Jujutsu Kaisen: Nah, I'd Copy

Chapter 10: Gojo's POV

(Notice: This events are the author's own doing and in no way related to the manga or anime.)

Somewhere else… In Shinjuku

A young man with snow-white hair sat on a pile of rubble which had been a previously tarred road. He looked mockingly as he got up from the rubble he dusted himself before stretching.

The youth was quite handsome. He wore glasses with circle lenses but that did not help him from standing out from the rest of the destroyed scene.

He wore the uniform of Jujutsu Tech which was dark-blue.

"That wasn't much fun." He said. "I thought you were supposed to be a grade 1, but, you aren't even strong."

The cursed spirit turned to his direction. It cocked his head into several directions before letting out an inhuman scream. However, that scream did not sound like one of pain… It was one of annoyance!

It thought, shouldn't this bastard be dead?

The young man was one of the most formidable opponents that existed so it was natural for a Grade 1 to think that of a special grade.

"Well I'm tired of our little game." He said before stretching his hand forward. "I still haven't gotten a souvenir for the first years."

[Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue]

A large orb colored blue suddenly manifested several meters away from the young man. It then started closing the distance between it and the curse by spinning. It attracted the rubble towards it like a magnet but still closed the distance.

The cursed spirit let out a series of unintelligible words before jumping into the sky. Yet, the youth just directed it to the curse. The orb of cursed energy went towards the cursed spirit and completely engulfed it.

Barely a second passed before the technique was cancelled by the young man but the curse was nowhere to be found. It had been exorcised.

"Now that it has been exorcised I need to put the veil down." He said to himself.

A barrier that was invisible to most non-sorcerers. The veil came down as soon as he said that but the young man didn't care about that.

He brought out his phone and began navigating his way to the nearest street that wasn't damaged.

'Oops, people might see me if I don't get out of here quickly." He said to himself.

Suddenly he vanished from the scene of the crime, reappearing at an undamaged place miles away from the rubble. He walked to the closest shop before asking:

"Do you know where the souvenir shop is?"

"This is the souvenir shop. Unfortunately, were sold out." He replied.

"Do you happen to know where another one is?"

"There's one at that direction." The man said pointing towards the place the snow-haired youth was before.

"Thanks." He said and began walking to the train station.

This young man was the heir of the Gojo clan. The only member that was born with the six eyes and then awakened the limitless.

He was the first one in 400 years to have both the limitless and the six eyes both.

His name was Satoru Gojo. He was currently 15 years old and the one who would become the head of the clan kicked the bucket.

"What will I tell Geto? He will probably lecture me if I tell him that the street got decimated even though no one was there."

…(Gojo's imagination)

"Satoru, you should have thought about the casualties. Even if no one was present and everyone was evacuated where would they stay… Remember that Jujutsu sorcery exists to protect the weak. We are supposed to discourage the strong and promote equality."

"I hate that. How come he always talks about protecting the weak? It's their fault for being weak."

He reached the train station and then boarded the train back to Tokyo. The clan preferred it when he was securely guarded and was on a private jet whenever he went somewhere.

However, he preferred taking the train due to the fact that he didn't trust the guards to be strong.

Soon after, he arrived back at Tokyo and made his way back to Jujutsu Tech. It had taken him some hours to locate the curse because he decided to not use his six eye so he wouldn't be so dependent on it. That was a form of weakness after all!

And there was also another reason…

Gojo then went to the principal's office to confirm that the mission had been finished. Mei Mei had thought him something that he planned on trying.

(This is before their class teacher became the principal so don't expect much info.)

"Hey, I'm back." Gojo said as he entered the office.

The principal sat on his chair. The stacks of paper rose so high that the principal could barely be seen.

"Oh, Satoru is that you? I didn't expect you to take so long." He said without stopping what he continued doing.

"The curse spirit kept on teleporting from a place to another so I had a little trouble finishing it off."

"Is that so? Well the money will be on your tab. You'll get it by the end of the month along with all the other money from the other missions."

"The pay was 60,000 yen, right?" He asked.

"Yes, that's right."

"The usual time it took me to find and exorcise a curse is at most 30 minutes. Right?"

"What are you getting at?" The principal's suspicion was piqued because Satoru barely spent time in the office. He usually only came here when he was called here or when he was back from missions.

"The pay would be 60,000 yen but it took me 3 hours to do it. That means I spent extra working time instead of the usual 30 minutes." He put his hands in the pockets of his trouser. "I worked overtime so the pay should at least 29,000 more."

"Where did that come from?" The voice of the principal suddenly increased as he asked in surprise. "You already have more money than you need."

"This should be pocket money to you!" The principal shouted.

"Well, I worked overtime so I should be paid more right."

The principal sighed defeated before agreeing to it.

As Gojo left the office a smile emanated from his lips.

This was a technique he was going to pass on!

The mission had been assigned to him since 7 in the morning, the time was currently 1 in the afternoon so there was still time. He had a reason why he could not afford to skip… most of the times.

"Reverse cursed energy… I'm still not able to use it and Shoko hasn't gotten any better at explaining it." He sighed as he entered the classroom.

He opened the door and immediately two heads popped out.

Shoko and Geto.

"Hey Satoru, how was your mission?" Geto asked. Like he had expected, his friend was not even scratched even though it took him several hours to get back.

"Where's Sensei?" He asked.

"Someone's calling him, so he went to answer it." Geto put his arm on Gojo. "I think it's someone important. Afterall, he wants to get a good rep with everyone so he can become the principal."

"Yeah, and what better to start with than a class filled with special grades."

"Hey Satoru, where's the souvenir?" Shoko asked.

Gojo: …..

"Where's the souvenir? You said you would bring it." She said.

"Well you know, the cursed spirit I was fighting burned down all the souvenir shops."

"You could have at least bought me a cigarette!"

Suddenly, the position switched. Gojo who was the one that was getting the questions switched sides.

"You know cigarettes aren't good for you yet you still buy them. Utahime's always warning you to stop smoking, she always gives you reasons why you should stop."

"Recently she stopped saying that."

"Yet she just gave you three articles on why you should quit smoking? It doesn't really seem like she has given up on the matter."

Shoko glanced at her phone. She was holding it, but it was still visible to Satoru who saw the text.

"Well, you know… umm…"

Geto laughed as she stammered and tried to recollect herself. That probably wasn't going to end well tomorrow for him but who cares.

Afterall, his life would soon be overcame by such sudden sadness.

But that was a story for another time.
