"Why are you beaming so much?" Olivia frowned at Tika who was smiling so much while sipping her drink "didn't you see the turn out of the game? or are you pretending not to know..."Tika raised a brow, Olivia was more informed than her however the latter was indifferent to the match the school won

Even more Hades had been recruited to play in a small state football team, this was big news in the whole school

"Do you really think Hades will want to continue to be with you?" Olivia asked staring intently at Tika she wondered what Tika thought on this "what do you mean?" Tika was offended, her eyes stared guardedly at Olivia, to her Olivia was just jealous after having several failed relationships over the years without having any long lasting relationship

"What do I mean…..?" Olivia trailed off clearly amused at Tika naivety, was Tika just blinded by love or she was just a fool? She thought "Hades wouldn't want to continue to be with you….. that's what I mean!" Olivia blurted out, Tika froze "you are just jealous!" Tika sneered at Olivia, her man was hers and no one else could take him from her "you are delusional, you really think he'll pick you over his career?" Olivia laughed in mockery, Tika trembled internally "you're just jealous" Tika spat defiantly, Olivia laughed. "He hasn't taken you on a proper date all this months why can't you see the bigger picture?" Olivia questioned, she knew Tika wasn't so stupid but she also knew Tika was deeply in love with Hades

Hades wasn't the one who did the chasing in fact it was her very own roommate Tika who was smitten over Hades beauty just like everyone else

"You know he works to pay off his bills plus he's not from a rich family! How can I be inconsiderate? That's why you never had a long lasting relationship because you never considered others" Tika spat her words out hatefully as she begun to pack her bag "at least I was selfish enough not to be used" Olivia chuckled as she went back to her things

This conversation wouldn't have happened if Tika left her alone "you're a hater!" Tika hissed and ran off. "So stupid" Olivia snorted

Arriving outside the apartment, Tika dialed Hades, she was on the verge of tears

"Hello" a female's voice came through from the other end and Tika trembled "who are you….. what are you doing with his phone!" Tika frowned, her whole body trembled violently with several scenarios playing in her mind

"Who are you...?"the other party asked before glancing at Hades who had just gotten out of the shower with a towel draped around his waist "who is it?" Hades asked Isabella who had his phone in her hands, Tika could hear his voice confirming her fears "who is she? Isabella asked with a frown settling on her lips "Hang up its just one of those girls from school" Hades replied as he begun to get dressed, their make out session was intense leaving several love marks scattered all over Isabella's body "are you leaving already without a kiss?" Isabella's voice was seductive and Hades leaned over for a kiss before grabbing his phone, he didn't even bother to check the caller ID before he hung up directly. This action greatly pleased Isabella

Tika lowered her eyes to hide her tears, it hurt so much.... She felt suffocated, her heart was broken. It hurt, it hurt so much...…

Oceana glanced at Leo who had his mouth stuffed with food while she designed on her laptop. The little man was a foodie, he loved to eat and loved whatever she cooked him "big sis.... You lied" Leo bit down at the taco's before staring at Oceana with his mouth stuffed.

For the past three days Oceana went to work or stayed at home hence he'd ask her to make him something to eat, Everytime he was back from school "lied…?" Oceana raised a brow, her eyes gleamed with interest as she stared at him "big sis cooks so well" he muttered whilst eating, she turned to the character displayed on the screen "big sis didn't lie... big sis doesn't know how to cook that well" she finally said whilst thinking about how to modify this character,

"Big sis meals are so delicious" Leo continued to stufff his mouth, Oceana's brows couldn't help creasing seeing him eat so much "big sis" he suddenly called out, his big brown eyes stared at Oceana. His lips trembled slightly making him appear pitiful

"Don't cry" she warned fearing he might really cry, she didn't want to deal with his tantrums now "big sis…. Promise you won't allow them take me away?" Leo bit his lips as he walked up to Oceana and snuggled into her arms "them?" Oceana's gaze darkened

"Daddy's ex" Leo trembled, his worst fears was his mother coming to take him away and his daddy did say she was coming soon

He was scared

"She won't take you away if you don't want to" Oceana hugged him "big sis….. do you promise?" Leo asked with his eyes wide with curiosity, he was seriously waiting on Oceana's answer "I can't promise.... They are your parents, however if you are unwilling I won't allow them take you away" Oceana replied honestly, she knew it wasn't ideal to get into the way of his parents

In the end they were his parents and she was just his aunt, however being Oceana his decision mattered more than whatever his parents decided "I love you big sis" he snuggled into Oceana's chest inhaling the mild scent of soap on her

Unconsciously he fell asleep

Oceana stared at the little child, she chuckled slightly and went back to work

In the Moore villa

Nina's mother Cassandra Moore couldn't help glaring at her daughter, the whole family equally had solemn expressions

"Nina can you be more responsible….? You can't keep making mom and dad worry!" Ashlee spoke out, berating Nina who had her head hung low. She couldn't understand why everything she did in the family felt so wrong to them, even her happiness was wrong "she can't even get good grades….. that scourge still gets better grades compared to her! What example are you leaving us your siblings?" Sophia frowned with contempt. Nina clenched her fist as she glanced at both her younger siblings

" I told you I don't like music! Why force it?" Nina stared at her family defiantly, she was tired of them controlling her life and making her do things she didn't like "now you have the nerve to talk back!" Cassandra snapped causing carol to flinch, she was the youngest and the most timid. The others glanced at carol in disgust before turning to glare at Nina, at least carol could play the piano well and had won several awards but Nina could barely play the piano or the violin instead she was always jumping around with her stupid guitar.

