Love Genius

Chapter 4: Chapter 3

[Chapter 3]

Campus

“There’s something going on over there,” Ami said, pointing toward the bulletin board. A crowd of students had gathered around it.

“Let’s check it out,” Elisha suggested.

When we got there, we had to push through the crowd of students. Once we made it to the front, the four of us were stunned. There was a picture of me from yesterday’s medal ceremony, and above it was written:

“Congratulations, Ms. Garnett Sardoncillo, from the owner of Alvarez University.”

WOW!

“Omg! So, you’re the one they’re all excited about, Garnett!” Hazel exclaimed.

“Wow, the school owner even congratulated you,” Ami added.

“Aren’t Raven’s parents the owners of this school? So, that means they’re the ones who greeted you through this poster. Ayiieee!” Ami teased.

I couldn’t help but smile.

“Move aside!” someone suddenly shouted, pushing us so hard we nearly fell.

We turned to see who it was.

“What’s your problem? Why push us like that?!” I asked, only to realize it was Sarrah’s minions. Tsh!

“Why are you ugly freaks even here? Huh?!” Dana sneered.

“Excuse me, we’re here because our friend’s name is on the bulletin board,” Elisha replied.

“Oh, this?” Shiela walked up to the poster, ripped it off the board, and tore it in front of us.

“You seriously think this is what everyone is crowding around for? Dream on, freaks!” Dana added.

I was stunned as I watched Shiela destroy the poster meant for me. She threw the shredded pieces in my face before crossing her arms with her gang.

“There’s an announcement about a school activity on the bulletin board, and that’s what everyone is excited about—not your stupid poster,” Rhea said smugly.

We turned our attention to the bulletin board and, sure enough, there was an announcement next to where my congratulatory poster had been. But still, they had no right to destroy it!

“You’re unbelievable! Who do you think you are to destroy something meant for Garnett?!” Hazel snapped.

The four of them laughed mockingly. The other students around us were now watching like it was a live boxing match.

“Wannabe losers! You think you’re hot stuff just because your name is on the bulletin board?!” Jeniel spat.

“Did we even say anything?!” Elisha shot back, clearly pissed.

“Ugly ducklings!” Rhea taunted.

I was starting to lose my temper.

“Hold me back, or I’m going to fight them,” I whispered to my friends, rolling up my sleeves.

“Oh? You wanna fight?” Dana challenged with a sneer.

The tension was thick when suddenly—

“WHOAAA! PLACE YOUR BETS! WHO WILL WIN? THE STAR PRINCESSES OR THE MOON FREAKS?!”

“STAR PRINCESSES!”

“GO MOON FREAKS!”

“What’s going on here?”

We all froze when Mr. Alvarez suddenly arrived.

OMG! RAVEN’S HANDSOME DAD, MR. RAVIL ALVAREZ!

He approached us, and the crowd fell silent.

“You’re Ms. Sardoncillo, right?” he asked me.

OMG, DADDY! HUHUHU! CHARZ!

“Y-Yes, I am,” I replied, bowing my head.

“Finally, we meet. Congratulations to you,” he said, making me internally squeal.

“Thank you, Sir Alvarez.”

I glanced at Sarrah’s group, and they were glaring daggers at us. Tsh! Jealous frogs!

“Dad?”

I turned and saw Raven approaching. OMG, Raven! He walked toward his dad—not me, sadly.

“I’ve been looking for you,” Mr. Alvarez said.

“Sorry, Dad. I didn’t know you were here,” Raven replied.

“By the way, we have dinner later, so come home early,” his dad instructed.

“Okay,” Raven said, giving a small smile before glancing briefly at me. Gosh!

Mr. Alvarez turned back to me. I smiled widely.

“Congratulations again, Ms. Sardoncillo,” he said.

“Thank you again, Dadd—uh, I mean, Mr. Alvarez,” I stammered, scratching my head awkwardly.

He nodded, smiled, and left. I looked at Raven, who was still staring at me.

What? For three whole seconds! Then he walked away, too.

“Tsh. Such wannabes!” Dana muttered before leaving with her group. Whatever!

“Why was Raven staring at you like that?” Elisha asked.

“I don’t know,” I replied.

“Ayiieee, maybe he likes you now!” Ami teased.

I smiled but quickly dismissed the thought.

“Impossible,” I said.

