Love Of Eternity

As I walked out of the pavilion, I took my pouch of money into my hand, I looked into it as I counted one by one while walking, I now have 3 gold coins, 45 silver and 100 copper coins.

Hm... A Gold Coin Is worth 10 silver coins, and one silver is worth 10 copper coins... Hmm... I think this will be enough to buy furniture...

I looked at my clothes.

Hm. I should probably find something new to wear.

I scanned through the streets to find a nice place to get some new clothes. And replace these ragged ones. Finally after walking around the city for some time, I got to a good clothing store.

I looked through every piece of clothing there was, and no colour caught my eyes.

Should I just go for black?.. after some time I finally decided to go for a black outfit and a robe because I saw many people outside wearing cape like robes. I slipped into a simple shirt and pants before donning my long-sleeved black outfit. The robe flowed over my shoulders, its fabric cascading down in elegant folds. The white band around my waist stood out against the dark ensemble, adding a touch of contrast.

I went to the store lady to pay for the outfit.

She was a bit old, and was running the shop alone.

"Um. Excuse me, how much do I need to pay for this miss?" I said in quite shy tone, she noticed my shyness and smiled at me.

"You look dazzling young man. I'll give you the robe for free.. just give me 10 silver coins for everything else" she said with a smile.

"Huh?.. oh, thank you!" It seemed easier for me to kill monsters than talk with other people.

"Are you sure? ... The robe seems the most valuable of what I'm buying..."

She nodded without hesitation, "it's okay... Take it, you remind me of my son, so I'd like to give it to you"

The word "son" hit me hard, maybe because I never knew I my parents, but it made me really happy in a way.

"I see... Thank you very much..."

I put 2 gold coins on the table and walked away quickly, leaving the store fearing she might return it if I stayed there.

With that, I found myself back in the city, I was feeling happy, but I didn't know why, I strolled through the city until it got late, and went back to the house in the forest, since I still didn't have furniture, I slept on the floor. It was still way better than my life before... And with that, soon I drifted into sleep, and woke up in the next morning.

I got up and left the house, and went to hunt for monsters, after a long day, I have reached the level of 6th stage of foundation establishment, though my strength was in between a 8th to 9th stage core formation cultivator.
