Koushin: Konoha’s Dragonborn[Completed]

“Team Koushin is here to report!” I saluted Hokage as the team waited outside.

“Hmm, good job. Tell me the details.” Tsunade said, as he filled a cup of sake, before heaving a tired sigh.

“Orochimaru is alive.” I said, before Tsunade could take a sip from her drink. I don’t want her to spit all the content onto me. Thankfully I did that, because she looked at me in shock.

“Are you certain?” She asked.

“Ninety percent sure.” I said with all seriousness. Now, I am not. I know he has a way to come back, and I am sure he will eventually, but for now, I cannot be sure. I know the death of Sound Four and scorch marks on their shoulders indicates his revival, I am not that certain. Crazy world, maybe Kabuto knew the other function of the seal and burnt them to prevent Orochimaru ever coming back.

“How do you know that?” Tsunade asked with a squint. Of course she wasn’t happy with that, after all, the enemy that caused so much damage to Konoha was still out there. How could she be happy knowing all that?

“Kimimaro, one of the most loyal dogs of Orochimaru, was left behind there. He was a member of the Kaguya Clan…” I started but Tsunade spit the sake towards me this time, luckily I was expecting so I moved away immediately.

“Kaguya Clan?” She asked in shock. “Kaguya Clan of Mist?”

“Yes, he could use bones and everything, but he was sick. Deadly sick despite the strength he wielded.” I said and continued. “From his mumblings during the battle, I deduced that Orochimaru wanted to take over his body, and he was willing. But because of his fatal sickness, the snake gave up on him.” I said as I waited for her to analyze so far. “Sadly I wasn’t able to take the body with me. Either Orochimaru or someone else placed a seal on his body that turned him into ashes, as his heart stopped.”

“Kaguya Clan has innate illnesses that kill them as they grow stronger. Even I can’t heal them. That makes sense, but it still doesn’t mean Orochimaru abandoned him lately. It can be before he was killed.” She frowned as she said.

“I thought so too, but later, he said Orochimaru went away with another body. From his emotions, I could tell that it wasn’t another temporary. It is a valuable body like a member of the Kaguya clan this time, and when he was here, Orochimaru didn’t show anything suspicious. In the face of death, he wouldn’t hide his power.”

“There is still not enough evidence.” Tsunade tapped her feet nervously. “Are there anything else?”

“Hmm.” She nodded slightly, but her tone was unconvinced. Luckily, at this time, the window at the side opened, and Jiariya looked within.

“The kid is right. Orochimaru is back.” The Legendary Sannin said, as he scrutinized me.

“What? Have you seen him? Did you battle? Where is Naruto? What happened?” Tsunade fired questions one after the other.

Jiraiya took a second, as he looked at me. Seeing this Tsunade waved her hand to reassure him that it was okay. So he started to explain, “There was a strong illusive barrier, I failed to see through. Although I could feel that there was a dense Nature Chakra, thus I summoned the best summon of mine that is good with illusions and barriers, but he too failed.

Luckily, Naruto’s summons are pretty good, so one of them was able to see through it. He said that it was Orochimaru who was sitting beyond there, and was gathering Nature Chakra. He most possibly possessed a member of a cursed Clan that used to live in Ryuichi Cave. He was the last person of his clan, and they have innate ability to control Nature Chakra.

With his vast information and abilities, Orochimaru managed to control this ability to evolve into something beyond the two of us. He is not something we can beat for the time being, but the good news is, he won’t be able to leave the place for now either. At least that is what the Tengu Clan summon said.”

“Shit!” Tsunade and I said at the same time. This is bad. I never thought Orochimaru would find a way to take over Jugo. What changed? There must be something caused by my existence. In the original story, Orochimaru never dared to take over Jugo because of side effects of his transformation. Is it out of desperation? I don’t think so. Orochimaru wouldn’t risk his life. There must be something I am missing.

At the same time, in a damp cave stood a statue with ten fingers. On top of each finger, stood a figure. Their shapes were not solid, as if they were created by lights. Only their eyes were visible, not their bodies, but those at the base of the hands could be seen clearly. "There were several of them, standing silently, and in reverence. As if those who stood on the fingers were their gods.

At this time, one with the red eyes opened his closed eyes. Anyone seeing those eyes could say that they were legendary Sharingan. But these cursed eyes were different than normal. The irises of the eyes were not ordinary; their base was a deep, intense black that seemed to absorb all light. But that wasn't the most striking feature. Nestled at the center of each iris were three sinuous tomoes, like elegant, comma-shaped markings that curved around the pupils in a perfect triangle. The tomoes were a vibrant shade of red, as if they were dripping blood. But the awe-inspiring sight didn't end there. Within the crimson tomoes, there was a smaller set of markings: four tomoes, black as coal, that encircled the pupils in a series of tight, precise curves. It was as if the eyes held a universe within them, a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns that mesmerized anyone who dared to look into their depths. They were looking at everything in rage and hate. Even those at the base of the hands were too afraid to look into those eyes.(Check spoiler for the strange red eyes)