“Why?” Elisha asked.

“Because we’re ugly ducklings,” Hazel answered.

I sighed deeply and picked up the shredded poster.

“What a waste. I’ll just piece it back together,” I said.

After that, we headed to class. Our subject was Philosophy of Man. During the lecture, our teacher started joking—at our expense.

“Is it true that humans evolved from monkeys?” he asked while looking directly at us. WOW!

We stayed silent as our classmates turned to stare at us, too. WOW, HA! It’s like they were outright calling us monkeys. Tsh!

“Sir!” I raised my hand.

“Yes, Ms. Sardoncillo?” he asked.

I stood up.

“According to Bing Su, a geneticist at the Kunming Institute of Zoology, this was the first attempt to understand the evolution of human cognition using a transgenic monkey model,” I explained.

“What does that mean?” he asked.

I adjusted my glasses.

“Simply put, Sir, monkeys were used to understand human physiology better,” I clarified.

“But Ms. Sardoncillo, the question is whether humans evolved from monkeys,” he asked pointedly.

I smiled.

“If I may ask, Sir, where did you come from? How did you come to exist as a human?” I asked.

“Easy, I was born from my mother,” he replied, playing along.

“Exactly, Sir. Would you call your mother a monkey? Humans give birth to humans, not monkeys. That’s all,” I said before sitting back down.

My friends stifled their laughter, but I couldn’t help but giggle a little, too.

---

At break time, we went to the canteen.

“Are you going to eat?” Jerome asked as we walked in.

“No, we’re just going to use the restroom here,” Hazel replied sarcastically, making the three of us laugh.

“What do you want to eat? I’ll treat you,” Calvin said, putting an arm around me. I quickly shrugged him off.

“Wow, picky, aren’t we?” Arvin teased.

“We can afford our own food,” I replied, dragging my friends toward the menu.

“So, what are we getting?” Elisha asked.

We all stared at the menu.

“Hmm, how about we try the Big Ducks?” I suggested.

“Sure, let’s split it,” Ami agreed.

“Alright.”

We pooled our money together. By the way, Big Ducks is basically a grilled whole chicken, like Mang Inasal’s.

“One Big Ducks, please,” I ordered.

“Oh, you must really like Big Ducks, huh?” the vendor teased weirdly.

“Uh, well, we’re sharing it between the four of us,” I clarified.

“Oh, four of you. Got it,” she said with a laugh. Tsh, weirdo!

I felt someone put their arm around me again. I turned to see Calvin—again. I immediately stepped away.

“Don’t touch me,” I said firmly.

He smirked.

“Wow, acting all high and mighty. Do you think you’re pretty?”

“And do you think you’re handsome?”

“Fine,” he said, finally walking away.

After ordering, I joined my friends at our table and glanced over at the Star Prince group. Where was Raven?

“Hey, eat up,” Ami said.

I sighed deeply.

“Looking for Raven?” Elisha teased.

I nodded while chewing.

“Speaking of your crush, he’s here,” Hazel suddenly said.

A banana shake was placed in front of me. I looked up to see who put it there and froze mid-bite.

“For you,” Raven said with a small smile before walking away.

What?! I stared at the banana shake, then at him sitting at another table.

Wait. Is this for real?!

“Omg! Omg! Garnett!” Elisha squealed excitedly.

I was still in shock.

“Raven gave you a banana shake, Garnett. Yiieeee!” Ami exclaimed.

I swallowed hard and gently picked up the shake.

OMG, why did he give me this? And he said, for you?! Aaaahhhhhhh!

After eating, I let my friends go ahead to class. I went to the restroom, splashed water on my face, and stared at my reflection in the mirror. I couldn’t stop smiling.

Even now, I still couldn’t believe it. He gave me a banana shake. But why?

Why did he give it to me? What's the reason? Hays! I haven’t even thanked him yet. After going to the restroom, I left right away. As I was walking down the corridor, my pace slowed down. It’s because Raven is here!

He saw me. I planned to turn back, but it was too late. He sped up his pace and approached me. I froze in place.

"Garnett, I need to tell you something," he said. OMG! My heart!

"W-What is it?" I smiled nervously.

He smiled back. I feel like I’m about to faint! Just kidding!

"Do you know where our restaurant is?" he asked.

Wait—Alvarez Restaurant? I nodded quickly while smiling.