Daniel frowned as he searched her with his eyes with hopes of finding the stupid guitar "can't I do what I want anymore? Is it just about you all so what if our ancestors were musicians and entertainers…. This was never my path!" Nina flared earning her a slap from her mother "if you can't do as we wish you might as well leave this household!" Cassandra roared angrily with both Ashlee and Sophia gloating at Nina's misfortune

She glared at them

They couldn't even play as good as carol however in the end both were their parents favorite and the favoritism was as clear as day

"Very well then" she alas relented, there was no use fighting over what could never be hers their parents love and praises were only reserved for Ashlee and Sophia and no one else "what did you say?" Daniel snapped, clearly enraged with her unruly attitude "I said very well….." Nina repeated her words defiantly causing Daniel to throw the teacup in his hands at her "dad stop please" Carol came forward to block Nina hence the teacup hit her and shattered on her instead of Nina "are you crazy!" Nina pulled carol to the side "sister please don't fight with mom and dad!" Carol bit her lips, her eyes were moist as her tears threatened to fall, Nina glanced at her two younger sisters Ashlee and Sophia

"Apologize to mum and dad and quit being so annoying" Ashlee spoke first and Sophia followed "dad isn't well this days yet he has to worry about you..... look at mom she's gonna have a heart attack!" Sophia added "I'm leaving" Nina held carol's hand and ran up the stairs "let her go once she comes back running back our Moore family will never accept her back"Cassandra said loudly "mom… don't speak like that... Nina's our older sister" Ashlee pouted however her eyes danced with excitement "dad you have to talk to mum….. sis is only angry" Sophia added however Daniel wasn't in the mood to speak to his good daughters. He stood up and walked up the stairs while both daughters tried to calm their mother down, Secretly gloating at Nina's misfortune

"Sis….." Carol tried to speak however under Nina's cold glare she shut her mouth and begun to pack her own things. If Nina left she knew she couldn't stay here any longer hence her only choice was to follow Nina wherever she went

It had been the same since childhood hence carol was quite dependent on her oldest sister

The two took a long while packing their things, once they were done and came down the stairs the living room was deserted

Nina clenched her fist at her family's indifference "sis..." carol almost teared up "you have to be strong carol" Nina glanced at carol before moving the things out with the help of the housekeepers

She got into the car and drove out of the villa to her apartment which was close to school. Both sister's settled in quickly the two bedroom was soon occupied by each siblings

That night nina ordered takeout which she ate with carol. The atmosphere between the sisters was warm, they both realized they only had each other to rely on

Carol hugged Nina and cried her heart out at their parents biased attitude. Nina allowed her cry cause only by crying could carol let go of everything

The next morning Nina was woken up by the warm mellow of the piano, she walked out to Carol playing the piano with a calm expression on her face, gone was the stiff air around her and the serious expressions she always had trying to impress their parents

Even with several awards won by Carol their parents favoritism didn't change, although they didn't treat Carol unfairly however Cassandra and Daniel hated her timidity which to them it was an insult to the Moore family "good morning" Carol beamed with a smile seeing Nina, then glancing at the clock she was curious why Nina was up so early "can you cook carol?" Nina asked as she walked to the kitchen which had everything but was barely touched "barely" Carol laughed "I miss Oceana's pig trotters" she sighed and carol rolled her eyes "maybe we should get some noodles and eat that or order a meal directly" Carol suggested however Nina didn't look happy, she didn't fancy the online meals anymore, what she wanted was Oceana's cooking

However she knew she couldn't pull Oceana out here it was unreasonable and that fattie would be so angry he might bite her

"I'll call chef Ava " Carol waved her phone before dialing Ava's number, after exchanging a few words chef Ava alas agreed to come help them out

She was their favorite chef till she resigned to take care of her sick husband

Chef Ava arrived an hour later with groceries, she made breakfast for the two ladies and proceeded to clean up the house while they ate. Carol ate humming happily

"Do you really like it at music school?" Nina suddenly asked and Carol nodded, she loved playing the piano, she loved music. It felt more like she existed mainly for music

It was her calling

"What's there not to like? There are lots of piano's and you know teacher Grace is now my guidian teacher" Carol beamed as she continued to eat "do you want to join music school?" Carol couldn't help but ask. "Nope…. I prefer acting" Nina replied, she grimaced at the thought of having to go through so much music lectures only Carol could be excited by that not her

