Chapter 171: Chapter 171: Counterattack

Qin Ming led the Lost Boys in an all-out assault on Captain Hook's secondary stronghold. The area was clearly a mining camp, with metal tracks laid out across the ground to help move ore carts.

Under attack, the pirates stationed there quickly counterattacked. They had sheer numbers on their side, and some of the mining carts were even fitted with large crossbows, essentially turning them into makeshift battle tanks.

On top of these moving carts stood Indian spear-throwers, wearing traditional feathered headdresses and wielding Indian spears with frightening accuracy.

An incoming spear struck Qin Ming squarely in the chest, sending him staggering backward.

What the hell was that?!

Grimacing in pain, Qin Ming yanked the spear from his chest and quickly scanned it with his goggles.

Name: Indian Spear (Hook World – Second Stage)

Type: Consumable (Green Quality)

Attribute 1: Deals 50 fixed damageAttribute 2: Ignores 15 physical defense

Description: No one knows why these stone spears hit so hard—perhaps it's the legendary power of their ancestors?

(Note: Non-certified Nightmare Space equipment; cannot be taken out of this world.)

Fifty fixed damage and ignores defense?! No wonder it pierced me!

The Indian Spear was one of the fabled "Three Great Beginner Consumables"—highly prized items known for their sheer destructive power.

Indian Spear (Hook World) – Powerful ranged attack, capable of instant kills on low-level adventurers.

Shoulder-Mounted Rocket Launcher (Cadillacs and Dinosaurs World) – An explosive powerhouse.

Blood Dripper (Knights of Valour World) – A homing flying blade capable of multiple hits.

These three consumables were the ultimate trump cards for low-level adventurers.

Qin Ming's thoughts were cut short as another spear-wielding pirate leapt out from behind cover with a war cry.

But before he could throw his weapon, Qin Ming hurled a spear of his own. It struck the pirate in the chest, pinning him to a nearby wall.

Without pause, Qin Ming raised his arm and unleashed a massive Sonic Hand Knife, sending a one-meter-wide energy blade slicing through wooden crates and the unfortunate pirates hiding behind them.

Bodies dropped like flies as Qin Ming advanced, Peter Pan's Sword at his waist, and his golden bracers gleaming under the sunlight.

The scene descended into chaos, with pirates scrambling to regroup.

Suddenly, an earth-shattering crash shook the air.

Qin Ming instinctively dove to the side as a massive boulder, the size of a small car, smashed into the ground where he had been standing.

What the hell was that?!

A monstrous roar echoed from the pirate ship.

A three-meter-tall brute, wielding a steel pipe the size of a lamppost, leapt off the deck and crashed onto the pier.

Trailing behind him were three identical female pirates, each wielding curved blades and dressed in matching rogue outfits.

With chilling grins, they fanned out and advanced in unison.

Above them, ropes and wooden gangplanks were flung down from the pirate ship, allowing dozens of pirates to swarm the battlefield.

The counterattack had begun.

Qin Ming's eyes narrowed as he quickly scanned the new arrivals with his goggles:

Qin Ming's heart skipped a beat, but the Lost Boys' main heroes—the original game protagonists—stepped forward boldly.

Ruffio (Twin Daggers) – Leader of the Lost Boys, dual-wielding shortswords with unmatched agility.

Jester (The Clown) – A chaotic fighter with unpredictable attacks.

Dolly (The Candy Bomber) – An oddball who attacks with explosive candy.

Tubby (The Tank) – A rotund brawler specializing in body slams.

Despite being children, these key characters had stats rivaling mid-tier bosses and devastating special attacks.

Ruffio, wielding his Twin Daggers, launched an energy sailboat slash, smashing into the Southern Chieftain and forcing him to retreat a step.

The battlefield erupted into chaotic clashes as both sides fought with brutal intensity.

In the chaos, Qin Ming spotted an opening.

Gripping a thick pirate rope, he swung up onto the gangplank leading to the pirate ship's deck.

His eyes were fixed ahead—Captain Hook's cabin.

I need to see Captain Hook's stats up close. Even if I can't defeat him now, I need intelligence for the final fight.

As he landed gracefully on the deck, the sounds of battle behind him grew muffled.

Alright, Hook… let's see what kind of monster you are.

Sword in hand, Qin Ming advanced cautiously toward the pirate captain's quarters, ready for whatever lay ahead.
