JUST THAT BREAK

I opened the door of hall quietly. The first person I saw was Henry. He was standing at the stage with the entire place was filled with reporters holding their camera. Sitting on their chairs, asking Henry various questions. Their flashes could make someone go blind.

Henry was speaking vulnerable and answering their questions professionally. He looked more handsome today. He dressed formally, wearing a black suit with the same trouser. Wearing a white designer shirt and black tie. He styled his black hair to the back, which made him look hot.

"I promise to..." He stopped talking and his gaze met mine. He analysed my dress and looked mesmorized.

He was probably amazed to see me here and wearing this dark wine satin dinner gown. It was harmless and had a cup shaped love, which packed my breast. It was fitted to almost my waist, and then flare to reach the down. I wore a black stripe heels and a diamond pendant chain that revealed my clavicles. It matched with the diamond love shape earrings I wore. To touch it all, I packed my hair in a stylish bum and wore makeup. I looked at myself in the mirror earlier and finally realized why I was envied.

He professionally continued the speech, completely ignoring me.

"Susy?" I heard a familiar female voice from my left side.

I turned left and to my not surprise, it was Piper. She wore a short emerald gown that revealed too much. Her hair was also pack in a bun and she did look beautiful.

I smiled and she walked closer, standing opposite me.

"Henry said you weren't coming." She gave a jovial expression.

I smiled and sniffed a little.

"Surprise!" I chuckled. "Just wanted to surprise him."

"Oh I see." We looked at each other awkwardly after her statement.

Didn't know what to say or do, just stood there quietly. She cleared her throat, making it more awkward.

"Well..." We both stop when we realized, we said it together. We blinked twice and laughed together.

We stopped laughing and stared at each other again, but it was less awkward.

"You better stop following Henry." I gave her a playful warning.

"Henry?" She scoffed, chuckling afterwards. "Have been counselling Rhys recently. I think it's high time everyone start afresh."

I could see her cheeks were red and it was obvious she had like him. I rolled my eyes at her and we both laughed again.

Not long after our weird discussion, the press conference ended and she left. She probably went to see Rhys.

The media had left and the hall was empty. I didn't even know where Henry was. I was standing at the stage, wandering my eyes left and right. It was so weird, where on earth did Henry vanish to.

I heard the door shut from my back. I turned and saw Henry. The smile on my face grew as he walked towards me. Each step he took, made me get a clearer look of his handsome face.

I walked towards him with a bright smile. We both walked towards each other, with a bright smile. We stopped when we were less than a metre away.

"You are looking beautiful today." His voice was deep and the smile on his lips made me want to kiss him.

"Thanks." I said in a shy tone. Place the invisible strands at the back of my ear.

"You came." He sniffed and his smile was still ever present.

I nodded. We stared at each other, admiring ourselves.

"You are leaving the hotel tomorrow. Are you going to go back to your work place?"

"Hmmm..." I paused and looked at him. "Yes. I'm going to continue."

"I don't really feel comfortable with you staying at that man that eyes you." He gave a jealous tone but didn't want to show it.

"Oh yeah!" I smirked. "I got a call and I heard he resigned. He wanted to harass a staff and he was caught. Things became really chaotic."

"That's good." He still had his smile. "Why don't we head back to the hotel and start helping you to pack."

"Sure!" I smiled and started walking.

I noticed he turned and held me by my waist. His head was on my head and I placed my hands on his.

"I really missed you." His soft voice made my heart to melt. "I signed out of the hotel yesterday and finally going to start afresh."

I twisted my body and face him. His hands were still holding firm to my waist. I looked at him from a closer view. I then wrapped my hands around his neck.

"You did a good thing. I also want to start my life normally. Mist especially with you."

He smiled even more at my statement and our eyes caught our lips.

"I love you Susy." My heart skipped a beat and that was the first time I heard him say that.

"I love you to." I chuckled and raised my legs up. I gave him a quick peck.

He looked at me and we both smiled. He closed his eyes, turned his face to the left and started sucking my lips. My eyes shut automatically and I sucked his lips harder. I pressed his neck and he dragged my waist to his body. We twisted out lips and out tongue made wonders with each other.

We continued kissing without caring about who was going to come. This was definitely a perfect ending.
