Kakashi's eyes widened in shock, his mind racing to understand what Tobi meant. Before he could react, Obito appeared out of nowhere, standing next to Kakashi. With a swift, precise movement, Obito's fingers closed around Kakashi's Sharingan eye, ripping it out of its socket.

Kakashi cried out in pain, his hand flying to his face as blood poured from the empty eye socket. "What have you done?!" he demanded, his voice a mix of agony and fury.

Tobi smirked behind his mask, his voice cold and devoid of emotion. "It was never truly yours to begin with, Hatake. I gave you that Sharingan as a means to protect Rin, and yet you used it to kill her."

Kakashi's eye widened in shock, his breathing heavy as he struggled to comprehend what he was hearing. "O-Obito?" he stuttered, his voice shaking with pain and disbelief. The realization that his long-lost friend was not only alive but filled with hatred for him was almost too much to bear.

Obito's eyes burned with fury as he continued to berate Kakashi. "Yes, that's right. I know what happened, Kakashi. I know that Rin was sealed with the Three-Tails and that she was going to be used to destroy Konoha. I know everything!"

Kakashi tried to speak, his voice weak and desperate. "Obito, please, let me explain. I didn't want to kill Rin, but—"

Obito cut him off, his voice dripping with venom. "But what, Kakashi? You still killed her! With the very gift I gave you to protect her! How could you betray me like that?!"

Kakashi's face crumpled in anguish, tears streaming down his cheeks as he fought to find the words to explain himself. But there was no time; Obito was already turning away, preparing to leave with Deidara, Sasori, and Gaara in tow.

As the group prepared to vanish, Gaara looked back at Naruto, his eyes filled with regret. "Naruto, I'm sorry. I cannot stay in my village any longer. This is the only way for me."

Naruto stared at Gaara, his heart breaking as he saw his friend being taken away by the Akatsuki. "Gaara, please, don't go!" he pleaded, desperation tinging his voice. "We can help you!"

But it was too late. With a swirl of black and red, the Akatsuki members and Gaara vanished, leaving Naruto and the others standing in the now-empty cavern.

Naruto's fists clenched, his entire body shaking with anger and sorrow. "We'll get him back," he vowed, his voice filled with determination. "We'll save Gaara and bring him home."

Hinata placed a comforting hand on Naruto's shoulder, her eyes filled with sadness. "We'll do everything we can, Naruto. I promise."

Koushin looked at Kakashi, who was still reeling from the revelation of Obito's true identity and the loss of his Sharingan. The pain in Kakashi's eye was evident, and Koushin couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for his sensei. He walked over to him, and as he did, he recalled an ability he had gained years ago but had never used. It was a long shot, but Koushin was desperate to help Kakashi.

"Kakashi-sensei," Koushin said gently, his hand hovering over the empty eye socket. "I'm going to try something. It might help."

Kakashi, still in shock, could only nod weakly, his breathing heavy as he tried to process everything that had just happened.

Koushin closed his eyes and took a deep breath, focusing his chakra. In his mind, he recited the words: "Key of Redemption: This key grants the user the power to heal wounds. Once in three years, the user can use it to heal himself or someone else of physical or emotional wounds. When used on an item, it can repair and restore it to its original state, even if it was previously broken or damaged."

As Koushin concentrated on the power within him, a soft, warm light began to emit from his hand. The light enveloped Kakashi's eye socket, and Koushin could feel the energy from the Key of Redemption flowing into his sensei.

Kakashi winced as he felt a strange sensation in his empty eye socket. It started as a slight itch, but soon grew more intense, making him squirm in discomfort. But then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the itching sensation subsided, and Kakashi felt something he hadn't experienced in years – the presence of his original eye.

Koushin slowly removed his hand, revealing Kakashi's restored eye. It wasn't the Sharingan, but the eye he had lost all those years ago. Sighing in relief, Koushin smiled at Kakashi, who stared back in amazement.

The others looked on in shock, their expressions a mix of awe and fear. Naruto was the first to break the silence, his voice filled with wonder. "Koushin, how did you do that?"

Koushin hesitated for a moment before explaining. "It's an ability I gained due to my summons. I can only use it once every three years, though."

Chiyo slumped down to the ground, her face etched with despair. Her last hope had been to save her grandson's soul, freeing him from the Akatsuki's control, and if not that, then to die saving Gaara for the village. But she had failed in both. Sasori was acting freely against Suna, and Gaara had betrayed them.

Kakashi, his eye still throbbing from Koushin's healing, crouched down beside her, his voice gentle. "Chiyo-sama, I'm so sorry. We'll find a way to save Sasori and Gaara. We won't give up."

Chiyo shook her head, tears streaming down her cheeks. "What's the point, Kakashi? I've failed them both. I couldn't save Sasori from his own darkness, and now Gaara has been taken by the Akatsuki. It's all my fault."

Naruto knelt down beside her, his voice firm but kind. "Chiyo-baa-sama, it's not your fault. You did everything you could. We all did. We'll keep fighting, and we'll bring them both back. I promise."

Hinata joined them, her eyes filled with empathy. "Naruto's right. We won't give up on them. We'll find a way to bring them back to the light."

Chiyo looked up at their determined faces, her heart heavy with sadness. "I appreciate your words, but I fear it's too late for me. I don't have much time left, and I've lost my will to live. My life has been filled with regrets and failures, and now… I don't see any reason to go on."