"I know. Why?" I asked.

"Let’s eat together. At 3 PM, I’ll pick you up," he said with a smile before leaving.

OMG?! Seriously?! I wanted to jump and scream out of sheer excitement, but I held back since people were watching me. Haha! Calm yourself, Garnett!

Fast forward!

The bell rang exactly at 3 PM, and I hurriedly packed my things.

"Hey, where are you going?" Elisha asked.

I smiled at her and our other two friends.

"Raven invited me out for lunch," I said, blushing.

The three of them exchanged wide-eyed glances.

"Omg! Really?!" Hazel exclaimed.

"Yep," I confirmed.

"I’m so jealous! Huhu!" Ami said.

"Wait, are you skipping class for this?" Elisha asked.

I nodded.

"Alright, we support you no matter what happens," Hazel said.

I smiled at her gratefully.

"Garnett! Someone’s calling you!" one of our classmates shouted. The three craned their necks to see who it was.

"Omg, Garnett! Raven’s here!" Ami said excitedly.

My heart raced. Oh my god! I stood up and grabbed my things.

"I’m off now, okay?" I said, waving goodbye.

"Good luck, girl. Represent the freaks proudly!" Hazel teased. I laughed and nodded.

When I stepped out of the classroom, I saw Raven with his back turned.

I took a deep breath and composed myself. Alright, here goes!

"Uh, R-Raven..."

He turned around instantly.

"Oh? Are you ready?"

I nodded and smiled, and we started walking side by side. Yieee!

"Raven?" A voice stopped us. It was Sarah Patatas, standing in front of us. Both Raven and I paused. She glared at me, and I averted my eyes. Ugh, such a nuisance.

"Where are you going?" Sarah asked Raven.

"To eat," he replied briefly. Ha! Serves you right!

"To eat? With her?!" She turned to me with irritation. Haha!

"Yeah, why?" Raven asked.

"Why? I should be asking you that! Why are you with that freak?!"

"I’m sorry, Sarah, but we have to go," Raven said, taking my wrist and pulling me away. OMG! He’s holding my wrist!

When we reached the parking lot, he let go. Hays!

Wait?! We’re riding in his car?! Is this real, Lord?! I’m with him now, eating out, and we’re riding in his car alone?!

He opened the car door for me. Of course, no need to act coy—I got in right away, and he followed. Before starting the car, he glanced at me. I stared straight ahead, swallowing nervously.

He leaned closer to me suddenly.

I leaned back, eyes wide in surprise. He looked puzzled.

Gulp.

"Seatbelt," he said.

Ohhh!

"O-Oh, that’s it?" I stammered, fumbling for the seatbelt. I couldn’t find it. Where is it? He chuckled softly, and I glanced at him. He looked at me too.

Thud-thud-thud!

His face is so close!

I quickly looked away. Oh my god, Garnett!

"Here," he said, grabbing the seatbelt from above and fastening it for me. While he was buckling me in, I stole a glance at his face. He’s so handsome! Huhu!

After he finished, he looked at me again, and I quickly averted my gaze. He moved even closer. Oh no?!

"You know what? You’d look better without glasses," he said.

R-Really???

"Wait, let’s try," he said, gently taking off my glasses.

When he removed them, everything turned blurry because of my poor eyesight.

"See? You’re beautiful without glasses," he said.

WEH??? ME? BEAUTIFUL?? REALLY???

"Uh, it’s just that my vision is blurry, so I really need to wear them," I explained, carefully taking back my glasses and putting them on.

He nodded and moved away. Whoaa, I exhaled deeply. Finally!

He started driving.

While on the road, it was quiet. I looked out the window and saw a big poster of Liza Soberano. Hays, I wish I were that pretty. Soon, the car stopped.

"We’re here," he said, getting out first and opening my door. Yieee! He walked ahead of me into the restaurant, and the staff bowed to him.

"Is Dad here?" Raven asked them.

"He just left, Sir Ravil," one of the staff replied.

Raven nodded.

"Alright. We’ll take the private room. Please serve the special dishes," he instructed.

I swallowed nervously, feeling giddy. Hays!

"Yes, Sir."

Raven looked at me, and I was startled when he extended his hand toward me. I looked at him.

"Shall we?" he asked.

"U-Uh, sure."

As I raised my hand, it trembled.

