Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Birth Right
I felt completely alone. I was despised by the people in this cursed village. I am an orphan with no special talents. Right now, I'm in the middle of taking the practice written test to become a Genin. Everything has been pretty easy so far. However, I believe that "Iruka-sensei" will grade my test very strictly, just like he always does.
The exam focused more on the history of the clans' warring times, rather than on chakra theory, basic medical information, team formation, or even the other five great shinobi nations and their specialized elements. Instead, it covered the founders of Konoha and other less important shinobi details.
Sighing, I turned my paper over before putting my pencil back in my supply holster. Ignoring Mizuki and Iruka's protests, I just walked out, ignoring the two chunin. I had no time for them. Today was my birthday, after all, and I preferred to celebrate in solitude. Like I had a choice anyway.
I strolled through the bustling streets of Konoha as usual. Whispers and stares were all aimed at me. I could see the disgust in their cold eyes; they weren't even discreet about it. Yes, I was the supposed jailor of the nine-tailed fox, also known as Kyuubi no Yoko. I learned this at a young age; I was only seven at the time and I was really hungry. So, I went to a ramen stall where an old man named Teuchi not only kicked me out but also exposed the secret that I was the nine-tailed fox.
Ha! I remember crying like a baby for an entire week, completely in denial. I was the one who destroyed the village - "the fox in human skin," "the boy who was the reincarnation of the Kyuubi," "the fox brat."
I carry this unbearable burden, this sin cast upon me by one man. I looked at Hokage Mountain and saw the sculpture of the fourth person, Minato Namikaze, also known as the fourth Hokage, and the yellow flash of Konoha. He is the father of Naruto Namikaze, who was that insufferable blond who made sure to make my life a living hell every day.
This is the reality in which I exist, and it doesn't get better when your own Kage is opposed to you. The only individual who remained neutral towards me was one of the elders, known as Danzo Shimura.
When I arrived at the village gate, I presented my ID to the two eternal chunin. After reviewing my ID, they informed me that I was free to return home. However, my home was not located within the village; instead, it was on the outskirts. I was prohibited from living inside the village by the orders of the Third Hokage. "This was for my own safety," that's what the old man said.
As I made my way home through the deep woods, I finally caught sight of the large farm, which was my home, and the large lake beside it. This was the only inheritance my mother left me, along with some Kenjutsu scrolls and the beginner's guide to Genjutsu. My mother's name was Kairi Chinoike. She was a refugee and orphan from the Land of Lightning who lost her memories around the time of the Second Great Shinobi War. She was taken by one of the legendary Sannin, named Orochimaru, and later became the apprentice of the snake sage.
As I arrived at my front door, I saw an unexpected visitor. It was quite unusual for me to have visitors, except for visits from the lord third himself. The man had pale blond hair and was wearing a pair of black sunglasses. He sported a goatee that matched his hair color. He was wearing a brown backpack that I could only guess was his belongings.
Seeing my figure, the man smiles at me and then waves. Why the hell was he so friendly?
Opening up my mouth, I said coldly. "Who are you? And what business do you have here?"
The man responded, "I'm just the delivery man, and I have a couple of things for you." He pulled something out from his pack. I was confused; no one had ever sent me a package, let alone a letter.
Feeling suspicious, I asked the man why he was there. "How funny," I said with my arms crossed. "The nine-tail Jinchuriki receiving gifts? I don't believe it." The man just ignored me, then took out three books, an envelope, a box, six scrolls, and a piece of paper from his bag.
Looking at me in the eye while still wearing a jolly smile, he said, "Maybe there is someone out there who cares about you, even if you're a Jinchuriki," said the laid-back man as he began to leave.
When I found the items left at my door, I took a moment to inspect them, checking for any signs of a possible trap, such as paper bombs or a volley of kunai. First, I opened the box and found a pile of red metal inside. It looked like it could be chakra metal. Then, I picked up one of the six scrolls that the man left me. The scroll contained a summoning contract with a snake symbol sketched on it, along with the necessary hand sign to perform the summoning.
My eyes widened upon seeing the creature summoning contract. "This summoning contract is one of the contracts that the legendary Sannin, Orochimaru, possesses. How the hell did it end up in my possession?" I exclaimed, deciding to take the rest of the things back inside my house. I realized that the gifts that were given to me were really good gifts.
After settling down, I brewed some strawberry tea while also having some biscuits on the side. If you're wondering about the summoning scroll, I've decided not to mess with it right now until I get a better grasp of the art of summoning, due to my lack of knowledge about the secret art.
On the other hand, there was a book on my coffee table that really grabbed my attention. It was titled "The History of the Chinoike Clan". Did I really have a clan? A talentless ordinary loser like myself couldn't be from a clan... Right?
I'm working on a story set in an alternative Naruto universe. I'm still figuring out what I want to do with this story, but as a wise man said, "Only by sitting in a chair can all the brainstorming and storytelling come together." In this fanfiction, Naruto won't be the main character and will mostly be portrayed negatively in some way. I don't want this to be a reincarnation or transmigration story because there are already too many of those, and they seem lazy to me. Regarding the potential harem or pairing in the story, I'm not sure about the direction I want to take. I was considering a love triangle involving a female Sasuke or Sasuke's sister, Fem Naruto, who will be an original character and have feelings for the main character. I haven't decided yet because there are so many possible pairings, including Samui, Sakura, Kurotsuchi, Karin, Ino, Fuu, and more. It could potentially be a harem story, or maybe not. I want the main character to start off weak and then become strong, but I know it will be challenging given my writing style and what I want for the character. I don't want him to be edgy, a crybaby, or overly friendly from the start. I want him to be like a blank sheet of paper, someone who is hard to read and seems bland. Someone who doesn't cause trouble, but trouble seems to find him. In the beginning, he won't be very intelligent and will be average in his studies, behind Sakura in both books and sports. Similar to canon Naruto, his taijutsu and ninjutsu skills will be below average due to lack of instruction and neglect from Iruka Sensei, but he will eventually find a suitable teacher, who is an anime-only character or filler character.
Everything else will be on my Patreon. If you can help a brother out, then you will be rewarded with all my fanfics, and watch out for another fanfics, called. "High School DxD: The Red Dragon Emperor and the Dog God of the Black Blade." if you're interested. But, I might delay the first chapter, It is basically finished, but I need to do some more editing
