Doctor while talking with Kriti said,

"Kriti was Hrithik not resting, I clearly said he needed rest, and why was I informed so late despite his excessive bleeding"

Witira unable to contain her curiosity asked "why? What happened is his condition deteriorating?"

Doctor turned to Witira and asked "I am sorry, but I don't recognize you?" Witira took out her police ID and showing it to Doctor introduced herself "Hello Doctor, My name is Witira Evans, and I'm the officer in charge of Hrithik's case".

"Oh nice to meet you Miss Witira, but I don't think Hrithik is in a position to answer your questions, so I as his Doctor request you to wait for two days for any questioning".

Witira was not happy hearing this and felt it was a mere excuse to delay her interrogation but hiding her suspicions she normally asked "I'm sorry to say something like this, and I know as his doctor you might be concerned about his health but, why now? I mean you could have asked us earlier it's not like the police department would have ignored suggestions of a doctor"

"Madam Witira people are not robots, and they tend to forget things, and I am no different and I would have made this suggestion earlier if I was informed but neither was I informed about this case nor the ongoing investigation"

Doctor explained despite her unhappiness, Not buying Doctor's explanation Witira said "Now that you are informed can you explain what's wrong with Hrithik"

"I have my guesses but to be sure I need some information" saying this doctor turned to kriti and said "Kriti, I would be happy if you could answer some questions of mine"

Kriti straightened her posture as if she was some army personnel ready to accomplish her mission and said "Yes madam Lisa"

"Then kriti how long have been with Hrithik", kriti said "about 8 years"

"Then what is his usual day like", kriti said "It mostly includes things like, studying, playing games mostly outdoor and taking care of little miss"

Witira was irritated and couldn't understand why such questions were being asked but chose say anything.

Lisa asked "Kriti did Hrithik sleep well last night"

Kriti said "He did sleep for an hour or so". Hearing Kriti's answer Lisa seemed to have reached a conclusion and said, "One last question kriti was Hrithik unusually quiet yesterday"

Kriti nodded.

With that Lisa turned to Witira and said "I got my answers Madam Witira it's not like Hrithik's body is not good or something" Witira not letting Lisa complete her words said "Since you said he's not sick, let me have some chat"

Lisa stopped Witira from going forward and said "Please let me complete my sentence, it's not like his body is not good, but it's his mind, it's not good"

Witira couldn't understand Lisa and said "What do you mean?".

Lisa understanding Witira confusion said "Witira did you ever kill someone "

Witira without asking any questions answered truthfully

"Yeah as a police officer it's a part of our duty"

Lisa nodded and said "and were you able to sleep that night"

Witira said "No"

"Witira you knew you have to kill criminals, irrespective of them being good or bad is part and parcel of your duty and despite that, you couldn't sleep on the day of your first encounter then imagine what could Hrithik be going through his mind must be a mess"

Witira for the first time in her life wanted to skip a conversation and said "we will talk about that later but for now answer my question, did you see any scratch marks on Hrithik's body"

Lisa thought for a second and said "Yes I did see some on his arms"

Witira as if hypnotized by something started walking towards Hrithik's room, Lisa and Kriti didn't understand why but stopped Witira and said,"Where are you going Witira?"

Neither of them included honorifics, Witira didn't stop but pushing them and said, "Hrithik has to answer my questions, and I am not leaving before getting my answers" rage in her voice wasn't hidden like before.

Lisa didn't want Witira to disturb Hrithik's rest and said "Witira I know there's something on your mind, but please understand Hrithik is not in a position to answer your questions I gave him Propofol a powerful anesthetic drug, he is not in his senses and even if he admits something it cannot be used as evidence".