"Let’s go," he said, grabbing my hand and leading me. Kyaaaa! I could die happy now!

The room we entered was stunning. I’ve never been to such a fancy restaurant, let alone in a private room. We sat down, with him across from me. I couldn’t look at him much.

Calm down, Garnett! Don’t let him see how awkward you feel, or he might notice! I glanced at him again. He was on his phone.

Tsk?! Alright, deep breaths.

"U-Uh, Raven, can I ask you something?"

He looked at me.

"Sure, what’s up?"

"Hmm, w-why did you invite me, y-you know?" I swallowed nervously.

He set his phone down and looked at me directly.

"Because...we’re friends," he said.

I paused for a moment. F-Friends? We’re friends now? I couldn’t speak.

"Garnett, don’t be shy," he said, smiling at me.

"I-I’m not shy. It’s just hard to believe that... someone like you invited me to eat here," I said, blushing.

He chuckled a little.

"Why not? I’m not an alien to be different. We’re all just people, and you’re my friend," he said, smiling again.

I smiled back.

"But you’re famous, handsome, rich, and well-known on campus. And me? I’m just a lowly freak."

He laughed again. Why does he find that funny?

"Don’t say that you’re a freak. You’re amazing, you know."

Yieee!

"I want to be your friend. I want to get close to you. Honestly, I’m tired of always being with the star section. I wanted something different."

I nodded, smiling.

"So, officially friends?" he said, extending his hand for a handshake. I smiled and took it immediately, shaking his hand.

"Alright, friends," I said.

I’m happy now—so happy because you yourself said that I’m your friend.

A little later, our food arrived.

"Eat up. Don’t worry, it’s on me," he whispered with a laugh. I was delighted to see him smile and laugh like that.

"You know why I invited you and not the star section? Because my Dad scolded me," he said.

I laughed.

"Why?"

"They go overboard when ordering. Just because it’s free, they abuse it," he said.

I didn’t reply and just glanced at one of the dishes served. It looked like a salad made of raw vegetables.

"You like this?" he asked.

"That’s vegetable salad, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, do you like it?"

"No. I don’t eat raw vegetables."

He laughed again.

"It’s not entirely raw; it’s half-cooked, so it’s edible," he explained.

"I’ll pass. I’ll just have the chicken adobo," I pointed out, making him chuckle and shake his head.

"Alright," he said, standing up to serve me some rice and chicken adobo.

When he sat down, I got up to add more rice to my plate, then started eating immediately.

"You have quite the appetite," he said, seemingly surprised.

"Uh, hehe, not really."

"Is the adobo good?" he asked.

I nodded enthusiastically.

"Yes, it’s delicious. Different from any adobo I’ve ever tasted. What’s the secret?"

"That’s actually one of the special dishes here at the restaurant, and it’s my mom’s favorite," he shared.

Yieee! He’s opening up to me!

"Really?"

"Yep. My Dad created the recipe, which is why it’s so good."

Wow! No wonder it tastes amazing!

"So, Mr. Alvarez is a chef?"

He nodded and smiled.

---

"Yeah. And that's something I didn't inherit from Dad," he said, sounding a bit sad.

I stopped eating.

"You know, sometimes I feel like I disappoint him."

I took a deep breath. "We all have our own talents and dreams for the future. What do you want to be someday?" I asked him.

He seemed to think about it for a moment.

"Actually, I’m not sure yet."

I smiled at him.

"That's okay. It’s normal to feel that way. We don’t need to force ourselves into something we don’t want. The time will come when you'll realize what you truly want to do," I said reassuringly.

He slowly smiled and nodded. After that, we finished our meal.

Since we had a good conversation, I started feeling less shy around him. Hihi!

We were now walking outside the restaurant.

"Can I ask you something?" he said.

"Sure," I replied.

"Do students from the star section always bully you?"

We both stopped walking, and I turned to face him.

"What do you think?" I asked.

"Yes?" he guessed.

I smiled and nodded.

"Yes, but don't worry. We’re used to it," I said, laughing.

"I'm really sorry for what they’ve done to you. You don’t deserve it. In fact, you’re the ones who should be looked up to," he said sincerely.

I bit my lip. Gosh! I couldn’t smile wide enough.

"Raven, son?"

We both turned to look.

