Chapter 54: Chapter 52: Kurokai fullfilled his dreams again.
Kurokai looked at all of his classmates training vigorously in silence, they were all being guided by a respectable teacher, especially Midoriya who was directly exchanging punches with All Might using full crawling he just learned, his rate of improvement was much faster than in the series as now he was being personally trained by All Might physically.
Yes everyone was improving and creating their ultimate moves, everyone except him.
The only advice he received.
Was to keep increasing the weight he could lift using his quirk.
So how was he supposed to tell them, that the reason his telekinesis power increased was because of the increase in his cursed energy reserve?
'Forget it, if they ask I'll just show them red or blue and say it is my new ultimate move.'
Kurokai yarned and raised another big rock using his quirk.
"What do you think? Should I create more?", Hero Cementos asked in a hesitant voice, looking at the 4 massive boulders hanging above Kurokai's head.
"I don't think the place is big enough for anymore.", Kurokai replied plainly, pointing at the roof above.
Hero Cementos scratched his head in wonder, then turned to help other students.
Well, it wasn't like his training was entirely useless.
Kurokai hid his hand and used Idle Transfiguration on it, in no time it became similar to Kirishima's hardening quirk.
Yes in the meantime, he has tested the power on every student of class 1-A.
The results were as expected, he couldn't copy Midoriya's OFA as it isn't a physical characteristic.
Neither was he able to make ice and fire like Todoroki, Jogo's power is a different category.
Though he could create an extra tail like Ojiro and many hands like Shoji.
He could even copy Jiro's jack ears but without the sound attack, which made it quite useless.
But overall it still didn't make sense to him.
Most quirks are technically a physical part of the body.
So he in a sense should be able to copy Bakugo's and Todoroki's quirk.
Since the explosion and ice/fire should based on their physical bodies.
Perhaps if he completely changed his DNA to their's he would be able to accomplish it.
But he didn't want to do that.
Changing his entire outer appearance just to gain one ability seemed like a bad trade unless he wanted to do some undercover operation and put the blame on someone else.
'In the end, it's a matter of more and more trial and errors.'
Perhaps one day he will be able to perfect a body with the ability to use all quirks seamlessly.
.....Or he could just copy Shigaraki after his transformation.
'Second option it is.'
Kurokai decided instantly.
He was not a genius or something and didn't believe he could miraculously integrate several quirks together like the doctor did with his decades of experience.
Why bother delving into the unknown when someone has already lightened up the path ahead?
"Kurokai how is your training coming along?"
Hearing the familiar voice, he turned to face Hero Midnight who suddenly arrived.
"I think it's okay?"
He answered in an ambiguous tone looking at the massive rocks levitating above him.
"How long do you think you can keep holding them up?"
'Like? Forever?'
His cursed energy recovery was faster than what he needed to keep holding them up.
But he couldn't say that.
"An hour or two maybe?"
If he did then how would he show any progress? he needs to show some results with all the training they will be doing before the provision exam.
"An hour or two...", Hero Midnight repeated in wonder, looking at the massive floating rocks.
She had to admit it.
His quirk made her feel a little jealous.
But it was only for a fleeting moment.
Shaking her head she made her way towards him.
"We were thinking about your power and how to improve it."
Kurokai looked at her in interest.
"But first we need to check something....."
She pointed at a small nearby rock.
"You can lift it up yes?"
The rock instantly floated in the air.
"Ok put it down."
The rock fell down.
"Now try and raise it again, but this time instead of targeting the rock, try to change gravity."
Kurokai paused and looked at her.
"What if, with your telekinesis, you could manipulate forces instead of just objects?"
She raised her hand and pointed at the rock.
"I can try..."
Narrowing his eyes he stared deeply at the unmoving rock.
He tried hard, inputting more and more cursed energy, making the atmosphere around him tremble.
Just when he thought it was useless.
He sensed something new, something he hadn't sensed before.
He raised his hand towards the rock for better control.
And without directly moving the rock, it floated in the air.
But unfortunately.
It wasn't really worth the cost.
It's not like it consumed too much-cursed energy, that's not the issue.
His original Telekenisis ability itself was actually weak, and no matter how much-cursed energy he inputted, it could not achieve a 'qualitative' growth.
After using the power he could tell, that the limit to his telekinesis was destined from the start.
He was only increasing the distance in the second dimension, unable to transition from 2d to 3d.
But it seems someone hasn't given up on him.
A soft sensation suddenly pressed against Kurokai's back catching him off guard.
'Holy Shit!'
Kurokai almost lost focus, dropping the rock.
But then.
"Concentrate."
Midnight's serious voice entered his ears.
'Oh, I am concentrating.....but not on the rock...'
With a solemn look on his face, he managed to stop the rock.
"Just like that keep holding it up."
Midnight suddenly grabbed his outstretched hand and placed an arm around his waist.
Feeling the soft and warm sensation, Kurokai blinked twice before saying.
"Teacher is this not sexual harassment?"
"Why are you feeling excited?"
She gave him a devilish grin, then said solemnly.
"I have learned it from my friends with psychic powers, they said it was the best was to focus your mind and practice."
'Well, it's not working.'
"I think it's working."
Kurokai replied solemnly, slowly raising the rock while also quietly moving his body back to get a better feel from Midnight's bazookas.
It felt wonderful.
It felt awesome.
It felt as if this was all he ever wanted in life.
"It seems to be working out, now try without my support."
