"Well, it hardly matters who goes first. You see the students I've brought are at the top of their games and each one specialises in each different summoning's. The one facing Yuya, will be Dipper."

"That's my name and don't you dare forget it or you'll pay!"

'We are going to humiliate these guys.' I thought as I smirked.

We all left the stadium as Dipper and Yuya stared intently at each other.

"Enjoy this while it last, because I doubt it will last long. Now shall we start"

"Oh yeah, and we are starting with a bang, know why? Because we are blasting into outer space." Said Shuzo as he clicked a button. "I activate the action field spell Cosmic Sanctuary"

"Augmented action field energise, generating action field"

Chapter 5: You Show v Leo Institute!! Fight For The School Part 2

"Bring it on Dipper, I'm ready for your very best." Yuya said with determination present on his face.

Dipper just chuckled confidently.

"Yuya is quite sure of himself. Now let's see if he has the right to be." Said the Chairwomen. I looked over to the left as I could feel someone watching us. I smirked. 'This is going to be fun'

"Proceed Dipper, give Yuya a celestial smackdown."

"With great pleasure madam chairwomen, let's get this started."

"First, I summon Constellar Algiedi

A white soldier looking monster appeared Infront of Dipper.

"What makes this monster so special is that when he is on the field, I am allowed to summon another constellar monster from my hand." Dipper said as the monsters staff started glowing blue. "So come on out lv 4 Constellar Kaus"

Constellar Kaus LV 4 (ATK1800/DEF 700)

"And he has got an awesome ability too. I'm able to bolster up the level of one of my Constellar monsters by one. So, for Kaus's first bolstering bold blast, I'm aiming to level up Constellar Algiedi."

Constellar Algiedi LV 5 (ATK1600/DEF 1400)

"And for a second raise I think ill have kaus do one on himself!"

Constellar Kaus LV 5 (ATK1800/DEF 700)

Out of the corner of my eye I could see Sora frowning at the man as he watched the match.

"You know what that lets me do. I overlay the two level 5 Constellars in order to build. The overylay network."

His two monsters turned into yellow energy as a yellow portal opened up on the floor in front of him. The two yellow energies entered into the portal before transforming.

"I xyz summon rank 5 Constellar Pleiades"

Light arose from the portal as the You Shows students looked on in shock

Constellar Pleiades Rank 5 (ATK 2500/DEF 1500)

"Wow no way!" exclaimed Yuya. "He xyz?"

"Whats a rank? Did he mean level?" Asked the confused Tate.

"No but allow me to take your thinking to the next lev-"

"No he meant rank." I said as Sora comically fell over "You see what he just did was an xyz summon. Its summoning a monster using to monsters with the same level in order to xyz summon a monster with what is known as a rank. It's one of the things that makes Xyz monsters different. Instead of levels they have what is known as ranks"

"I WAS ABOUT TO EXPLAIN THAT!!" Shouted Sora.

"To late Hehe." I said with my tongue stuck out.

"Ok but what are those lights around it." Asked Allie.

"Those are over-" started Sora

"They are overlay units." I finished as Sora gritted his teeth. "Xyz monsters use them to activate their special abilities.

"oooh!!" said the kids as they now fully understood the ins and outs of an xyz monster.

"That will do for now said Dipper. I'll end my turn"

"OK! I DRAW!!" Yuya said as he drew his card.

"I'll use Stargazer Magician and Time gazer magician to set the pendulum scale. I'm taking control of this duel starting NOW!!" Exclaimed Yuya as he put the two cards on two opposite sides of his duel disk. Two pillars of light arose from the ground as his magicians rose. "Ah yeah, this is is how you give an audience a show!" A pendulum appeared creating a hole in between a the two monsters. "I'm allowed to summon monsters from level 2 to lv 7 all at the same time. Swing far pendulum and carve the ark of VICTORY!! MY MONSTERS ARE READY TO SWING INTO ACTION!!" Yuya raised his hands as two lights escaped from his portal. "Its your turn to take the stage Performapal Swordfish and Odd-Eyes Pendulum dragon"

Performapal Swordfish LV 2 (ATK 600/ 600)

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon LV7 (ATK 2500/DEF 2000)

I sweat dropped. 'Yuya's monsters where ok but we seriously need to get him some better ones. His monsters where good support but where only fodder for real duellists to exploit. He won't stand a chance against Duel academy if he continued duelling this way,' I thought.

Everyone cheered as the chairwomen stared at Yuya's monsters intently. Having been the first time seeing it herself, she was determined to find out all the secrets of this Pendulum summoning.

"So, this is the new summoning technique I've been hearing about." Said Dipper.

"That's right and its going to be the star of this show, and what saves our school from you. I activate my swordfish's special ability. I'll get straight to the point, once per turn it can slice and dice your monsters by 600." Yuya said as his monster split into six and charged for Dippers Constellar xyz monster.