Oh my gosh?! Is that his mom? Is she Mrs. Charlene Alvarez?! She's stunning!

"Mom?" Raven asked.

"Oh, you have company?"

"Ah yes. This is Garnett, Garnett Sardoncillo," Raven introduced me. His mom looked directly at me.

"Wait, does that mean you’re one of the top students on campus? And one of the scholars under our program?" she asked.

"Ah yes, Ma'am, and thank you so much for all the support with my scholarship," I said.

"You deserve it, Garnett. Congratulations," she said with a smile. Yiiieeeee! I'm slowly getting to know Raven’s family!

"Thank you, Ma'am," I replied.

"You're welcome. Alright, Raven, make sure to take her home," his mom instructed. Yiiieee!

"Yes, Mom. Don’t worry," Raven said as his mom went back inside. I took a deep breath and looked at Raven.

"Thank you," I said.

"You're welcome. I hope we can do this again sometime," he said.

Aaaaaahhhhhh!!

"S-Sure, I’d love that," I replied.

He smiled and nodded.

"Shall we? I'll take you home."

I nodded and smiled.

---

"Here’s fine, Raven," I said.

"Alright," he said, pulling the car to a stop. As I got out...

"You live here?"

"Ah yes, with the three of them," I replied.

"Really? So, you’re living apart from your parents?"

"Yep, that’s how it is," I said.

He fell silent for a moment.

"Alright, you should head inside. It’s getting late," I said.

He smiled.

"Alright, bye. Thank you, Garnett," he said, smiling before driving off.

"Oh my gosh!" I squealed, trying not to scream. My heart! Okay, deep breaths, Garnett! Yiiieeee! Haha!

When I entered the house, I almost had a heart attack. The three of them were waiting by the door.

"Ayiiiiieee! Prince Raven took her home!" Hazel teased.

"With a ‘thank you, Garnett,’ too! Ayiiiiieee!" Elisha added.

"Too bad there wasn’t even a goodnight kiss," Ami joked.

Tss.

"Stop it, you three. Anyway, I brought food," I said, taking out the leftovers we didn’t eat earlier.

While the three of them were eating, I just sat there, smiling as I replayed everything that happened tonight in my head.

Yiiieeee, what’s happening to you, Garnett?!

"Uuuuyyy, she’s daydreaming," Elisha teased.

"What happened? Spill!" Ami asked.

I looked at the three of them.

"We’re friends now," I said.

Their eyes widened.

"Oh my gosh?! For real?" Hazel asked.

I nodded with a smile.

"Wait, how did that happen?" Ami asked.

"He said we’re friends now. He also mentioned that he gets tired of hanging out with the star section sometimes and wants something different," I explained.

"Does that mean we can be his friends, too?" Elisha asked excitedly.

I nodded again.

"Kyaaaaaaaaaa!!" the three of them squealed in unison.

I just laughed.

---

The next morning, as we were getting ready to leave, I stared at myself in the mirror.

"See? You’re beautiful without glasses. See? You’re beautiful without glasses. See? You’re beautiful without glasses."

I covered my face with my hands, squealing. KYYYYAAAAA!!! What are you doing to me, Raven?! Huhu!

I looked at the mirror again and took off my glasses.

Everything was blurry. I couldn’t even see what I looked like in the mirror. Ugh! How can I stop wearing glasses if my vision is this bad? Life!

"Garnett, why are you taking so long? Just a reminder: glasses or no glasses, you’re not getting any prettier," Ami joked from outside.

Ouch!

I flared my nostrils and looked at her.

"Coming from you, huh?" I laughed.

"Just kidding. Come on, let’s go," she said.

"Alright, I’m coming," I said.

---

While walking down the street, we saw a couple being playful in front of us. Our eyes widened as the guy touched the girl’s backside. My goodness!

"Good heavens, Neptune of the oceans!" Hazel exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh! That’s disgusting. Yuck!" Ami said.

"You said it," Elisha added.

"Psst, be quiet! Come on, it’s their life," I said.

"I don’t care if it’s their life. It’s still gross," Elisha countered.

The couple kept showing affection in front of us. And take note, they were walking right ahead of us. Hahaha!

"It’s just love," I defended.

"Love? No, it’s just lust," Ami said, making me laugh.

The couple suddenly turned to look at us. We stopped walking. But they didn’t mind us and kept walking.