Midnight said and slowly backed off from Kurokai.
But as soon as she did, the rock instantly by several steps.
"Sensei I need more help."
"Hm?"
She went back to support him, and the rock started rising again.
"Sensei I would like to meet your friends."
"Oh, why?"
"Because I think they are wonderful human beings."
Midnight gave him a doubtful look.
Unfortunately for him, after some time passed and he kept repeating the same thing, it became clear to her what he was trying to do.
After all, she was a fully grown adult.
But for some reason.
She actually didn't mind it much.
But that didn't mean she was going to let him go.
"You're not trying to take advantage of the situation are you?"
"Of course not."
"Are you sure this is helping?"
"Definitely!"
"Alright then."
Hero Midnight suddenly separated from him and called Eraser Head over.
"Teacher, what are you thinking?", A terrible premonition hit Kurokai.
"Of course, I'll have Eraser Head take my place next."
"I'd rather die."
She looked at him with narrowed eyes.
"Why? Wasn't it helpful? To improve your focus?"
"Tsk."
Kurokai visibly clicked his tongue, since the little trick was caught, he felt no need to continue acting.
"So you were pretending before? That's not good student trying to take advantage of you teacher---"
"Advantage? Seriously? You're twice my age! If anything it was you an adult making a move on a minor!"
He suddenly stood up and pointed straight at her.
"What?!"
She was stunned by his sudden retort.
Which when she thought about it, actually made a little sense.
But she couldn't possibly admit it.
Hero Midnight hid the small blush that appeared on her face and looked at him with a ferocious expression.
Just when she was about to attack.
"Kurokai? Midnight? What happened?"
Aizawa suddenly appeared before them.
Seeing him, Midnight calmed down, but before she could say anything, Kurokai suddenly stood behind Eraser and pointed at her with a wronged look.
"Teacher she tried to take advantage of me! A minor! I need justice!"
His shamelessness dumbfounded her.
But instead of questioning Midnight, Eraser Head turned back and faced Kurokai with a calm look.
"Stop messing around Kurokai, everyone is working hard, but you're still playing around."
He stared at him with serious eyes, making Kurokai stop pointing at Hero Midnight.
"Look at them they have all improved, some even created their ultimate move."
Aizawa said in a loud voice attracting other's attention.
"Aizawa kun....", All Might said in a low voice but didn't go forward to stop him.
"This is not a place to play games, your careless attitude would one day end up costing someone their life."
Aizawa shook his head in disappointment.
"If you don't change your attitude, then it will be better for you to drop out."
Several students exclaimed at the same time.
"That....sensei..."
"No way....."
Many of them looked at Kuroaki with worried looks, some remained silent and some didn't care.
Hero Ectoplasma scratched his head and Hero Cementos remained silent.
"If you simply want to mess around, then stop wasting Midnight's time, there are better, more devoted students she should spend it on."
"In the future you all might need to face Mechamaru, at that time there won't be a second chance."
Giving him one last look, Eraser Head turned around and started walking away.
But suddenly.
A sudden light appeared behind him, making him stop.
And it wasn't just him.
Everyone present stared at Kurokai with wide eyes.
Seeing everyone's reaction, Eraser Head suddenly smirked and slowly turned back around.
There was a red and a blue ball of light gathered above Kurokai's palm.
He was familiar with the red one, he had seen him use it before at the battle.
But the blue one.
'He must have been working hard to make it.'
Aizawa could sense it, the terrible and completely opposite powers hidden inside the two light sources.
"Thats! You're really controlling forces!"
Hero Midnight exclaimed in an excited voice.
Eraser Head's smile became wider listening to her words.
This student of his was a little crooked but he was nonetheless hard working.
"It seems you weren't wasting your time after all---"
"Sensei let me show you an ultimate technique."
Krokai's eyes met with Aizawa making him feel something was off.
Then under everyone's incredous gaze, Kurokai brought the red and blue source of light together.
"No wait stop!"
Hero Midnight, the only one who knew what he was trying to do shouted in a loud voice attracting everyone's attention.
"You're trying to combine two opposite forces! It's impossible! Kurokai! Stop!"
Her words fell deaf to Kurokai's ears.
Seeing the scene she gritted her teeth and shouted at Hero Cementos.
"Create a wall! Now!"
Cementos didn't ask questions and quickly placed his hand on the ground creating a wall around Kurokai, protecting the students.
All Might appeared in front of the students, ready to save them at a moment's notice.
Only Aizawa remained in place, staring intently at Kurokai
"Aizawa move back!"
Midnight warned in a loud voice.
"After teaching you, I have come to understand one thing Kurokai."
Eraser Head continued in a calm voice.
"You never do something you aren't 100% confident about."
"So stop with the act and do it already."
Kurokai grinned and the red and blue instantly combined in one, giving birth to purple.
"Ultimate Technique: Hollow Purple."
The walls created by Cementos instantly disintegrated, under Kurokai's control hollow purple spun around and headed straight for the giant rocks floating in the sky.
And as soon as they collided, there was no loud explosion nor any crazy fireworks.
Everything which came in Hollow Purple's path, simply disintegrated into nothingness.
They all looked at the scene with dazed eyes.
"Teacher....."
Aizawa looked back at Kurokai.
"What's Mechamaru?"
Kurokai's wide smile entered his vision.
"Can he take a Hollow Purple?"
Aizawa clenched his fists in excitement.
