Isekai: The Eight Soul Fragments

Two and a half months had passed since the group had been summoned. All members of the group had made a thorough discussion with the Quisterion King, and Paladia's Knight King. It was decided after thorough discussion to simply let it be handled by Serkyrio's group. Right now, they main group was currently in the borders after having constructed a simple fortress using earth magic.

"Now, as for the planning, we are up against four different kinds of armies. So it's best if we separate into four groups with each of us leading it. Charnet, take your group and support Arlesk this time. Draxus, take part of your group to have them support Remuel's side, we need to equalize the battleforce. That way we can make some bets alright?" Serkyrio was smiling a little as he provided the details of the plan to the other three. The ones sitting on the round table are Serkyrio, Charnet, Wesley, Keimach, Addy, Olivia, Draxus, Matilda, Victorina, Remuel, Harold, Jaquinn, Arlesk, and a person with high levels of information gathering, Andreus Nimrod. Draxus, Arlesk, and Remuel handed over twenty-five gold coins each. Serkyrio placed his bet of twenty-five gold coins while explaning the challenge. "We'll be using the timers of our phones. The fastest one to knock down the army and hero of each invading country will have the leader gain the prize of a hundred gold coins." Seeing the large sum of money facing them, the rest of the group gulped down their saliva. "We'll be handed a solid ten platinum coins for the four of us to provide to the ones who battled by our side. So technically, these ten platinum coins are for each of us. Two platinum coins will be used for the country that we'll use in the future while each of us leaders will get two platinum each. Each of us will have one platinum to share to everyone, while the other platinum coin is placed on the bets as well. So the group that will clear the enemy on their side the fastest will get their leader that huge sum of five platinum coins, expect bonuses if you win." After Serkyrio's explanation, extreme fervor came out from Draxus, Remuel, and Arlesk. In their cases, they would invest it on certain things. "Anyways, with this, everyone has free time right now. So head to your stations and prepare for battle, your timers will begin once you see the banner of the enemy."

Most members had already gone and dispersed. However, Serkyrio, Remuel, Arlesk, and Draxus returned to the Quisterion Kingdom and had a meeting with the king. They invited the knight king and Pantheon to join them in the meeting. The ones that accompanied the knight king are the remainder of his family, the queen and the crown prince. As an alliance has formed between the three groups, each of their family and loved ones had joined them on the newly organized meeting room in the Quisterion castle. It contained four long tables surrounding a large round table in the middle. There are currently three chairs for the discussion, the ones sitting on them are King Oscar, King Xenovitre of the Paladia Kingdom, and Serkyrio. On the long tables, each one had about thirty seats, everyone was allowed to sit wherever they want. Draxus had Olivia, Matilda, Lily, and Julie seat nearby him. The two queens were sitting nearby while talking about their lives as queens. Then there's Prince Oswald and Knight Prince Jyrelt who are talking with Arlesk who is sitting between Hecate and Amber. Remuel was accompanied by Victorina, and the two maids Lynx and Noelle while talking to Ulysses and Pantheon. It was a serious gathering as the meeting finally got to the important parts. "[Display]" A world map was displayed from the table. Each kings examined the map and took a good look on the situation. "Albeit being a large nation, Quisterion is surrounded by four countries. There is Paladia to the south, Luventrion to the south-southeast until southeast, Bazylopia from southeast to east-southeast, and Kitrixia on the east. Kitrixia had joined forces with Luventrion and Bazylopia and now intend to perform a full scale raid to this country. Another country will join them and will attack on different sides Kitrixia will attack from the areas bordering the Mythical Lands while their first ally Omnidaxius, will attack from their border. Each hero has troublesome abilities but I guess we'll match them quite nicely. Draxus will be fighting against the Omnidaxius army and hero on the east, Remuel will face the Kitrixia Empire on the northeast, Arlesk will face those in Luventrion near the southern route, while I face the Bazylopia on the southeast. Each army and hero have considerable power, but I expect you all to completely end them without issue." Draxus, Remuel, and Arlesk, nodded while showing determined smiles. The kings pondered for a bit before asking questions. "I know that you guys are powerful but it's somewhat nerveracking to simply stay in this meeting room the entire time the war is going on." Serkyrio then gave King Oscar the answer to his implied question. "We'll have eagles to fly over the battlefield and have everything recorded in real time. Everything will be displayed in this room and with the items here, you can communicate with our group." The meeting room itself was designed by Remuel and Arlesk. They did the same thing in the castle of Paladia as they could also host a meeting. The Knight King finally raised his hand. "I know this may be a little bit off topic but what will we call your group? Arlesk had mentioned that you guys are currently a nameless organization." Serkyrio smiled a bit before answering King Xenovitre. "Now that I think about it, we're still nameless. Then..." Serkyrio raised one his fingers before giving out a name. "How about, [Preeliance]? This will be the future country name." The kings, and Serkyrio's disciples nodded in response. "With this, the meeting will be ending now. You may remain in this room if you'd like, but use the hand mirrors if you guys are intending to send letters." Serkyrio and the rest had already left the room while the kings, and other royalty members began talking to each other.

"It's quite a big thing huh? We finally get to see how their group fights." The knight king let out his opinion first. "I have seen how Draxus fights, but to see the rest of them in war is going to make them really famous." King Oscar then began explaining the details. The two princes and heroes joined them in the conversation. "Arlesk's fighting style revolves around getting his enemies blinded during the battle. It was using some sort of small cannon and a sword. He uses some weird magic to cause his attacks to poison, and even control the earth itself. I wished to learn what it means to fight against a person that's stronger than a hero." Pantheon let out his words in which the royalty listened while nodding. Ulysses then expressed his feelings on fighting against one of the three disciples of Serkyrio. "I myself have fought against Draxus twice. The first time I fought him, he was using ice magic at crazy levels. He constantly created threats from any direction while clashing blades. He knows how to use swords, claymores, bows, and fighting with gauntlets. Once crystals break, he would take advantage of it and throw all the shards at you with wind magic. It's an overwhelming battle style. On the second time, he used nothing but swords made up from certain abilities that he had used. He brought out electric magic which made him incomprehensively fast, wind which made him untouchable, and ice which made him nearly kill me without much effort. Though it compensated him badly after the battle. I still lost even if I fought with my entire party." The knight king got a weird detail from Ulysses's explanation. "Compensation?" Ulysses nodded but Prince Oswald gave the deeper explanation. "Each disciple uses a certain item set for maximizing every ability they have. In Remuel's case, he has a book called [Amalgam of Destiny]. But since he has mastered it even before he arrived to this world, he was using it without compensation. Arlesk may have also used his special items which I don't have a lot of knowledge about. While Draxus, holds the most burdens in using them. It may lead from sluggishness into losing blood. We still regret the time where he had to cure us from getting poisoned, and he faced the pain for us instead." The atmosphere in the room became a little heavy as the knight prince immediately changed it to avoid the possible feelings of regret. "Nonetheless, to think that the princesses of both our countries fell for that Draxus. He's much more than a knight to us seeing as he would forcefully burden himself for others." The rest of the royalty and the heroes nodded in response. "This war, I hope it will go well."
