Chapter-72: the other players are looking for little loach

Leishen has hit the ego of the protagonist.

Naturally the protagonist did not have anything to refute from the words that Leishen spoke.

Leishen did not speak about the origin of the protagonist because it is not needed.

If he speaks this then he would expose his secrets.

When Leishen was returning to his dorm he received a message from his ninja shadowkhan.

It is actually a voice recorded that was recorded by a ninja that is following the protagonist.

They would only bring this if there is something important that is happening around the protagonist.

He took out the recorder to listen.

"Hey, why can't I find that pendent that protagonist should have with him?

"I checked his belongs few days ago."

"I searched his house a month ago."

It is the conversation between three people.

Two of them are his class mates that are Grumpy Gu and sloppy Su.

The third person is not known to Leishen.

They are calling the third person as Brother Song.

Leishen did not meet him before.

But he was sure that he should be someone from the group.

Based on their conversation Leishen found that they are trying to get the pendent little loach from the protagonist.

Unfortunately Leishen is a step ahead of them.

These ninja shadowkhan are not very strong but they are good at hiding and carrying out small tasks.

But if they noticed the ninja shadowkhan then they would directly be hunted and they would try to track back to Leishen.

Even then they would not die and they can come back easily as long as Leishen can have enough power.

So he is practically invincible in the early stage.

The biggest drawback is that these ninja cannot fight in middle and later stages.

Also a group of them cannot fight with intermediate level creatures properly.

Leishen with his mental strength can increase their number in quantity.

But the quality is compromise.

Leishen continued to listen to the conversation of those players.

Then he found that they are the one that made a mess out of protagonist's house a month ago to find the pendent.

But there is no useful information.

So he nodded to the ninja to take back the thing and continue to work.

After that he started to practice again.

A Novice Mage's spiritual consciousness will have 1 Stardust inside their stardust they will have 7 stars. 

A Mage must go through a meditative training known more commonly as Cultivation in order to control their stars. 

Once a Novice Mage succeeds in connecting the 7 stars inside their Stardust into a Star Path, they will be able to cast a Novice Magic.

This step is perfectly completed for both lightning element and earth element.

So he can use the basic spells related to lightning element and earth element.

He tried to concentrate on other elements and awaken them.

Strangely a strong force is obstructing him from doing that.

He tried to question the system but the system did not respond as usual.

Based on his inference his soul is not strong enough to break some restrictions of the world.

So if he wants something he has to find a source of that element and try to stimulate through that to gain that element.

But he was sure that he has all the elements in him.

As a Novice Mage's cultivation level increases, their Novice Magic can advance through 3 levels naturally. 

It was mentioned and hinted throughout the series that each Level of magic is twice as strong as the previous level. 

Once a mage reached Level 3, they cannot advance to level 4 naturally. 

Instead the mage will be able to perform Breakthroughs to advance their Element into Star Cloud, also known as a Star Nebula.

Before Leishen has completed the second level and reaching to the third level that made him feel strong.

He did that to both the elements.

In this second month he wanted to reach all the way to the top of the third level.

In order to break through to the fourth level he can only depend on the ways of this world.

There are 3 ways to increase the rate of progress. 

The first and most simple one is with the use of soul vessels, objects that carry the souls of other creatures and multiplies the cultivation of the mage wielding them by a relative amount. 

He has the little loach attached to his wand for that.

But it still needs souls of those monsters to work.

He did not have them right now and he has to buy them with a high price.

The second and most powerful method is by using consumables, either directly or cultivating in temples that actively pump said consumables. 

They can either increase the rate of cultivation or directly promote a level/tier. 

This is the only known method of breaking through into super tier. 

The third and most useful one is through battle. 

As it has been said in the novel, cultivation and experience are needed for rapid increases. 

This is because in addition to accepting magical energies, element(s) in the spiritual universe also accept soul energy and ideas from the wielder themselves. 

These energies and ideas can be created from large scale experiences and ordeals that the mage has gone through.

Once a Mage's Stardust successfully breakthrough into Star Cloud, they are consider a Mid-Tier mage.

Leishen's soul is strong and it can easily cultivate many times faster compared to others.

But it would still take a long time for him to improve.

He don't want to wait that long.

He was sure that the protagonist would get something to improve his power suddenly.

He hindered him many times secretly but never did anything openly.

Now that he took the biggest initial support of the protagonist, the world would give him something to accelerate his growth just like that in plot.

If the protagonist did not become strong many plots would have problems.
