Chapter 6: Descendants Innate Talent!
The thing that he noticed was that a massive whirlpool was forming with him as the center and the remaining milky liquid was being drawn into the whirlpool faster and faster.
The liquid vanished faster and faster leaving behind a pit on the ground. The skeleton was becoming completely exposed.
He already realized that the massive vital Qi was passing through his flesh into his body and then back.
He couldn't control it in the slightest. He just felt the aura flow in his body and back. He was sure that the effect of the talent had kicked in.
The whirlpool stopped and a cocoon enterily of vital Qi formed.
He felt a strong sense of connection to the cocoon.
Looking back at the exposed skeleton, a ring could be seen on the giant skeleton's hand. He extended his hand take.
Without even thinking a second, he reached out towards the ring, ignoring the pressure. As his fingers held onto the ring, a stinging pain spread all over his finger.
The next moment, blood was drained, and the skeleton vanished leaving a ring being held between his fingers.
"Huh!"
He was indeed astounded, but didn't care much about the issue. The pressure that had been in this place had also vanished along with the skeleton.
Standing before the white cocoon, he felt conflicted as he considered abandoning it, as it might be a source of trouble.
But he gritt his teeth, and took of his outer robe, wrapping it around the cocoon before walking out of the pond.
Without wasting time, he walked further without looking back. He had entered the Prehistoric Ruins and could be said to have gained more than anyone could bargain for.
"I should locate somewhere hidden in the valley to hide, and wait for the Prehistoric Ruins to expell me." As he thought of this, his figure moved further into the valley.
In the information that Li Tian had obtained, the path of cultivation was actually considered to start at the second stage of Foundation Establishment. The Vital Qi Accumulation stage was the threshold to measure if someone had cultivation talent, and a technique used to speed up the absorption of Vital Qi was used.
Things were different when one wanted to enter the foundation Establishment stage.
The reason was simple, the Vital Qi lacked attribute, and a suitable attribute element technique passed on for practicing y gathering energy from the outside world.
The energy in the world had different aspects and the most common being the five elements.
Most techniques were fashioned out of this elements and just the same, most people chose to focus on single attribute techniques of the five elements.
When his figure was still thinking of a nice cave to locate, he discovered the cocoon was cracking.
Placing it on the ground, he stared at the cracks slowly forming and spreading along the cocoon. The next moment, a bird the side of an adult pigeon appeared in his sight.
"Huh! What it this? It's not a dove right?" He just looked at the little bird and become suspicious. It didn't resemble anything that had been given birth to by heaven and earth.
But even so, seeing it he couldn't help but be amazed at the wonders of this world.
"This talent I have might prove useless especially if all the descendants in the future are like this bird!" He thought as he looked at the bird seriously.
He realized it was pecking at the cocoon. With each peck, the size kept reducing and when it was done, it's aura actually become slightly strong.
"Huh! It can actually play like this? Does this mean that this bird can became stronger in the future?" He become interested in the bird.
"Right! How could anything that is a product of heaven and earth be mediocre?" He readjusted his thinking after all it was a gain for having done nothing.
He could feel that the bird and him had some connection, he assumed it had something to do with his Vital Qi.
But that was not important, he placed his arm on the bird in an attempt to pet it and just felt a mad devouring force. He couldn't stop it and it kept becoming stronger and stronger until he completely collapsed.
"Damn! What is happening?" Was his last thought, he failed to see the bird turn into a flash of light and shot into his body.
The ring that he had also fused into his finger and become invisible. No! It would be best to say that it had fused with the bones of his finger.
The Prehistoric Ruins closing resulted in figures falling from the sky above the two pillars to the magic circle.
Only less than nine figures were left standing and those present didn't seem shocked at all by this. It was as though they were used to it.
At this moment, a figure of a woman appeared in the void above the two pillars.
"This nine are going back with me to the Wayward Sect! Is there any problem?" The woman asked in a cold indifferent voice.
Clearly her words couldn't be refuted and that was the way those gathered heard it.
Li Tian was the only survivor from the Li clan.
"Since that is the case, the sect will sent out rewards based on the potential showcased by this seeds from your clan." After saying this, she waved her sleeves and a massive ship appeared in the void.
It had the Wayward sect logo attached.
Without even waiting for the old guys from the clans that had brought their descendants into the ruins, a force appeared around the magic circle carrying the nine survivors.
They rose until they reached the entrance to the ship and after she threw them in. The ship completely vanished from place.
What was left behind were the elders of different clans. Each of them had different expressions, and Li Tiandi also was the same.
He didn't expect that someone from the Li clan would actual survive this trial, and it was the youngest. What was important was that he had been taken to the Wayward sect before he could even talk to him.
Li Tiandi felt that such a person with good luck might end up making it in the Wayward sect. But he also knew there was a chance it wouldn't happen, but this wasn't something he was interested in finding out about.
He had to think of ways to mend the relationship between Li Tian and the Li clan.
He was not wrong in his line of thought, because Li Tian didn't have any direct relations in the clan. Since the Wayward sect had taken him, it might become even more difficult to get in touch with him in the future.
The elders from different clans didn't stay behind to fight or argue, each was in a rash to leave.
The development of things had different effects on each of them.
The moment Li Tiandi left he was rushing to the Li clan to gather as much information about Li Tian as possible. He didn't know him from before, but it wasn't a problem for him to find out.
In the ship, when Li Tian woke up, he discovered eight other people as him, but they all where in the same hall in the ship.
Looking around vigilantly, he discovered the eight strangers each had different expressions.
"You woke up? What is your name?" A voice then sounded from the man on his left.
"Huh! Li Tian? What about you?" He turned as he replied only to see a man with bright and handsome face.
Before they entered the ruins, he had not seen anyone like this. As if seeing the confusion on his face the man laughed.
"I'm Qin Feng! I didn't look like this, only after gaining a chance in the Ruins did I get a chance to live a second Life." The man was very proud about this.
That was not all, he had a strong aura that made it clear he wasn't in the Vital Qi Accumulation stage. At this stage it was impossible to have the ability to release pressure using energy.
The pressure that man was unleashing wasn't something done on purpose, rather he was incapable of controlling it after all he might have just entered the foundation establishment stage.
"Foundation establishment realm?" Li Tian asked in shock.
Seeing his reaction, Qin Feng was pleased.
In the families they came from, foundation establishment was already enough to have a strong position in the clan.
Even the patriarch of the clans was just someone at the peak of this realm.
They had no ability to breakthrough beyond this stage, and that was because of either resources or martial arts.
Such things that the Wayward sect might be capable of providing their disciples easily due to the foundation, might not be present in the clans even for their elders.
"Sigh! It is a shame even with my current level of cultivation I can only join as an outer disciple until I switch to the sect's foundation technique and cultivate it to the required standards." The man's excitement faded slightly when he said this.
"Sects foundation technique?" Li Tian asked in confusion.