Constellar Pleiades Rank 5 (ATK 1900/DEF 1500)

Yuya jumped on his Odd-Eyes before continuing on his charge. "Now Odd-Eyes can attack your monster"

"Seriously, like I didn't see this coming. I activate Pleiades ability," said Dipper as his monsters grabbed on of its overlay units "Now by using an overlay unit, one card on the field goes back to the hand it came from and the card I choose is Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. Looks like the star attraction got a bad case of stage fright."

"Now what Yuya?" mocked Dipper

"Now I'm in trouble because I don't have a monster that can take out Pleiades"

Yuya started running as he searched for an action card. However, Pleiades dropped Infront of his standing in his way and preventing Yuya from getting a card. Dipper laughed at the sad display Yuya was in.

"Lemme guess, Yuya, you're looking for this right." Said dipper holding up the very action card Yuya was aiming for. Yuya just gritted his teeth as he went for another action card. However, like before Pleiades was standing in his way.

"It's pointless Yuya, you can't win"

"Yeah, we will just see about that. I end my turn with a face down"

"Prepare to lose Yuya, I draw"

"So much for Yuya being the next big thing." Said Madam Chairwomen in delight.

"Hah, your pendulum summoning technique is nothing compared to my xyz summoning." Said dipper.

"Just take your turn" Yuya said in frustration.

"Fine if you want to lose that badly prepare to see how a pro does it. First Constellar Pleiades attacks Performapal Swordfish." Dippers monster struck the helpless swordfish with his sword as his Yuya's monster dispersed.

Yuya LP: 2100

Yuya fell hard on the floor as Yuzu cried out in worry. I patted her on the back as I told her, he isn't out of the fight yet.

"You're getting what you deserve Yuya. For attacking Sylvio and for putting him in the hospital."

"For the last time Dipper, that wasn't me!" Yuya said as he struggled to get up.

"Typical. First, you're lying about the power of the pendulum. And now you're lying about what u did to Sylvio.

"The power of the pendulum summoning is true." Defended Yuya

"Not from what I've seen. I place one card face down and that's my turn"

'This isn't good, so long as Pleiades has an overlay unit, he can just send my monsters back to the hand. Although, he does just have one overlay unit left." Thought Yuya "Ok, My draw!"

Turn 4

"Ok! My draw. And now for an encore goo pendulum summon!!" Yuya said as he once again raised his hands. "Now make your way to the stage Performapal turn toad, and once again Odd-Eyes Pendulum dragon."

However, Sora looked a bit disappointed.

"Huh, come on Yuya, a rerun monster already? How is that entertainment." Said Sora

Yuya didn't even look at him as he focused on his match. "You're just going to have to wait and see. And you're not going to have to wait very long, cuz here goes." Before he could start however, he saw the flashing light of an action card dropping.

I sweat dropped, wondering how an action card was just dropping now four turns into the duel.

Yuya however, didn't seem to care as he jumped on his red monster and chased after the spot it dropped.

"Going an action card again? Looks like Yuya didn't learn the first time" said the Chairwomen with a smirk. I just stood there and watched, deciding not to respond as Yuya continued on his charge. Yuzu, however, couldn't keep her mouth shut.

"Why is he taking such a risk," she asked me. I sighed before responding.

"I don't know Yuzu, let's just trust him, ok? Yuya isn't some noob, I'm sure he knows what he is doing." I responded with a thumbs up. She didn't look to convinced, however.

"I activate Pleiades special ability." Said Dipper, deciding not to stay on the sidelines and let Yuya do his thing. "Now by using one overlay unit, Odd-Eyes returns to your hand."

The monster disappeared as Yuya fell of him one more on top of the building the action card was at.

"I play the trap Performapal Revival," said Yuya as he struggled to hang on to the building. "Since his special ability sent Odd-Eyes back to my hand. I can special summon a Performapal back from my graveyard. Get set to slice and dice swordfish." His monster returned to the field as Yuya grabbed it and plunged it to the side of the building to prevent him from falling off.

Performapal Swordfish LV 2 (ATK 600/ 600)

"Nice," I said

"You baited me with that pendulum dragon." Dipper started as Yuya finally grabbed his action card "But it won't matter, I play cosmic arrow. And its aiming to take out that action spell, you just picked up." An arrow shot from the card destroying the action card. "So, what are you going to do now?"

"I'm out of moves I end my turn"

I looked at Dipper. 'I wonder what he is going to do next. His monster is out of overlay units, so its effects are now useless. Is he going to go for the strike and deal more monsters to Yuya's life points or is he going to xyz summon again.

"My turn!" Dipper drew in delight. The tide was in his favour currently

Dipper looked at his card a bit surprised at what It held. 'How did this get in my deck? Hmph its not like it will ever come to this anyway' he thought.

