MARVEL: Exposing The SCP Foundation.

Chapter 30: Fifth Inventory! The Red Sea Object!

Seeing the new inventory start again, Tony had an annoyed expression. "What the hell! A new anomaly is being inventoried again"? He slumped on his couch, quite frustrated. Turning to look at the light curtain, he temporarily forgot about the record disc he held in his hand

...

SHIELD Headquarters.

"A new anomaly is about to be inventoried again". Nick Fury took a deep breath and calmed his anxiousness. At this point, he realized, without sufficient information or resources, it would be almost impossible for SHIELD to contain even a Euclid class Special Contained Object.

"I just hope it's not a Keter-class containment again this time". Nick Fury murmured to himself.

Whether it's SCP 409 Contagious Crystal, or SCP 469 Many Winged Angel, the threat they held was enough to destroy the world in a short period of time.

...

Asgard.

"That Many Winged Angel is so powerful"! "I thought I was overestimating it, but it's more powerful than I'd imagined"! Loki was amazed by the power displayed by SCP 469.

At first, he was stunned by this mortal King, who could produce such destructive shockwaves with his words alone. But seeing how SCP 469 killed him in mere seconds, then grew rapidly to envelop the entire city, he was utterly stupefied.

"Such power… would even rival the gods"! "But then again, it only grew to this state because that foolish Mortal acted as a power source. Otherwise, it wouldn't have grown so much in such a short time". Loki thought to himself.

Thor on the side looked at the light curtain and said: "These people aren't as strong as us Asgardians. If this anomaly appeared in Asgard, we would've easily annihilated it".

Loki looked at his idiot brother and said: "If these people knew about the characteristics of The Many Winged Angel, they would've managed to contain it". As he said that, Loki had a sudden thought.

"What if The Many Winged Angel was deliberately put there by the foundation"? "Perhaps they knew the existence of this king and his particular ability". Loki thought in shock. But then he shook his head, dispersing those thoughts. "Either way, the foundation isn't bold enough to send an anomaly to Asgard…. right"? He said, a bit unsure.

He turned to look at the new contents on the light curtain, muttering to himself: "I wonder what kind of anomaly will be inventoried this time".

...….

On the light curtain, new information quickly appeared

[Fifth place: Special Containment 093. Red Sea Object.]

[Object Class: Euclid.]

...

Seeing this bit of information, all the SHIELD agents, including Nick Fury and Natasha Romanoff breathed a sigh of relief. "Fortunately, it's just a Euclid class, and not a world ending disaster". Nick Fury slumped back on his chair.

In their inference, the Euclid class is far less dangerous than the Keter class. But in reality, the two classes have nothing to do with the level of danger, or the strength shown by the anomalies. Instead, they represent the difficulty of containing them. Even the most dangerous and powerful anomaly could be labelled as a safe class, as long as it takes next to no effort in containing it.

The agents all turned to look at the light curtain, where new information appeared again

[Description: SCP-093 is a primarily red disc carved from a stone composite resembling cinnabar, with circular engravings and unknown symbols carved at 0.5 cm depth around the entire object.]

Malibu, Stark Mansion.

"Disc"?!

Tony's heart skipped a beat, looking at the disc in his hand. He broke out in a cold sweat and immediately threw away the disc. After fully reading the description, he breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank God"! "It's just a regular Record disc, and there aren't any engraving on it". "I thought I was so unlucky that I'd encountered another SCP"! Tony said in a relieved tone. Turning to look at the light curtain, more information appeared.

[Deeper cuts are present on SCP-093 with a depth of 1 to 1.5 cm. SCP-093 is 7.62 cm in diameter and fits comfortably into most palms without abrasion.]

[SCP-093 will change hue when held by a living individual. The colors taken by SCP-093 are still being researched to establish a link. Current belief holds that the changes depend upon regrets carried by the holder.]

Seeing this description, Tony raised his eyebrows. "A disc that changes hue when being held by someone"? He turned to look at the record disc he'd just thrown away. Hesitating for a bit, he quickly picked it up and placed it beside the rest of the records. Then he took out all the discs one by one and confirmed they had no anomalous characteristics.

Breathing a sigh of relief, he slumped on his couch. "Fortunately, none of those record discs look anomalous". Then, he turned his attention towards the light curtain.

[If SCP-093 is removed from a mirror and not held by a person, it will seek out the nearest mirror-like surface.]

[SCP-093 has been observed to travel in the largest possible circle while rolling, building up phenomenal speed. The mechanism of this acceleration is currently unknown.]

[If an obstacle is between SCP-093 and the nearest mirror-like surface, it will use this momentum to punch through the obstacle and continue on its course at this speed.]

[It will only stop when a mirror-like surface is contacted. Despite tremendous impact velocities, no damage will be dealt to SCP-093 or the mirror.]

Seeing this bit of information, Tony thought to himself: "Interesting, but why would it seek out a mirror"? Suddenly, Tony thought of something. "No… I wouldn't be that unlucky, right"? To ease his worries, he decided to look through every mirror in his mansion.

After a while of searching, he came to his bedroom on the second floor. Walking into his closet, he suddenly froze. His heart seemed to beat out of his chest.

"Fuck"! "Fuck"! "W-Why the hell is it here"?

On a full length mirror in the closet, a red disc with many symbols engraved on its back was tightly attached to it.
