"If you think this is magic, then let it be magic."

George smiled and pointed at the four cups, casting a Transfiguration Charm. Immediately, the four cups of mineral water transformed into four cups of coffee, which then floated over to the three of them.

"Let's go with coffee, then," one of them said, picking up the cup.

The three of them sniffed the coffee, confirming that it was real coffee, and couldn't help but study George more closely.

Magic tricks can sometimes involve turning water into a drink, but the trick behind those illusions is simple—either the cup is rigged, or chemicals are added to the water to make it resemble a beverage.

However, the cups in front of them were plain paper cups, with no obvious alterations, and the coffee tasted rich and genuine—there were no artificial chemicals involved.

So, they began to look for any hidden special devices George might be using.

After a thorough inspection, though, they dismissed the possibility.

George was wearing minimal clothing, and there was no place on his body where such devices could be hidden.

"Let me tell you about our school," George said. "The Supernatural Academy, as the name suggests, is a school for individuals with supernatural abilities. We accept students and teachers who possess these powers."

He took a sip of his coffee before continuing.

"And Bruce Banner, you fit the criteria for our teaching staff perfectly, which is why I've come here today."

He didn't mention mutants by name. The term had been completely erased from the school's official language since its establishment.

Since the government had downplayed the existence of mutants, and most people considered mutants to be fictional comic book characters, George saw no reason to bring it up again and stir up conflict with ordinary humans.

So, from now on, both students and teachers at the school would be referred to as individuals with superpowers. After all, anyone with superhuman abilities, regardless of whether they were acquired naturally or artificially, was still human.

"Superpowers?"

The three of them exchanged confused glances.

"Mr. George, regardless of whether or not you're telling the truth, I'm not some kind of superpowered person. I just had an accident because of a biological experiment," Banner said.

"What does Mr. Banner consider to be superpowers?" George asked calmly.

Banner thought for a moment and replied, "It would probably be abilities like controlling fire, ice, magnetism, or telekinesis, like the mutants in comics."

"No, we consider superpowers to be any ability that goes beyond the normal human limits. It's not just about controlling fire or ice. Strength, loud voices, or even the ability to transform into the Hulk—those are all superpowers. It doesn't matter if the ability is acquired naturally or through an experiment. The ability you have to transform into the Hulk is a perfect example of a superpower, one gained through an experiment.

So, it definitely fits the criteria for us to recruit you as a teacher."

George explained the school's definition of superpowers.

However, Banner waved his hand dismissively.

"Sorry, even if everything you said is true, I'm not interested in joining your school as a teacher. I can eliminate the green gene from my body and return to normal. Once that happens, General Ross and S.H.I.E.L.D. won't bother me anymore. I'll be able to live a normal life with Betty at Calvo University."

He believed that once he injected Dr. Stern's serum and restored himself to normal, he wouldn't have to worry about the military or S.H.I.E.L.D. again. He could start fresh with Betty.

"That's no problem," George replied. "Our school never forces anyone to join. If you're not interested, then it seems this is where our paths diverge."

George didn't try to persuade him. He simply smiled, then cast a Disapparation spell, disappearing on the spot.

Seeing George vanish in an instant, Banner and the others jumped in surprise.

At that moment, they began to believe, if only faintly, that the Supernatural Academy George mentioned might actually exist.

After all, as top-level scientists, they knew that the technology for instant teleportation was far beyond the reach of current scientific capabilities.

Hovering invisibly above the laboratory building, George didn't leave.

A forced outcome is never sweet. Rather than wasting words trying to persuade Banner, and possibly failing, it was better to wait until Banner voluntarily joined.

At the moment, Banner still clung to the hope that if he could become an ordinary person again, he could return to a normal life.

However, once he realized that even after injecting the serum, he would still transform into the Hulk, or that if he didn't transform, he would be captured by Ross for experimentation, he would understand that joining the Supernatural Academy was his only option.

This realization would come quickly. All George had to do now was quietly wait and watch.

As the day faded, Stern, Banner, and Betty finished their discussion and entered the laboratory they had prepared, beginning the experiment to eliminate the green gene.

Floating outside the window, George observed as Banner was strapped to the examination table, injected with the serum, transformed into the Hulk, and then comforted by Betty. Finally, a second serum was injected, and Banner reverted to his normal human form.

"Finally!" George muttered to himself.

At the same time, he saw a large number of military forces flooding into the school. All the students and teachers outside the laboratory were quickly evacuated, and snipers armed with tranquilizer guns surrounded the rooftops.

The three people inside the laboratory remained oblivious to what was happening outside, caught up in an argument.

It turned out that after receiving a blood sample from Banner, Dr. Stern had performed numerous replications, hoping to use the powerful green gene to create a universal medicine capable of curing all diseases and winning the Nobel Prize, thus gaining fame and fortune.

Banner, however, strongly disagreed with Stern's actions.

Because Banner understood the terrifying nature of the green gene better than anyone, he knew that Stern wasn't creating a universal cure but rather a monstrous formula that could give rise to countless terrifying creatures.

At that point, Stern's serum would inevitably be used by General Ross, plunging the entire world into war.

Banner knew his own country all too well. Over the years, he had fled from one country to another, not wanting his genetic material to be used by the military to create an army of monsters for war.

While the two of them were locked in a heated argument, a long-range tranquilizer dart shot through the window and struck Banner squarely in the back.

Banner's body immediately stiffened, and he collapsed to the ground.

At that moment, Emil Blonsky kicked open the laboratory door and stormed in. He shoved Betty aside, grabbed Banner by the neck, and attempted to provoke the Hulk into a duel by repeatedly shaking him.

When he realized that the Hulk didn't emerge, he let out an enraged scream.

Back at Calvo University, the Hulk had thoroughly beaten him, and now, having injected an incomplete version of the Super Soldier Serum, Blonsky's strength had dramatically increased. He was eager for revenge, but the Hulk had disappeared. This setback greatly frustrated him, especially given his pride.

Soon, a large group of soldiers entered and restrained Banner, taking him away. Meanwhile, a disgruntled Blonsky, after making sure no one was watching, forced Dr. Stern to inject him with a copy of the Hulk's blood.

Throughout the entire event, George watched without intervening.
