Chapter 43: Chapter 5: Emperor War

Angela moved on, her voice now filled with a hint of caution. "There's more, my lord," she said, her concern evident. "The Naein clan has its sights set on the Heavenly Realm, specifically the throne. They aim to start an Emperor War to assert themselves as the new rulers of Heaven and the world."

Zeus's expression grew somber as he absorbed the news. The thought of a power struggle in the celestial realm was a concerning development. "An Emperor War?" he mused, his voice tinged with a mix of annoyance and curiosity. "They dare challenge the established order of heaven."

"I concur," Zeus replied, his eyes narrowing as he considered the implications. "Their ambition to challenge the current ruler is indeed a serious threat. If left unchecked, it may lead to a conflict that can reverberate across both heaven and hell. The balance and order of the cosmic realms hang in the balance. We cannot allow such a catastrophic event to occur."

Zeus chuckled lightly, a hint of amusement flickering in his voice. "Ah, yes, hell," he mused, a knowing smile playing on his lips. "I recall vividly. Hell has already fallen, but not to the Naein clan. It was Kanji who claimed dominion over that realm, wasn't it?"

Angela nodded in agreement, her expression filled with a mix of admiration and curiosity. "Quite fascinating indeed," she opined, her gaze fixed on the horizon. "The fact that someone so young was able to subjugate the forces of hell...it's a clear indication of his remarkable capabilities and untapped potential."

The dread of the long-feared Emperor War had finally become a reality as Sovereigns and rulers from different realms and regions began to prepare for the battles ahead. The skies darkened as the battles drew near, signaling a chaotic struggle filled with bloodshed and disharmony.

Within the realms of light, Makima took in the sight of the angels she had nurtured over the years, all of them like family to her. A warm smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she watched them gather, her heart brimming with joy and a touch of nostalgia.

Makima spoke to the angels, her voice tinged with both concern and hope. "Please, be cautious in the Emperor War," she implored, her eyes betraying her worry. "Ensure your safe return, all of you."

The light realm was teeming with countless angels, and they were not alone. Gods and angelic beings from various realms joined them, their combined numbers reaching into the trillions. The battlefield was set for an epic clash of cosmic proportions.

As the trillions of angels confidently made their way towards the battlefield, Kyuren was already making significant progress, having defeated half of the opposing emperors. However, just as the angels were about to reach their destination, a figure suddenly appeared before them, obstructing their path.

The figure that blocked the angels' path was a 5'11 tall man who had crystallized claws for hands, his eye a deep red, and a lifeless expression, yet his gaze fixated on the approaching angels. Recognized by some as a member of the Naein clan, he suddenly took off, darting towards the army with speed rivaling lightning.

The angels, their voices filled with surprise and recognition, cried out in unison, "It's Kanji Naein!" They could tell instantly that this figure standing before them was a member of the Naein clan, renowned for his substantial power.

As the smoke cleared from the intense struggle of the Emperor War, Kyuren stood there, surrounded by the fallen emperors who had refused to surrender. Their lifeless forms were scattered like broken puppets. The sky above was a grim testament to the slaughter, littered with dead angels and their shattered remains. The once-powerful army of angels had been devastated, their numbers now drastically reduced.

Kyuren looked around at the aftermath, the gravity of the situation heavy in the air. The fallen emperors lying around him were a testament to the brutal battles that had unfolded. Looking up, he saw the sky filled with the horrifying sight of fallen angels, their tattered bodies and ashes scattering across the devastated battlefield. The once formidable army now resembled mere shadows of its former glory, its numbers having suffered a significant and devastating loss.

The gravity of the situation weighed heavily on Makima as she received the devastating news of the Emperor War's outcome. Her eyes turned pale, and tears streamed down her face. Her voice trembled as she expressed her anguish, her words laced with despair, "How...? How did this happen...?"

Makima's trembling voice echoed her pain and disbelief as she struggled to come to terms with the catastrophic turn of events. Her tears poured down her face as she repeated the question, "How...?"

Each word was filled with a mix of sadness and anger, the weight of the war's catastrophic consequences resting heavily on her shoulders.

The light seemed to dim around Makima as she mourned the loss of her angels who had been fighting in the Emperor War. Her tear-streaked face mirrored the turmoil within her soul as she grappled with the immense suffering that had unfolded.

Makima's heart felt like it was sinking into an abyss of despair as she contemplated the multitude of souls she had nurtured, the countless angels she held dear, and who were like family to her. With each passing moment, her mind conjured up images of their shattered bodies, their lives extinguished in the merciless jaws of war. The burden of their absence settled heavily upon her shoulders, its weight seemingly impossible to bear.

In the abode of Omni God, news of the catastrophic aftermath of the Emperor War reached his ears, leaving him stunned. The scope of the loss was unfathomable; it was beyond his comprehension that trillions of angels had been extinguished. While even a single god might struggle with a mere billion angels, conquering ten billion was already considered a noteworthy achievement. The annihilation of trillions of these divine beings appeared to defy all reason, surpassing any conceivable limit.

With an ear-splitting boom, Omni God's voice erupted across every realm, asserting his command. "Seal away Kanji Naein, no matter the cost!" he declared. "Forge alliances, even with the very depths of hell if it is what it takes. Resurrect every trillion angels, even if they return in an incomplete state. Ambush him with 500 gods, all at once!"

His thunderous voice reverberated through the realms, the gravity of his words leaving no room for debate. In his demand to seal away Kanji Naein, Omni God's determination was unflinching. Any deal, no matter how extreme, was viable, even invoking alliances with the forces of the underworld. The resurrection of trillions of angels, even if incomplete, was a risk he was willing to take, and the sheer magnitude of the ambush he sought to orchestrate was overwhelming - he directed 500 gods to attack Kanji at once.

The plan was set in motion as the gathered gods, their powers combined, steeled themselves to face the fearsome Kanji Naein. The tally of gods, angels, and demons grew to encompass the fallen warriors too, swelling their numbers to a formidable 500. The united forces of heaven and hell were now ready to take on their invincible foe, their combined might poised to bring about the downfall of the fearsome member of the Naein clan.

Angela stood in the heavenly realm, her eyes nervously fixed on her father, Zeus. Her heart raced with anticipation, the weight of the impending decision hanging heavily in the air. She knew that a monumental choice was at hand, the significance of which she understood keenly.

Angela gathered her courage and spoke with a mix of concern and determination in her voice. "What are your orders, Father?" she asked, her eyes locking onto his as she sought both guidance and preparation for the crucial directive about to be issued.

With a resolute expression, Zeus met his daughter's gaze. His voice echoed like distant thunder as he issued his command, "Angela, the time has come. We must take action to halt the threat posed by the Naein clan. Our objective is clear - to seal away Kanji Naein and reclaim our rightful place in the heavenly realm."

"Prepare yourselves for the imminent battle," Zeus declared, his eyes now focused on the distance. "Rally the gods, the angels, and the demons. We shall not shirk from giving our all. Unite the might of heaven and hell, and stand ready to face Kanji Naein and the full might of the Naein clan."

A sly smile crept across Angela's face as her father's words rang out. The prospect of unleashing her boundless power on the battlefield brought a glimmer of excitement to her eyes. "Very well, Father," she confirmed, her voice filled with resolve and a touch of relish. "I will rally the angelic forces and prepare for the impending struggle. We shall not hold back in the face of Kanji Naein and the formidable power of the Naein clan."
