Chapter 110: Killing Isn’t About Luck
"You're lucky!" Ba Tie's resentful face turned purple, making him look even more horrific. "If it hadn't been for those two stupid bastards and their sudden madness, how could you have ambushed us so easily? What a coincidence! It's the will of the King of Zhao that I had to join those two fools. But at least today, I'm breathing more than they are, and that is my final victory!"
"The will of your king? Ha, ha, ha, I must admire your stupidity! You never foresaw your death until this moment. Do you think you beat the brothers? Fool!" Jun laughed and raised his sword: "Die! I have no interest in talking to you!"
"Was it you?" Ba Tie suddenly glared at him, his expression gradually shifting from surprise to malice. "It's you! Die, you bastard!" He shouted, suddenly rising from the ground and grabbing his spear again, preparing for his final attack.
Jun snorted and moved lightly, unexpectedly disappearing from the spot. His body reappeared, now behind Ba Tie. Jun swung his sword toward the back of his dying enemy. Ba Tie's body jerked, but he seemed too slow to avoid it. Although he barely dodged a fatal blow to his back, the sword slid past his legs and stabbed him in the groin.
Truth be told, Jun hadn't expected this fight to be so easy. He had already prepared several tactics to use later. He was ready to respond to any situation at any moment. Facing a commander the size of Ba Tie head-on was difficult, even if he was seriously wounded.
Fighting head-on was different from assassination, after all.
But this strike was enough to easily stop Ba Tie. Even Jun was surprised by the success. This wound was unbearable for any man, even a great general. After all, it was the most painful injury a man could suffer.
But the situation suddenly changed!
Just when Jun thought he had succeeded, Ba Tie, who had been wounded in the most critical area, suddenly retreated at high speed. It was as if he felt nothing from the sword wound under his groin. He seemed to feel no pain at all. As he turned around, he gave Jun a powerful slap on the shoulder!
Jun was genuinely shocked. He hadn't expected Ba Tie to still be so strong and fierce, even after being struck in such a vital area. With the blow, his bones seemed to dislocate, and he snorted as he rushed backward.
Suddenly, he realized that the sword was absolutely clean, without a single drop of blood. His eyes widened in disbelief, and he couldn't help but curse as he flew backward. "Damn it, are you a cripple too?"
No man could endure such a blow, unless he didn't have a leg!
Ba Tie burst out laughing and chased after Jun with a maddening grin, "Exactly! There's nothing down there! Ha, ha, ha…"
He seemed quite proud of having nothing below as he laughed so hard. Jun couldn't fully understand...
Chen, who was recovering at a distance, spat dryly. "So proud of having nothing down there, and he still calls himself a man."
Jun was too angry to laugh. No wonder this kind of man could still fight back. He felt a burning pain in his shoulder, but he kept laughing. "Damn it, I'll aim for the head next time."
At that moment, Ba Tie had reached a long distance and said with a grim smile, "You should have aimed for the head."
Jun laughed, then vanished into thin air! In an instant, he was right next to Ba Tie, who had moved toward where his soldiers were fighting the twins, Trevor and Vera.
Ba Tie let out a loud laugh. But when he looked over to where Jun had been, there was no one there. He couldn't resist shouting in surprise and turned around on full alert. Suddenly, he felt pain in his groin and immediately leaped upward, away from the ground.
Jun had struck from below. Under the forceful blow, Ba Tie's massive body actually floated in the air. He didn't even have time to scream before another kick landed in the same spot.
Out of nowhere, Jun growled, "Don't you think it would have been better to die painlessly earlier?"
With all the scolding, Ba Tie was kicked repeatedly in the same spot as his body rose higher and higher into the air.
With all those powerful kicks, even a giant like Ba Tie wouldn't survive at this point.
Chen stood stunned. He drew a sharp breath as he watched Ba Tie shoot up like a rocket.
With the continuous flurry of kicks, Chen could feel his own teeth clattering. With such force, that guy should have died by the second kick. But now Jun had delivered more than two hundred kicks in the span of five minutes.
"A madder killer than I am!" Chen concluded.
With a zip, Jun appeared in front of him. He quickly said, "Hurry, let's get out of here. Zhao will send more men... It's estimated to be ten thousand soldiers."
More than a thousand heads! How terrifying!
Chen was still in shock. He raised his head and saw Ba Tie still rising, barely recognizable. He was astonished at how Jun had suddenly come here. Wasn't he still kicking that guy's groin?
Jun grabbed Chen and quickly ran toward the snow cave that Shen had found. He didn't have time to say anything and used his footwork to escape!
As they ran over the solid ground, before Chen could express his amazement, Jun started climbing trees like a monkey to avoid leaving footprints on the ground.
"Wait, aren't we going to kill him?"
"I want them to know that Wei is involved now."
...
With a few leaps, several men arrived at the bloody scene just as the group disappeared. In the distance, more men were running toward them.
Blood was everywhere in the snow. Two halves of a body were scattered far apart, with its arms still positioned as if crawling. The ground was littered with slices of flesh. Ba Tie was still rising awkwardly, even though he had been dead for a long time.
There was another man with all his intestines and organs hanging from his body. He had clearly suffered greatly before his death. He had fought hard; as half of his body lay three meters away, his intestines stretched out and still seemingly warm.
Dozens of decapitated soldiers...
Everyone stared at this horrific sight, feeling an overwhelming urge to vomit from their stomachs. But they all looked enraged and wanted revenge!
"Brutal! Chen is truly wicked beyond belief! No one will see peace until he's killed!" An old man looked at the carnage and sighed deeply.
"You're right, second-in-command! How dare he torture our people like this? If we capture him, we'll cut him into pieces and grind his bones!"
"We need to identify all the killers before they regroup."