I looked at the three of them.

"Phew, that was close," I said.

"So what if they heard us?" Elisha said.

"Yeah, we’re just stating the truth," Hazel agreed.

"If they don’t want to be judged, they should move to Japan," Ami said, making me burst out laughing.

"Hahaha, yeah, and when they’re judged, they’ll say, ‘What’s wrong with what we’re doing? We’re just in love.’ Okay, that’s funny," Elisha said, laughing loudly.

"Hahaha, you three are too much," I said, chuckling.

"This place is full of judgmental people. Just because someone doesn’t say anything doesn’t mean they’re not thinking bad things about what you’re doing. If they don’t want to be bashed, then babush," Ami said.

"Alright, just let them be. It’s their life, after all. That’s why we each have our own lives, so we don’t meddle in others’," I said.

"Whatever," Elisha replied.

"That’s right, Garnett. But in reality, everyone in this world is nosy," Hazel said.

I shook my head, laughing. Life!

Campus

When we entered, I was confused because everyone was staring at me. YES, ME!!!

"I smell something, ugh," Ami remarked.

A group of freshman bullies approached us.

"Ms. Freaky, what did you feed Prince Raven, huh?" they laughed. What are they even talking about?

"What are you saying?" I asked.

They exchanged glances, laughing even harder.

"Word's out across campus that you're dating Prince Raven. Did you put a love spell on him or something?"

I was stunned by what they said and exchanged glances with the three of my friends.

"They’re probably talking about you and Raven eating out yesterday," Hazel whispered.

I swallowed nervously.

"Well, Ms. Freaky? Why won't you just admit you're dating Prince Raven? You must've bewitched him!"

I looked at my friends.

"Raven and I are just friends!" I said.

"Friends? Wow, she says they're just friends! Hahaha!"

I fell silent.

I didn’t know whether to argue or just let it go. Ugh, I knew it—they’re just going to laugh at me. Especially if they find out I have feelings for Raven.

"Let’s go, Garnett," Elisha said, pulling me along.

Just as we were about to leave, Sarrah and her group approached us.

She stared straight at me as she walked closer.

"What did you do to Raven, huh? Why would he invite you out to eat—just the two of you?!"

I furrowed my brows.

"I don’t know. So why don’t you ask him instead?" I replied.

She sighed dramatically.

"Stop pretending! Just admit it—you’re a flirt! A silent freaky flirt!"

I froze at her words, clenching my fists tightly.

"What did you just say?" I asked seriously.

She raised an eyebrow at me.

"I said you’re a flirt! A flirt, a flirt, a flirt!"

SLAP!

I slapped her.

Everyone went silent.

I-I didn’t mean to.

"How dare you!" she screamed, grabbing my hair.

"Let go, Sarrah! That hurts!" I pushed her off, adjusting my glasses.

She grabbed a can of paint nearby and poured it all over me.

"Garnett!" Ami shouted.

"You’re going too far, Sarrah!" Hazel yelled.

I was shocked by what she did, barely able to move. I was practically drenched in black paint. I wiped my glasses clean. Ugh!

"Hahaha! Serves you right, you flirt!" Sarrah sneered.

"Sarrah! Garnett?!"

I turned and saw him—Raven...

He looked shocked when he saw me. I quickly averted my gaze and looked down. Ugh! How humiliating!

He came over to us.

"What the hell is this, Sarrah?!" Raven demanded.

"Me?! She hurt me first, so she deserved it!" Sarrah shot back.

Tears welled up in my eyes. I think no one could tell because my face was covered in black paint. Will this even come off?

"Garnett, are you okay?" Raven asked, coming closer.

"I-I’m fine," I said, tears finally spilling over.

Raven sighed and gave Sarrah a deathly glare. Yes! I saw it clearly.

"Because I know Garnett did nothing wrong! You’re the ones always harassing her and her friends—they’ve done nothing to you!" Raven snapped.

"R-Really, Raven?!" Sarrah stammered, glaring at me before storming off. Her lackeys quickly followed her.

Raven turned to glare at the other students, and they all dispersed as well.

He sighed deeply, then turned back to me, pulling out a handkerchief. Gently, he wiped my face with his white handkerchief.

"S-Sorry for what happened..." he said softly.

My heart pounded as I stared at him.

Raven is just... so kind.

To be continued...
