Marvel: I can summon heroes from League of Legends

Chapter 83: Chapter 79. The Mage Appears

"They all call you a superhero," Gwen said during the game.

She recounted how, in the past few days, global media had been talking about Noah, calling him a superhero. Excitement and joy filled her voice.

"Do you like that title, Gwen?" Noah asked, sensing her mood.

"Yes, 'hero' is a beautiful word. To fight to protect this world... Gwen wants to do everything she can to keep this world so wonderful," Gwen replied.

Becoming human, she began to appreciate everything connected to human life, and she wanted to protect the world that brought her so much happiness.

"Then, for you, Gwen, I'll protect this world," Noah smiled.

"Mhm!" Gwen responded with a bright smile.

"What a jerk! He played poorly himself, and now he's blaming others!" Gwen suddenly burst out, annoyed.

They were playing a team game, and thanks to their superhuman reactions, both were nearly unbeatable. However, one of their allies began to lash out when his character died, blaming the others for his failures.

She was irritated, feeling it was unfair. She was so angry that if that person were in front of her, she wouldn't hesitate to use her scissors.

"Yeah, he's truly obnoxious. He doesn't deserve tolerance. Lissandra, give him a lesson," Noah said, unwilling to forgive such behavior. He instructed Lissandra to punish the offender through the internet.

"As you say, Noah," Lissandra replied.

In one of New York's neighborhoods, in a modest home, an African-American man with dreadlocks was sitting at his computer, typing furiously and shouting insults.

Neg – that was his name – was cowardly and weak in real life, often mocked by others, but on the internet, he found a refuge where he could vent his anger without consequences. He felt safe, thinking no one could track his IP address.

This time, after losing the game and seeing his teammates dominate, Neg began to lash out at them through chat, feeling almost like a hero.

But suddenly, his screen went dark, then cracked with a loud sound – the monitor shattered with multiple fractures.

"Mom!!" Neg screamed, rushing toward the door, but as he approached, lightning shot out of every electronic device in the room, striking him right in the chest.

"AHHH!!!"

The electricity surged through his body, causing him to convulse and scream in pain. His dreads turned into a mess of frizzy hair, and after exhaling a puff of black smoke, Neg collapsed to the floor.

"Oh, my God!"

Hearing his cries, the neighbors burst into the room and saw him lying on the floor, charred and unconscious. They immediately called an ambulance.

At the hospital, it was found that Neg's life was not in danger, but his body had suffered severe burns. Lissandra, controlling the current's power, hadn't killed him, but she had left painful burns across his body.

"Noah, I punished him," Lissandra reported, indifferent to the consequences.

Seeing that the opponent had left the game, Noah smiled, "That's right. Let them know I can really reach them through the internet!"

"What happened to him?" Gwen asked, curious.

"He's on his way to the hospital," Lissandra replied.

"Oh, I hope he's alright," Gwen said with a touch of schadenfreude, folding her hands in a mock prayer.

"Don't worry about him, Gwen. Let's keep playing."

"Mhm!"

Noah enjoyed playing games with Gwen. He liked gaming himself, but since gaining access to the system, his free time had significantly decreased. Missions, studies, technology development, mastering magic – there was too much, and little time was left for entertainment. Even training had become scarce.

However, he especially enjoyed spending time playing with the sweet Gwen.

...

Night had fallen, and bright neon lights illuminated the bustling city. In the concrete jungle of the metropolis, some people hurried home after a long day, while others began their nightlife. And while everyone was busy with their own lives, a dark silhouette flew silently through the sky above the city.

This figure moved with incredible speed. When the light from the street lamps hit him, he simply passed through it, as if he were an immaterial shadow, something ethereal.

"So this is what it feels like to fly without a suit. Much cooler," Noah thought, soaring through the night sky.

Today, he wasn't wearing his PROJECT series suit but had chosen magical gear. On his head was the Deathcap of Rabadon, Ascended gloves on his hands, and a small bell hanging from his belt. The rest of his items were stowed in his equipment slot.

The magical equipment significantly boosted his magical abilities. Before, he could use magic to hover briefly, but the speed was low. Now he could freely and swiftly move over the city. Activating Ghost not only increased his speed but also made him semi-transparent, making him harder to detect.

Though his speed was still not as high as that of the armor, the sensation of strong wind touching his face was much more pleasant.

Once again, his destination was Hell's Kitchen, where he performed daily missions. Despite Noah's efforts to thin out the local gangs, new criminal groups kept emerging. He even began to wonder if they were appearing as part of some sinister plot.

Landing on the roof of a skyscraper, he looked down at this center of crime. Then he pressed the earpiece in his ear, and a blue beam scanned his face, revealing multiple red dots on the display of his high-tech glasses.

"Lissandra, find those who've especially stood out in their crimes. I'm going to deal with them," Noah requested. It wasn't yet midnight, so his daily missions hadn't refreshed. But he wanted to test the power of a new item – the Dark Seal, to see if it could absorb souls.

"Understood, Noah."

In an instant, his screen filled with red marks, illuminating Noah's face, confirming that this place deserved its reputation as a den of evil.

"Yeah, it's all painted red here," he muttered, realizing that each of these points represented people he deemed worthy of punishment.

"Alright, I'll start with a few so as not to cause a panic," Noah decided, understanding that mass killings would draw too much attention.
