Chapter 4: Settling
The world of Marvel—a universe filled with chaos and destruction. Even though he recognized that this was a blend of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it didn't make its dangers any less real. There was Thanos, the Mad Titan; Dormammu, the Dark Lord; and even the Celestials looming in this universe.
These thoughts served as wake-up calls, solidifying his resolve to grow stronger. The current year was 2008—the dawn of Marvel's madness. This was the year Tony Stark would be kidnapped by terrorists, an event that would open his eyes to the harm his actions had inflicted on the world. It marked the beginning of his journey to becoming Iron Man.
Not long after, the Hulk would reveal himself during his clash with Abomination. And following that, a torrent of chaos would unfold. Orchid had to be ready.
With his thoughts in order, Orchid sprang out of bed, feeling more energetic than he had in days. He walked to the mirror for his usual morning check-up.
Staring back at him was his reflection. Ten days ago, when he acquired the Sage Body, he hadn't fully grasped what he was getting into. Over the past few days, his physique had undergone remarkable changes. His muscles had become more defined, his body now boasting an eight-pack. His arms were toned and powerful, though not overly bulky—a perfect balance of slimness and refinement.
He had even grown an inch taller, now standing at 6'2"—the ideal height, in his opinion. Not too tall, not too short.
The final stages of his transformation, however, were the most striking. If his looks had previously garnered occasional attention, now almost every woman who passed by seemed captivated, staring at him as if entranced.
Even a few men couldn't help but give him a second glance. Nothing unusual about that, right?
As he prepared to start his day, Orchid glanced down between his legs, a grin forming on his face. Now, he could confidently say he had joined the "third leg gang."
But that was far from the most important revelation of the morning. His eyes flashed, turning a deep crimson as two tomoe spun into focus. That's right—his Sharingan had evolved, gaining its second tomoe. While this was a significant milestone, Orchid wasn't entirely surprised. With the Sage Body and a flawless Uchiha bloodline, he had expected this moment to come much sooner.
Turning his gaze to his surroundings, he marveled at the details the world revealed to him. A genuine smile spread across his face as he took in the enhanced clarity provided by his cursed eyes. The difference between his ordinary vision and the upgraded Sharingan was staggering, like comparing 240p to 4080p. Words alone couldn't do it justice.
Everything seemed to move in slow motion before his gaze. Even the tiny housefly buzzing near him appeared to be frozen in time, each movement deliberate and traceable. The power and potential of his vision filled him with excitement and anticipation for the next stages that was to come.
Another crucial piece of information in his arsenal was the Naruto franchise he had already published. With the help of the Infinity Store—a mystical marketplace operated by the Justice Point currency—he had secured the entire Naruto series in all its forms: novel, comic, and anime.
The cost had been a steep 1,000 Justice Points, but fortunately, he had taken advantage of the store's first free low-level purchase, which allowed him to acquire items under 1,000 Justice Points at no cost. It was a move that would pay off immensely.
Now, armed with the Naruto franchise as his creation, he had access to a treasure trove of ideas and inspiration, a tool that could shape not only his future but the very world around him.
The first volume has already been published. When he had published it he had originally thought it would immediately cause a sensation through out the world but it was eerily quiet, at that point he had almost given up hope.
It wasn't until three days later that people began to take notice of this. And since then the attention seemed to multiple by ten each day. It wouldn't be long before he starts receiving royalties. Physical copies would be made and contracts would come flying here and their.
In addition he had also gained some reputation points over the days. System he called summoning the interface.

He nodded in satisfaction at the thousand points he had accumulated over the past few days, though they still didn't amount to much. At best, they could only purchase D-rank or C-rank jutsus. Deciding to save them for now, he shifted his focus to the gacha spin.
Unlike a random collection of rewards, the gacha exclusively contained items related to the Ninja World, which made it more focused and potentially rewarding. However, over the past few days, only mediocre jutsus and skills had shown up, leaving him frustrated.
