Chapter 41: EPILOGUE
YEARS LATER
KIMBERLY
"What are we doing at this underground place?" Jennie was shivering and shaking. I could see her sweating. She just made it so obvious it was her first time.
"Stop being such a scary cat." Ella said in the meanest way. She was one at of the four other girls that always wandered around me in highschool.
I was just seventeen and was considered the baddie in the entire highschool. Being and all and being fear by everyone. I had such a care free attitude about life and was indulged in all the bad things.
"This is my first time skipping class. I just feel unsafe." She was still shivering and looking around.
The place was dark but we could see each other. She's the new girl that just joined our group. I sat at the stool with the other girls standing beside. Except Jennie, standing at my front.
I sighed and gave my usual not caring attitude. I took the packed of cigarettes, placed it in my mouth.
"Pass me the lighter." I commanded in that dark cold voice. With the cigarette still in my mouth.
Ella passed me the lighter immediately. I took it and place it at the tip. I sucked the cigarette and blew some smoke as I removed the cigarette.
"Did you guys hear?" Fiona had that usual jovial tone. She was scrolling through her phone and she was probably going to present another gist.
"What happened?" Ella asked curiously and we all faced Fiona.
"You won't believe my crush is finally getting married." Her eyes were fixed at the phone. She looked surprise to see it.
"Who?" Stacy asked curiously and for some reason, I wanted to know.
"Henry Smith!" All the other girls gasped, even Jennie.
Who the heck was this Henry? Why were they being so dramatic?
"Oh no!" Ella growled and squeezed her face. "Who's the bitch he got married to?" She agressively grabbed the phone from Fiona.
She burnt her face to see the lady. I wanted to check but my ego didn't allow.
"After he came back from his break, he continued working as the CEO of JAREN. He's known as the hottest CEO in America. Every girls dream." She was explaining it with so much passion.
"He actually got married to a very beautiful lady." Ella drew the phone closer to me. She showed me the article.
'Henry Smith weds Susy Davis'. Their wedding takes place next month.
"That's their problem." I rolled my eyes and took another puff.
I didn't believe in love. Them falling in love was their problem and I cared less. Love was just a useless emotion. I made myself a promise to never fall in love and I was definitely not going to fall in love. Well, congratulations to Henry and Susy. They are probably happy being together.
THE END.
