In The Apocalypse With My Sacred Dimension System

Chapter 12: Should I Recruit Someone?

Theodore was a complete beginner in cooking, luckily they were taught how to cook for beginners in this class.

Throughout this study session Theodore was busy thinking about whether or not to say something to Lorelei. It was rare for Theodore to meet someone he knew in his past life.

Especially now that the person in front of Theodore was Lorelei who would gain the power of fire magic in the future.

But, if Theodore did want to invite Lorelei to join him, he still hadn't thought of forming a group when the Apocalypse came.

"Should I keep her close to me?" Theodore's mind was thinking hard at the moment.

Until Theodore was unconsciously left alone there, causing Lorelei to come up to him to inquire about his condition.

"Is there something wrong with you?" asked Lorelei quite worried when she saw Theodore's face look pale.

Honestly, Lorelei knew who Theodore was because she had investigated the person who had caused such a stir in their class a while ago.

Meanwhile, Theodore himself was surprised when he heard Lorelei's soft voice near him.

"Oh my! How did you get here?" Theodore took a step back from Lorelei.

"You looked pale so I came to check on you." Lorelei tilted her head in confusion.

Theodore laughed awkwardly, "I'm fine," Theodore replied, then cleared his throat softly.

After thinking about it further Theodore decided to approach Lorelei, he thought it would be good if he had a friend to rely on during the apocalypse.

"Since you're here, can I ask you something?" Theodore continued later.

There was actually no reason for Theodore to be nervous at the moment, considering how he had always used his handsome face to attract many girls.

What made Theodore a little nervous at the moment was the fact that his current interlocutor was someone who had killed many people with his amazing fire magic.

Theodore had to remind himself several times that the current Lorelei had not yet become that merciless fire witch.

"Is there anything you didn't understand during the class?" asked Lorelei feeling quite curious about what Theodore would ask her.

"You can say it like that, so can I meet you outside of class?" Theodore smiled warmly as he said that.

"Sure, I don't mind. Give me your number and I'll call you later," Lorelei replied as she gave Theodore her smartphone.

Theodore was quite impressed when Lorelei took the initiative to give him her cell phone, even though he was the one who wanted to ask for her number.

Theodore happily typed in his number on Lorelei's smartphone, then handed it back to Lorelei.

"Be sure to call me," Theodore said and then waved his hand and waltzed out of the room.

Martha would surely find out about this and make fun of Theodore when she got home.

How could Theodore have known that he would meet someone as powerful as Lorelei here.

Now that Theodore was bothered by the fact that he had to think about forming a group, he was still hesitant about this.

But, Theodore remembered that in the apocalypse there would be many humans who could awaken powers, be it magic or superpowers.

And there are many raid groups formed by people who have great power, not only to exterminate zombies but also to kill fellow humans who disturb them.

Actually Theodore didn't intend to create a group like this because he just wanted to enjoy a quiet life when the apocalypse came.

It was enough for Theodore to suffer for about two years when the apocalypse came, he didn't want to make his life more complicated just because he made enemies when forming his own group.

Given that Theodore was already in the mall, he chose to wander around a bit to see what he could buy here.

One thing that Theodore remembered was that he needed something like a blanket, there would be times when he was outside the base later and needed something like a blanket or a clean towel.

Actually Theodore would also need clothes, but considering that he had a lot at home left over from his branded clothes that he gave to Luke to sell.

For now it seemed like Theodore only saw a few blankets and towels. Theodore went down to the second floor and started looking for his needs.

As was his habit lately, Theodore bought a lot of things, requiring about 10 trolleys to accommodate his purchases.

Seeing Theodore's large purchases, a manager came to monitor, not wanting anything bad to happen.

When the manager saw who was making these large purchases, he was surprised to see that it was Theodore.

"Young Master, why didn't you tell us you were coming, how can I help you?" The manager politely greeted Theodore.

"I just happened to drop by. Then can you do me a favour?" Theodore replied flatly, not too happy about the man's arrival.

At first the manager had only offered his help as a pleasantry, not expecting Theodore to actually ask for his help.

"Just tell me, young master," the manager replied while breaking out in a cold sweat, hoping Theodore wouldn't make him do anything difficult.

"Would you mind keeping my things first, there's still something I need to buy. And if you don't mind, can you send all my things home later?" With his annoying face, Theodore turned to the manager.

The corner of the manager's lips twitched at Theodore's request, but how could he say no to someone like Theodore.

"You can leave it to me, I'll do it for you, young master." With a forced smile the manager agreed to Theodore's request.

"Thank you," Theodore replied as he gave the money to a cashier.

After finishing his payment Theodore handed his pile of groceries to the poor manager.

As he said before there was still something Theodore wanted to buy, he also needed a lot of shelves and storage containers to separate and organise all his items in the sacred dimension.

This time Theodore went up to the third floor of the mall where the housing items were. It looked like he was going to make another big purchase.

Not only that this time Theodore was followed by the manager who had previously helped him, as if he had finished telling someone to do his assigned task.

"What else do you want to buy, young master?" the manager asked curiously.

Theodore had already bought a lot of things, so what else did he want to find this time.

"I need some sizable shelves, then storage containers of various sizes." Theodore said his needs while thinking of what else he needed.

The manager gulped harshly when he heard what Theodore needed, not expecting that there were still many items he needed.

"Then, I also need some items for gardening. I also need a barrel and a dipper," Theodore continued after he thought that he needed gardening tools.

Theodore also needed a barrel to collect water from the river in his sacred dimension.

With this, Theodore just needs to find solar panels, weapons and cars that he can use in the dangerous apocalypse environment.
