Chapter 11: Chapter 11: The Test of Patience
Author's Note (Chapter 11)
Hey there, dear readers!
I know some of you might be wondering, "When will Kael stop chilling and start wrecking things?" Well, I hear you! Right now, Kael is in a bit of a peace phase. After all, he's dealing with gods, family reunions, and wedding preparations — so let's wait a bit, shall we?
But don't worry! This slow buildup is intentional. After Chapter 15, once the marriage ordeals are over, Kael will fully step into action mode. The multiverse isn't going to stay quiet for long, and Kael will soon have to show what he's truly capable of.
As for the question:
"Will Kael fight Thor or Loki?"
The answer is — YES. But... you'll need to be a little patient. I promise, when those moments come, it will be worth the wait.
So, hang in there! Enjoy the calm before the storm. The Void's Chosen isn't the type to stay idle for long. 😉
Until next time! —Blank56666

Hela's smile hadn't left her face since we arrived in Asgard. It was rare to see her like this — relaxed, even happy. I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Maybe I had something to do with that.
As we sat in her chambers, she turned to me, her expression softening.
Hela: "Kael... thank you. I don't say this often, but you've done more for me than anyone else ever has."
Kael: "You don't need to thank me. It's what... partners do."
Her gaze lingered on me, and she took a step closer. There was something different in her eyes — a warmth I hadn't seen before. Her usual cold demeanor melted away, replaced by something more human.
As she approached, my heart started racing.
Kael (internal monologue):
Oh boy... am I about to get my first kiss? I was a virgin in both of my lives. Is this finally happening?
She stopped inches away from me, her breath soft against my cheek. I could feel the tension in the air, the anticipation.
And then — she leaned in.
Panic kicked in.
Kael: "Wait! Hela... maybe we shouldn't."
Her eyes widened slightly, confusion flashing across her face.
Kael: "Let's wait until we're married."
Hela: "We're already engaged. What difference does it make?"
Kael: "I know. But... it just feels right to wait."
She stared at me for a long moment, her expression unreadable. Then, to my surprise, she chuckled softly.
Hela: "You passed."
Kael: "Uh... what?"
Hela: "Nothing. Let's rest for now."
Before I could respond, she swept me off my feet — literally. She carried me to the bed in a princess carry and gently laid me down.
Kael: "Hey! That's supposed to be my move!"
Hela smirked. "Too slow."
We both lay there, staring at the ceiling, lost in our own thoughts.
Meanwhile, in the Grand Hall...
Frigg paced the room, her gown billowing behind her. Her expression was one of quiet determination.
Frigg: "Odin, we need to begin the wedding preparations."
Odin glanced up from a scroll, a smug smile on his face.
Odin: "Already done, my love. You won't find a single flaw in my plans."
Frigg raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Care to share your list with me?"
With a wave of his hand, Odin summoned a glowing list that floated in the air. Frigg scanned it briefly, then crossed her arms.
Frigg: "You call this preparation? Odin, this is a disaster waiting to happen."
Odin: "Nonsense! Everything is perfect."
Frigg narrowed her eyes.
Frigg: "Sit down. You're about to get the longest lecture of your life."
Odin sighed. "Yes, dear..."
Elsewhere, in a quiet courtyard...
Thor and Loki sat side by side on a stone bench, both deep in thought. The soft rustle of leaves and the distant hum of Asgard's bustling streets filled the silence between them.
Thor: "Two elder sisters. Never in my life did I imagine that."
Loki: "Hela was one shock. But now, there's another one out there in the cosmos somewhere."
Thor chuckled, shaking his head. "And the mate of my sister. A mortal, no less."
Loki smirked. "He must have something special about him to win her over."
Thor: "Or he's just insane."
Loki's smirk grew wider. "Perhaps both."
Thor rubbed his hands together, staring at the horizon. His expression grew somber, the weight of recent events pressing heavily on his broad shoulders.
Thor: "Do you think she'll ever forgive us? For what we did... what Father did?"
Loki's gaze darkened, a shadow passing over his face. "From what Father said, and from my own understanding, one thing is clear: forgiveness isn't Hela's way. But perhaps, in time, we can earn her respect."
Thor nodded slowly, his eyes distant. "We have a lot to make up for."
The two brothers sat in silence, the weight of their shared history hanging between them like an unspoken truth. The quiet courtyard seemed to echo with memories of the past — battles fought, mistakes made, and the unyielding bonds of family.
