Well... things just got interesting. I knew there was a good chance I would become Santa tonight, but activating a system and it being one related to Santa Claus was not something I saw coming.
But this was only a good thing. I know systems from the many fanfics I read in my past life, and while some can be a pain to deal with others barely interfere and sometimes its not the system itself that give you power, but how you use what has been provided.
So I pick up the suit. Meanwhile Charlie call out to me and points to a ladder the just appeared.
"Hang on Charlie I'm just picking up this close don't climb up just yet."
Charlie didn't listen and I rush up the ladder after him
"Charlie what did I say... wow"
There in front of us was a bright red sleigh with golden trims and in front were eight reindeer all in harnesses with silver bells attach. It was truly a magical site.
I climb into the sleigh after Charlie and look around noticing reins and a whip on the floor.
"Dad this is Santa's sleigh right?"
" I think so Charlie"
"Do you think the reindeer will listen to us?
"Only one way to find out" I pick up the reins and try to get the reindeer to move, but they don't listen.
"Maybe you need to call them out"
... It wouldn't hurt to try. So I pick up the whip and with a creak I command
"Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer and Vixen! On Comet, on Cupid, on Donder and Blitzen!"
And we're off. The reindeer hovered off the roof and like a roller-coaster they launch forward. My house disappears from view as we soar through the sky.
"Dad this is incredible"
"Yes it is Charlie"
Our flight was brief as we land on the house.
"Well Charlie I guess this is the moment of truth"

I take a deep breath and begin to put on the suit. Once I tie the sash I hear a bell chime

"how do I look nice?" I ask Charlie once I completely finish reading the information. It would seem that for now my powers and items were limited, but that would change as time passes.
" you look great dad although you are missing the beard."
"fair alright lets get this show on the road" I said as I grab the sack and immediately it rises into the air as if it was a balloon and takes me toward the chimney. As it lowers I hold my breath as my feet enter the chimney and the rest of my body follows. Once I'm completely through I breath out and realize I'm inside the house. It was a weird feeling as if someone just pressed you between two mattresses and slowly pulled you out.
"that's going to take some getting used to"
I proceeded toward the tree and deposited the gifts. And I turn to the table to grab a cookie I heard the growl of a dog. Remembering the scene from the film I didn't even bother turning around and just ran to the chimney.
"Go" I commanded the bag and it pulled me up the chimney.
"Wow dad that looked so cool"
"Thanks Charlie, but we should get out of here" I said as I climb back into the sleigh and grab the reins commanding the reindeer to move.
As we lifted off the roof I hear another bell chime.