"I summon Constellar Sombre"

Constellar Sombre LV 4 (ATK 1550/ DEF 1600)

"And now say goodbye to any chance, you had of winning this duel because with sombre ability, by banishing a constellar monster from my graveyard, I can add to my hand a different constellar from my graveyard and I choose Constellar Kaus." Dipper added the monster from his grave to his hand, smirking confidently. "But I'm not done yet Yuya, because on the turn that this ability is activated. I'm allowed to summon it too."

Constellar Kaus LV 4 (ATK1800/DEF 700)

"Two monsters with the same level? Then that means-" Yuzu started

"Things just got worse for Yuya." I finished sternly.

"Hold on. I still have Kaus's ability to play," Dipper raised his hand as his monster raised its arrow "As you may remember, with it I can raise the level of a monster by one twice per turn and the two monsters ill be targeting are sombre and Kaus."

Constellar Sombre LV 5 (ATK 1550/ DEF 1600)

"Level 5, now good."

"Not for you it isn't, because now I overlay my two monsters." Dippers monsters once again turned into yellow lights as the xyz portal opened again. Diving into the portal the monsters began to change as a light exploded out from it.

"I build the overlay network and xyz summon another Rank 5 Constellar Pleiades."

Constellar Pleiades Rank 5 (ATK 2500/DEF 1500)

"Wait another one… and here I thought he was going to summon something interested." I complained as Sora nodded along with me.

"Haha, don't you worry. This power packed pair won't be together for long. One of them has got far better things to do or perhaps I should say, a far better monster that its about to create right now."

"ooooo," me and Sora said as we stared excitedly towards the screen. The Chairwomen just looked at us like we had grown second heads. 'I guess she doesn't like how relaxed we are ha-ha' I thought. It wasn't like either of us where worried that Yuya would lose anyway but the duel could go anyway.

"The stars are in alignment. By overlaying Constellar Pleiades. I can Xyz summon another even stronger Constellar monster."

"Even stronger? How?" Asked Yuya In shock.

"Observe yourself, Yuya"

Light once again rose from the portal as a ferocious dragon appeared.

"Observe, the great, the mighty, Rank 6 Constellar Ptolemy M7."

Constellar Ptolemy M7 Rank 6 (ATK 2700/DEF 2000)

"Now that is one sweet monster," Sora said in amazement.

"Mhm agreed," I said before we were smacked with Yuzu's paper fan again.

"WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON!!"

"Damn, does she just keep that thing in her inventory everywhere, the hell." I complained rubbing my head in pain.

"This is so not sweet," said Sora

"Perhaps now you all understand why its best Leo takes over your teachings. That is if we even go as far as to reinstate any of you." The chairwomen laughed.

"Yuya isn't out yet," Gong said with determination as I nodded.

Another flash of light signalling another action card shone from behind Yuya.

"Turn Toad Spring to it." Yuya called out to his monster as he jumped on the toad, and they sprung towards the place. "Come on hurry"

"Not so fast," said Dipper darkly. "I activate Constellar Pleiades ability, by using one overlay unit, Performapal Turn Toad leaps back into your hand." The monster dispersed as Yuya was sent flying down from the air. He didn't give up though as he kept running. "And now Pleiades attack swordfish."

However, the monsters attack made the building collapse as Yuya was right under it.

"Yuya, lookout." Said the three kids

"Yuya!" Shouted Yuzu with worry evident on her face.

With determination Yuya leapt forward as the building came down. As the dust was settling, The You show students plus Gong looked at the scenery with worry. The dust finally settled revealing Yuya with the action card held up high in his hand.

Yuya LP: 400

"Alright!" shouted Yuzu with a smile.

"No way... This cant be!" Said Dipper with worry.

"Yes, it can and now I activate the action spell, Twinkle Comet. Now until the end of the turn your monster's attack power decrease by 1000 and you take 500 points of damage."

Constellar Ptolemy M7 Rank 6 (ATK 1700/DEF 2000)

Dipper LP: 3500

"You fool, all you have done is prolonged the inevitable. But if you want to experience more suffering, works for me." Said Dipper with a glare. "I activate the spell card Constellar Tempest. Only when I have two or more xyz monsters on the field can this storm get brewing. Or perhaps I should say firestorm and this fire will take its toll on your life points on the end of my turn, torturing it in half."

A large fire rock fell behind Yuya sending him flying

Yuya LP: 200

"My monsters attack points also go back to its original number. I set one card face down then end my turn your all mine next round. This duel is over."

"What do you think a Duel is?!"

"Yeah!" The two kids shouted

"Silence! A Duel is a fight! If it's to win you can't be picky about your methods!"

"You're wrong!" shouted Yuya

"Duelling is about, the passion of your play." Yuzu and I looked at him a little surprised as we remembered the mask man saying the same thing.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! The fun has just begun!"

