Marvel: Starting As Hokage

Chapter 5: Chapter 5 - Well-known (fifth)

Konoha Hidden Village? Four generations of Naruto?

What are these?

Why, I have lived for so long, and never heard of them?

Nick Fury was deeply puzzled. What kind of village is this Konoha Hidden Village? And why is this "Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze" so powerful?

Nick Fury had gathered information about the Hulk before coming. In his mind, Hulk was a strong candidate for the Avengers, even more so than Iron Man. But now, this person before him, the "Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze," had defeated the Hulk and even killed Abomination with ease.

This was not just shocking—it was beyond his expectations.

What shocked Nick Fury even more was that this "Minato Namikaze" was not only fast, but he could also produce fire!

The huge fireball radiated intense heat, and the shockwave from the explosion sent the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents backing up.

Ethan, with Bruce Banner in tow, quickly disappeared from the scene.

The abomination's corpse burned.

"Fight the fire! Fight the fire!"

But it was already too late.

The fire had already consumed the body before anyone could stop it.

Looking up, Ethan and Banner had already vanished, and Nick Fury felt a sense of frustration creeping in for the first time.

But soon, he regained his composure. "Wake up General Ross and them, and deal with the aftermath!"

Click, click, click.

People had already started taking pictures around them, and Nick Fury was too late to stop them.

In this age of the internet, where everything was shared instantly, the entire battle—Ethan's defeat of Abomination and Hulk—was uploaded online that very night. The video quickly went viral.

The names "Konoha Hidden Village" and "Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze" were now famous. Netizens immediately began guessing where this Konoha Hidden Village could be, and what "Hokage" meant.

Some assumed that the village must be located in Japan, and the Hokage was likely its leader. If the villagers were as strong as this "Minato Namikaze," then Konoha must be a place of immense power.

The video spread so rapidly that even the United Nations and S.H.I.E.L.D. were soon demanding answers from Japan about the location of this hidden village.

Naturally, the Japanese government had no answers. They hadn't even known about Konoha, and they couldn't possibly tell the world where it was.

Seeing that they couldn't get any information from Japan, the world accepted the idea that Konoha could be anywhere—or nowhere at all.

Ethan, however, was unaware of the growing chaos. At this moment, Bruce Banner had slowly regained consciousness.

The Hulk had endured so much punishment, yet here Banner was, still alive.

After waking up, Ethan set him down, still maintaining the form of Minato Namikaze. It seemed that as long as Ethan didn't lift the transformation, he would remain in this form.

"You defeated Hulk?" Bruce Banner asked, his voice filled with a mix of disbelief and understanding. Though Banner's memories of the Hulk were fragmented, he could recall glimpses of what had happened during the battle.

Ethan nodded. There was no need to hide the truth.

"Yes. Now that you're awake, I'll be on my way."

Ethan had always thought of Banner as a good person, so he had no ill will toward him. But Banner stopped him, a look of pleading in his eyes.

"Minato Namikaze, right? Can I follow you?" Banner asked.

Ethan frowned. "Why?"

"I want your help. You can control the Hulk. I don't want to hurt anyone when I transform."

Banner's voice was sincere. It was clear that he genuinely didn't want to cause harm.

Ethan remained silent, deep in thought.

At that moment, his mind began to explore his "system." After focusing on the battle and Banner's request, he finally had time to reflect on his new abilities.

[Host: Ethan]

[Currently acting character: the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze]

[Current play progress: 25%]

[Owned Character: Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze]

[Times Played as the Character: 0]

Ethan's eyes widened. The progress had increased from 15% to 25%—after everything that had happened, it seemed his performance had been evaluated by the system. It appeared that his actions in defeating Abomination, Hulk, and General Ross were key to advancing his progress.

"The more I complete tasks as Minato Namikaze, the more I can increase my strength!" Ethan thought to himself.

Now that he understood how the system worked, he realized he could help Banner while also completing more tasks to increase his own abilities.

"I can help you," Ethan said, looking at Banner with a calm expression. "But in return, I'll need you to help me with certain tasks. As a Hokage, my duties extend beyond just fighting."

Banner nodded, clearly relieved.

Ethan had made up his mind. He had a new direction—helping Banner and completing tasks as Minato Namikaze was his way forward.
