or the Universal Door Sticker Door Sticker, which requires recurring use, can be quite troublesome due to the constant nen consumption.

Morin's plan was to rely on Restrictions and Vows to minimize energy consumption.

What Are Restrictions and Vows?

Restrictions and Vows are a way to enhance nen abilities.

By setting rules, making an internal vow, and adhering to it, the nen user can greatly amplify their power and effects. The stricter and more challenging the rule, the stronger the resulting abilities become.

If regular nen abilities are akin to addition, then those enhanced by Restrictions and Vows are multiplication—a significant power boost.

However, this method is a double-edged sword. If the vow is broken, the user risks backlash, which could result in losing their nen, or, in severe cases, death or fates worse than death.

Thus, formulating Restrictions and Vows requires extreme caution.

For Morin, the knowledge he retained about Doraemon's vast array of gadgets became a crucial asset in shaping his Restrictions and Vows.

Morin's Rule:

"I vow: Within one minute of drawing a tool, I must fully understand its usage and master its application. If I fail, for every second that passes beyond the minute, the nen and aura consumption of using that tool will increase exponentially!"

This rule capitalized on Morin's unique knowledge from his previous life, which allowed him to recognize Doraemon's tools almost instantly. Without such knowledge, this would have been a severe restriction.

For someone like Morin, who can draw completely random tools—from something as innocuous as a Bamboo Copter to something as destructive as a Super Bomb—understanding their use within a minute could have been an impossible task.

However, Morin's retained knowledge meant he could effortlessly identify a tool's purpose and usage. The restriction was therefore tailored to suit his abilities while bypassing its full difficulty.

One minute also served as a safety net, considering that some tools, like the Universal Door Sticker, might closely resemble others (e.g., the Anywhere Door), requiring a moment of careful distinction.

In essence, Morin had managed to exploit a loophole—a "small cheat" within the nen system.

If one considers how strict and systematic nen abilities are, this retained knowledge itself is an anomaly. Perhaps Morin's very presence in this world was a kind of bug.

Once Morin finalized this Restriction and Vow, the next step was to master it. He also fine-tuned the related details of his ability to ensure it was foolproof.

Soon, faint nen fluctuations and shimmering aura began to emanate from his body. Time passed steadily as Morin and the others focused on their training.

When Morin finally opened his eyes, he saw through the door sticker that night had already fallen.

"It's already this late?"

Stretching lazily, he stood up, joy evident on his face.

"The Restriction and Vow... succeeded!"

From now on, new tools would no longer be a burden when it came to nen and aura consumption.

Of course, this primarily applied to tools with moderate effects. For overpowered gadgets—like the Wish Granting Notebook, Timer, or Time Machine, which dealt with causality and time—the energy requirements were still unpredictable.

Regardless, Morin was thrilled. His next priority would be increasing his nen capacity and overall strength to handle even greater tools.

Looking around, Morin noticed that Uvogin and the others weren't present.

"Where did they go?"

"When night fell, they saw you were still training, so they decided not to disturb you and went back first," Machi explained, her eyes quietly observing him.

"Is something wrong? Do I have something on my face?" Morin asked, puzzled by her gaze.

"Are you not hungry after training all day?" she replied.

"Hungry?" Morin laughed, pulling out the Gourmet Tablecloth. With practiced ease, he summoned a feast—an array of dishes and a pot of soup.

"Perfect. The energy cost is now negligible!"