Every 24 hours, the items on the gacha spin partially changed. For eight days, he had been waiting for something worthwhile to appear, silently hoping for better options each time.
With a quiet prayer, he clicked on the gacha button. A spinning wheel appeared on the screen, showcasing ten potential rewards:
Shadow Clone Jutsu
Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique
Summoning Contract: Ninja Hounds
Explosive Tag ×5
Genjutsu: Demonic Illusion – Hell Viewing Technique
Storage Scroll ×1
Kunai ×5
Earth Release: Rock Pillar Spears
Chakra Blade & Mana Blade
Shuriken ×10
Orchid's lips curved into a smile as he studied the options. Most of them could enhance his combat versatility, but a few stood out more than the others. The Shadow Clone Jutsu, Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique, Earth Release, and Fireball Technique were particularly tempting. Even the Mana Blade felt like a promising addition to his arsenal.
With anticipation coursing through him, he clicked the spin button, a silent prayer lingering in his thoughts.
The wheel accelerated rapidly, transforming into a blur of colors. Seconds later, it began to slow, each click echoing louder in his ears. Click... click... click. Finally, it came to a stop: [Mana Blade].
"Better than nothing," he muttered with a sigh, disappointment flickering in his voice. He had hoped for the Shadow Clone Technique. With his Sage Body granting him an absurd reserve of magic energy and physical strength, combined with the passive mental enhancements of the Sharingan, the Shadow Clone would have been a game-changer. A cheat in his grasp.
Still, it was a gacha. He couldn't complain too much. Besides, he could always purchase it from the Ninja Store for 7,500 reputation points. Checking the store, he noticed with surprise that the Mana Blade was even more expensive than the Shadow Clone Jutsu—though only by a small margin.
Curiosity sparked, and he summoned the Mana Blade from his inventory. In an instant, the weapon materialized in his hands. Its blade gleamed, about 100 cm long, with razor-sharp edges. The black handle had a wooden texture that felt both smooth and firm in his grip.
He gave it a tentative swing. The blade felt impossibly light, almost like holding a small knife, and the air seemed to part along its edge, producing a faint whistle.
Without thinking, he turned to the table in front of him and swung. The blade cut through effortlessly, slicing it cleanly in half as though it were butter. Smooth edges marked where the table had stood, and this was without even channeling Mana into the weapon.
A grin spread across his face. "Maybe this isn't so bad after all."
But right now, something was bugging him—an intense urge to test his strength. The desire to punch, smash, or break anything in sight was becoming harder to suppress, and he couldn't help but wonder if anything could withstand his power.
Still, he restrained himself. He needed a controlled environment, not a chaotic outburst. Drawing unnecessary attention wasn't an option, especially with the chaos constantly brewing in the Marvel Universe. His powers were a double-edged sword: they could accomplish incredible feats but could just as easily draw the attention of entities he wasn't ready to face.
Orchid knew stealth and discretion were vital. If organizations like SHIELD or HYDRA caught wind of his abilities, they'd hunt him relentlessly. He could fight back if it came to that—he wasn't afraid of going berserk—but that was a last resort. Deep down, he never understood why Bruce Banner tolerated General Ross's persecution.
"If it were me," he mused, "I wouldn't hesitate to let the Hulk out."
But he wasn't Bruce who was already branded a fugitive, and staying under the radar was his priority. He'd have to suppress his impulses for now. At least until Tony Stark's kidnapping, when the world would shift, and he could afford to make calculated moves.
For the moment, his focus needed to remain on mastering Taijutsu and continuing his Naruto novel and manga. The latter was the easy part; he already had all the material at hand. Taijutsu, however, was a different challenge entirely.
He needed a sparring partner to accelerate his progress, but who on Earth would willingly agree to train with him? At this stage, all he could rely on was the Shadow Clone Jutsu.
"I just have to wait and hope it doesn't get replaced on the gacha wheel," he muttered. "Or maybe I'll just save up and buy it."