She was more skilled in acting and was already featuring in small movies, she also had her own live stream and had also played small roles in big movies hence regardless of whether her family supported her the Twenty three year old could support herself

Breakfast was over quickly, chef Ava cleared the dishes while the siblings went in to prepare themselves for the day

Nina dressed in a blue gown and light makeup looked quite pretty, Carol was dressed in pink

Which ascended her featured unlike Nina... Carol couldn't be considered a belle however she was beautiful with slight resemblance to Nina, both were taller than the average girls

"I have a lot to do today you don't have to wait on me" Nina spoke up once they finally got into her car "I have a date too..." Carol trailed off and Nina glanced at her nineteen year old sister in shock "when did you suddenly have a boyfriend?" Nina asked as she drove out of the parking lot however her eyes couldn't help trailing Carol's features "we just got together…. It hasn't been long" carol blushed fiercely before turning away from Nina's scrutinizing gaze, she was indeed very shy "up to you... your big sis is still very single" Nina chuckled, however her grip on the stirring wheel tightened

She couldn't help thinking about him. She had confessed to him yet he was so indifferent

She dropped Carol off at music school and then drove to campus "you drive…..?" Saki was shocked to see her. "Do I look soft to you?" Nina asked before turning to search for Oceana "where's she?" She asked "she called in saying she's busy" Saki waved her off and she glared at him "why did you upload photos with Oceana?" Cairo stormed over glaring daggers at Nina "I didn't show her face okay... I just took pictures of our matching bracelets! And her hands were so pretty I just couldn't help myself" she glared at him, knowing she liked him but being indifferent to her feelings

He was indeed a jerk

" let me see the photos!" Cairo stretched out his hands to collect her phone but she ignored him. He frowned clearly displeased "what I do with Oceana is none of your business!" She huffed being walking away

"Nina you've got to get on stage" charlotte rushed over pulling Nina as they then ran off to Nina's department where there were lots of students practicing their lines

Nina took the script and memorized it briefly before changing into her custome. The theme of the shooting was

Jeong Ui Hyeon

Which meant loyalty, righteousness and duty or felial piety

Nina snickered seeing Brianna as the protagonist while she was to play the role of the villain, she chuckled knowingly

It was time for Brianna to pay back.

In Cairo's dorm he stared at the painting on the wall, each stroke so beautiful and enchanting. He stretched his hand caressing the painting which looked too beautiful

No one would believe this painting as something that girl would make

He missed her

He yearned to hear her voice

However lately she was always busy and barely had time to even spare him a glance

He sighed staring at the painting which was a fragment of her, he could hold onto

"You're being so weird" Saki voiced out, he felt cringed seeing Cairo act like a wounded animal "mind your business" Cairo retorted, he wasn't about to waste his saliva on someone who knew nothing about love "you really aren't over Tiffany" Saki sighed feeling pity for his friend

Hadn't Cairo acted so cool after the breakup why then was he hurting now? Saki couldn't understand

All his relationships had failed mostly because he didn't have outstanding looks, compared to Cairo who was both good looking with a good physique

He Saki was neutral

He was barely taller than the average girl adding to the fact that he was skinny. The girls surely didn't fancy him

Now he was really considering his advantages at being gay

Cairo glared at him knowing Saki's thoughts had drifted to his stupid gay fantasies "get lost" he frowned at Saki who shrugged before walking out with a towel on his head

Cairo slumped into his bed still staring at the painting…. Was he over his ex? Yes he was Tiffany couldn't even hold a candle to Oceana plus she cheated all through the relationship why then would he want such a person back he wasn't crazy in the slightest bit and was very sane

His phone rang and he picked up at the third ring "Saki don't bother me!" He grunted ready to hang up "where's the painting I asked you for? You idiot!... You dare post such a fine painting without giving this old man!" His father roared and Cairo checked the caller Id

He was now certain this was his father "dad..." he paused slightly allowing the old man to catch his breathe "you've gotten bolder!" Silas roared over the line, Cairo's mother sighed as she massaged her husband's temple "it was a gift from the girl I like dad" Cairo tried to explain, he knew he couldn't escape his fathers wrath, after Silas had asked for the painting still he didn't want to give it

"I don't care... bring the painting home and get another one for yourself, your relationships never lasted anyway what use is holding onto something that would still crash" Silas mocked and Cairo bit his lips

Does that mean he didn't stand a chance?

He couldn't give up

" no dad….. you can get another painting at the aunction and I won't get another one of this….. it's Oceana Lyndon!" Cairo said loudly in hopes of his father relented however Silas's next words shocked Cairo

"You don't stand a chance idiot! That girl is far more better than you.... Academically she's superior! Mentally you can't even compare! Even with the scorn from the whole world she's still firm...sooner or later she just might take over the Lyndon family. That Tristan is too incompetent" Silas voiced out his genuine thoughts on Oceana

He knew Brumble Lyndon all too well

That man was too cunning and scheming

Clinton was even more hard to read

What was their aim in all this....,,

The other may be clueless but he Silas Walter wasn't...…
