Chapter 23: Chapter 23 Wholesale Production and Pacifista.
Chapter 23.
In the dimly lit and spacious internal space of Baku-Baku no mi, Suzuki tried it out.
He first closed his eyes to perceive the ability of Baku-Baku no mi, then attempted to use the ability on himself.
A miraculous thing happened—
He floated up into the air and could even fly freely within the space.
A faint smile appeared on Suzuki's face as he further understood the ability of Baku-Baku no mi.
The abilities of Devil Fruits are often combinations of various basic abilities.
Baku-Baku no mi, as is evident, primarily involves abilities related to space.
As a user of Baku-Baku no mi, controlling this space and objects within it is very intuitive.
Suzuki recalled the alloy metals that were used in Baku-Baku no mi's ability to create in the original work. He thought that wapol probably completed this by controlling the internal objects within that space.
In fact, this is quite similar to the Ope Ope no mi; the only difference is that the Ope Ope no mit's room exists externally whereas Baku-Baku no mi needs to be ingested.
Both can also do some conceptual things, for example, Law can exchange souls, and Baku-Baku no mi can combine abilities.
Understanding this, Suzuki activated his ability to spit out himself, preparing to conduct another experiment.
In the room outside, an eerie mouth opened wide, then slowly spit out Suzuki's body, returning to its original appearance after he was fully expelled.
After getting out, Suzuki smacked his lips, feeling there was no taste; perhaps things consumed by Baku-Baku no mi were tasteless.
After all, once the ability is activated, the ingested items do not actually go to the stomach but into the internal space of Baku-Baku no mi.
Suzuki opened his mouth wide, and the mouth continued to expand, eventually reaching nearly two meters, at which point he could no longer open it further.
Suzuki mentally calculated that the maximum width was roughly equal to his own size.
Taking note of this, Suzuki realized that when encountering larger objects in the future, he would need to bite them into smaller pieces to swallow them.
Suzuki returned his mouth to its normal size, looked at the metal piled on the ground, and picked up a relatively large and hard iron block.
He then placed that large iron block in his mouth, but only partially, before activating his ability, causing the iron block to easily split from his mouth.
Suzuki frowned, pondering:
"It split so easily without using my teeth."
"This means that while I activate my ability, my mouth essentially becomes a Different Space of the Baku-Baku no mi? Whatever enters my mouth is equivalent to entering that Different Space?"
Suzuki spat out the iron piece he just swallowed, discovering the two broken edges were incredibly smooth.
Even after placing the two iron pieces together and deactivating his ability, the iron blocks seemed as if they had never been broken.
Suzuki gazed at the iron blocks in surprise, confusion spreading across his face:
"No matter how you look at it, this seems unreasonable."
"What's the principle? Is it similar to the previous space replacement but doesn't involve material splitting?"
"Moreover, after I deactivated my ability, it appears as if they had never been split. What if I didn't put the two iron pieces together and deactivated my ability?"
Without hesitation, Suzuki again used the Baku-Baku no mi's ability to split the iron block into two pieces and then spit out the portion he swallowed.
Suzuki spread his hands, each holding a split iron block, then deactivated his ability, yet the iron blocks remained unchanged.
Looking at the iron blocks in his hands, Suzuki felt puzzled; he had expected some dazzling light to flash and then remerge, but nothing happened.
After pondering for a while, Suzuki's face showed realization.
He tried to put the two iron blocks together again, and this time, they became as if they had never split apart.
Suzuki roughly understood this part of the Baku-Baku no mi's ability; although he couldn't provide a reasonable explanation, he could tell that the usage of the ability and the resulting outcome were quite good.
Then, Suzuki swallowed all these metal blocks again. After swallowing, he also ate himself.
Suzuki arrived once again at the internal space of the Baku-Baku no Mi, and this time there was a pile of miscellaneous metal blocks.
He attempted to directly use his ability to create an alloy here so he could clearly see the process of alloy formation, which was difficult to do well with the Baku-Baku no Mi, just like Wapol.
No activation of ability was needed, because now he was already in the process of using his ability.
With just a thought, several pieces of metal floated in mid-air. The originally hard iron blocks, when touching each other, surprisingly turned liquid-like and fused together in a peculiar manner.
Suzuki moved his thoughts again, and the already fused iron blocks flew into his hands.
Holding the newly created alloy, Suzuki's face was filled with surprise.
This process was effortless and artistic; the iron blocks suddenly merged to become an entirely new metal.
During the manufacturing process, Suzuki didn't feel a hint of difficulty or fatigue. Given some time, he could even produce a large batch of new alloys in a short period.
"No wonder Wapol in the original story easily established a country and rejoined the World Government; this ability is indeed a bug."
Suzuki twisted the alloy in his hand, feeling that it was slightly softer compared to the original metal blocks, but its toughness was greater, allowing it to bend more without breaking.
"It seems that the alloys made with this fruit's ability still comply with the basic principles. I can try looking for some base elements of precious metals to see if I can create them directly."
Suzuki thought of gemstones, silver, diamonds, and so on.
Thinking of this, Suzuki couldn't help but shake his head and chuckle: "Wapol in the original story was called a garbage processing plant, but this is clearly a universal factory."
"Manufacturing precious metals is too low-level."
"Since it's a universal factory, synthesizing materials is just the simplest ability."
"Why give materials to others? I can use them myself."
A curious smile appeared on Suzuki's face: "With the Baku-Baku no Mi as this universal factory, aside from needing the basic materials and equipment manufacturing blueprints, I can surpass those real factories in terms of time and precision."
"If I could know the composition of a certain machine..."
With this thought, Suzuki's eyes narrowed, revealing an interesting smile: "If I know the blueprints and required materials for a pacifista, could I mass-produce them if the basic materials are sufficient?"
"A pacifist is at least A rank and above, so I should be able to create quite a bit by consuming several metal mines, right? Eating a few mountains of iron might even assemble an army?"