"Alright! I summon Performapal Trampolynx!"

"When this card is successfully summoned, I can return one card on my Field to my hand! And I choose the scale 1 Stargazer magician"

"What but he was part of the pendulum." Tate said

"Looks like Yuya is planning something." I spoke.

"The one who will take Stargazer magician's place is... My Turn toad!"

"Huh?"

"What?"

"Now, your attention please!" shouted Yuya with his hands raised high into the air. "I'm using the Scale Three Turn Toad and Scale Eight-time gazer magician to set the Pendulum Scale! With this I'm able to summon multiple monsters from Level Four to Seven! Swing far Pendulum carve the arc of victory! Ready or not, here they come!" Yuya raised his hands up into the air as his monsters escaped from the hole. "First, I'll cast Stargazer magician in a starring role and now for the appearance of the main star of today's event! Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

Stargazer Magician LV5 (ATK 1200/DEF 2400)

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon LV 7 (ATK 2500/DEF 2000)

"Constellar Pleiades effect activates! By using one Overlay Unit, Odd-Eyes is returned to your hand!"

"I think not! The main event is immortal!"

"What?!"

"I activate Stargazer Magician's special ability. Once per turn when a Pendulum Monster I possess leaves the field, I can Special Summon that Monster right back! Give it up for another splendid entrance, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!"

"He did it!" I spoke

"He can defeat Pleiades with Odd-Eyes' double damage effect!" said Yuzu in excitement

"Sorry to burst your bubble Yuzu but actually, he can't," I said

"Like Kai already said, xyz have Ranks not Levels! So Odd-Eyes effect won't activate," said sora with a lick of his lollipop. "And besides Odd-Eyes only doubles battle damage, it doesn't increase its actual attack power!"

"Then he can't win?" Said the deflated Yuzu. Her mood now ruined by the news.

"Cheer up Yuzu," I said with a smile as she turned to me. "Yuya said it himself, didn't he? The fun has just begun!"

"Now it's finally time for the climax! Turn toad's Pendulum effect activates! Until the end of the turn, it can flip the ATK and DEF of one Pendulum Monster! I choose Stargazer Magician! In addition, I activate the spell card: Magical Star Illusion!" Said the excited Yuya as a spell card appeared in front of him. "As long as Stargazer magician remains on the field, until the end of this turn all monsters on either player's Field, equal to the total of their monster's Levels times, have their ATK increased!"

"The Levels of the monsters on Yuya's field are!" Said the excited Yuzu.

"Odd-Eyes at Seven," said Tate

"Stargazer at Five," said Allie

"And Trampolynx at Two," said Fredrick

"For a total of Fourteen!" Sora finished.

"Each of their individual ATK's will go up by then? B-but won't the opponent's ATK go up too?"

"Like I keep saying..."

"Ah, I get it now!" Yuzu clasped here hand. "XYZ don't have Levels so- his opponent's ATK will stay the same!"

"What?!" said the shocked Dipper

"Now then shall we get started?" Yuya once again jumped on his favourite monster. "I use Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to attack Constellar Ptolemy M7! Spiral flame strike!" Odd-Eyes let out a powerful beam which headed straight for Ptolemy M7, destroying it.

Dipper LP: 2300

"After that Stargazer magician attacks Pleiades!" As Yuya's magician headed towards Dipper looks at his face down in frustration as he gritted his teeth. He looked around desperately for an action card, but Stargazer magician wasted no time in destroying Pleiades sending him flying once again.

Dipper LP:1000

'No I can't lose. If I lose here now, I might get kicked out of Leo. Sorry Yuya, I didn't want it to have to end like this but here goes nothing." Hardening his resolve Dipper opened his eyes with determination.

"And now for the finisher! Trampolynx g-!" Yuya started before he was interrupted.

"Not so fast. I activate the trap card RING OF DESTRUCTION!!" Dipper shouted.

"What!!" I shouted as Sora's lollipop fell to the ground. Everyone looked in shock even the Chairwomen and her Leo students.

"Since when did he even have that card," said Julia.

"With this card, we each take damage equal to one of your monsters attack points." Dipper continued.

"Wait but that means-" Yuzu started as she put her hands to her mouth not believing it.

"They both lose." I finished for here.

"I choose your precious Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon." Suddenly a red ring appeared on Yuya's dragon. "We each take 2500 points of damage"

his monster exploded sending both Yuya and Dipper flying.

Authors note: Yuya fought a great duel and almost won. Shame dipper had that card. Also, if you're wondering how he does, it'll be explained in the next chapter. What's going to happen now that Yuya Sakaki has lost stay tuned for the next chapter.

P.S: After this I'm going to be changing somethings in both Yuya and Yuzu's deck, hopefully. So, duels will probably change a lot in the future. For now, enjoy.
