Chapter 3: Cream
Yeah, Williams was a big name in Country A, one of the most productive cities in the world and her parents were well respected and very influential. You know how trendy it gets when some renowned celebrity wears, does or say something, how the stuff gets viral, Yeah, something like that. That's how influential her parents were but for Ella their reactions were highly exaggerated. Besides, didn't the Lee guy see the name on the board he was holding at the airport.
"Dad told me a lot about your family. I heard your dad owns half of the shares of HOPE but you didn't get admitted through the back door, it was all your hard work" Belly was the one to break the silence after Levi started driving.
Ella raised her brows, her dad owned half the shares?
"I also heard it all started from your grandma, damn, she's a god" Belly giggled...
Yeah, it all started from her grandma. How she did it? Too long to explain... lol.
Belly continued to ramble until they got to their destination..... HOPE
Luella has seen a lot but she was wowed by what she saw. It was huge, really spacious. The building were well furnished with nice designs.
"Find your way to my dad's office, we're leaving " Levi, who had been quiet said. This time, he helped her bring down her luggage before driving off.
"Pussy brain" Luella cursed
She had four suitcases, how was she supposed to find the duke's office. Just then....
"Ella!!" Someone said, no screamed.
Luella would be lying if she said her heart didn't jump to her throat. Turning towards the voice, she saw someone very familiar. Your ice cream, Joreen Daves.
Joreen was a second year student here and they had been getting along online. It was the first time they actually met in real life.
"Cream" Ella called happily. Your ice cream was Joreen's user name on we chat.
"Ella, you're so beeutiifull" here she was, the lunatic Ella had been dying to see "You really got admitted, I'm not shocked though" she laughed.
Ella couldn't help but stare at the girl in front of her. She was wearing pink baggy shorts and a white button up shirt with white sneakers, hair tied in two ponytails. She was really cute.
"Come here" Cream pulled her to herself, enveloping Ella in a tight hug.
"I'm really happy to see you" Ella hugged her back.
After the silly formalities, Cream asked someone she knew, probably her friend, to help them look after Ella's suitcases while they looked for the duke.
"You're really lucky, not just anyone can see the duke" Cream said as they walked pass many huge class rooms or lecture halls... whichever
"Really?" Ella raised her brows, her dad asked her to go straight to the duke.
"He's hardly around except on important days which are rare" Cream smiled "you're Luella Williams, what can't you do?"
Ella shrugged making them laugh. Yeah, she had told Cream everything about her and her family and Cream seemed to be a big fan.
"Here we are, I'll wait for you here" Cream said before helping her knock at the door with a sign boldly written DUKE'S OFFICE
Without waiting for any reply, Ella pushed the door open and walked inside.
"Uncle J?" Ella couldn't help but raise her brows shocked after seeing the man sitting behind the huge desk.
"Daddy's rear gem" he chuckled
Hell, her uncle J was the so called duke? He was her dad's older brother who was hardly around. Wait... didn't that mean the asshole and the fatty were her cousins, how come they didn't know each other?
"No wonder I got VIP treatment" Ella rolled her eyes making the man laugh.
"Still as rebellious as ever. Aren't you supposed to be happy?" He raised a questioning brow
"Happy? Why, because my uncle is the duke and my dad own half of the shares"
Ella was really not happy, not everyone would believe that she got admitted due to her efforts.
"Don't worry, except for whoever you told about you, no one knows" he assured her with a smile. "That's your stuff and the key to your room. Don't worry, instead of three, you'll have just one roommate"
Ella sighed in relief, she had really been worried about that.
"Everything else is ready, you can leave now" he said waving her off. Ella grabbed the keys, bowed politely before walking out.
With his bald head, he couldn't even ask her if she had eaten anything.
"By the way, you owe me one for putting up with your rude, arrogant and proud son" Ella said before closing the door
"You're free to teach the brat manners" she could hear his deep loud voice accompanied with a deep chuckle.
