“To survive,” a profound coldness emerged within the depths of his transcendent gaze as his grip on the crowbar tightened. His previous fright was replaced with a chilliness that froze the air around him.

The obtainment of this skill caused the air around Truck-kun to constrict even further as a light blue cloud materialized. It seeped into the lungs of the attacking Night Howlers, freezing their internals and preventing the movement of blood flow. As they momentarily stopped their incessant attacks, Truck-kun’s icy face moved his body into action as he threw up the crowbar and slammed it down on a Night Howler. The frost within its body assisted the force put into the attack as a small crack formed on its head, then all at once, that crack rapidly spread across its entire body.

The Night Howler blasted into countless tiny ice chunks, with its remains clanking against the surrounding brick walls and windows. A few glass panels were broken, but unfortunately for the Night Howlers, damage to the environment was not going to stop Truck-kun’s sudden change in personality and perspective.
“I will survive,” he said coldly, a crimson-red sperm glow flashing past his piercing gaze. “No matter what, I refuse to return to how things once were.”
“Things will change,” the light blue cloud permeating his body erupted with even greater power, fully freezing over the Night Howlers. “And I will change with it. I must change.”

The atmosphere turned several dozen degrees colder as Truck-kun shook off all the frozen Night Howlers and moved swiftly. His figure seamlessly swerved between the Night Howlers, with constant swings reverberating against the thick cobblestone pavement. When he reappeared from the speed stream, nearly fifty Night Howlers simultaneously cracked, and then they shattered!

“System interface?” Truck-kun parroted, his brows furrowing in confusion. Even though he had no idea what that was or even what the voice was, he knew that he was getting stronger every time it sounded out. He liked getting stronger; therefore, he must like this system. Thus, he answered, “Yes, open up this ‘system interface.’”
BLING!
A bright blue and golden light flashed in front of him as an illusory screen materialized from thin air. The more Truck-kun read of it, the more his eyes widened in interest.
