Chapter 10: A harsh revelation
In the morning, Henry wakes up around 10:00 am, and goes for breakfast, and finds Puppet hugging SpringBonnie, both sleeping against one of the walls of the living room.
Henry then notices something unusual on SpringBonnie's arms and legs. Henry moves slowly closer, not wanting to wake any of both up, and then leans slightly forward, checking SpringBonnie's legs, and sees both legs are in perfect state. Henry then checks SpringBonnie's right arm, and the same situation. The damages SpringBonnie had, seems to be gone, as some sort of healing. Henry wonders how or why SpringBonnie doesn't have the damages he had in the night, but takes it as in the night, while he was sleeping, SpringBonnie must have wandered, found lost pieces somewhere, and replaced the damaged parts with new ones.
Henry didn't want to know, it was an entire world of mental struggle, and was better if he unknowns what SpringBonnie did. And so, he went to the kitchen for his breakfast.
11:28 am
As Henry finished his breakfast, slowly, Puppet started to float, and flied towards the kitchen, finding Henry, who doesn't notice Puppet yet. Puppet sees how Henry is cleaning the dishes, what makes her remember when she was alive, she used to see him clean the dishes after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Minutes later, Puppet still stares at Henry, lost in her memories, the same ones she tried to let aside, for her new goal as her new self as Puppet, the marionette. Henry turns around after placing the dishes he just cleaned, and sees Puppet staring at him, what at first surprises him, to then make shim as something may be going on.
Henry walks to Puppet, getting closer, but Puppet doesn't react or move, she is deeply in her thought and memories, remembering when she was alive, and living with Henry. Suddenly, Henry places his left hand on her right shoulder, what makes her get back to reality and look at Henry's hand and him.
Henry's mind: "I have to try this. If I'm right... I'm sorry... I just hope I'm wrong... And was just a... Causality..."
Henry: "Ch.. Charlie?"
Puppet looks at Henry's face from looking at his hand over her shoulder, and remains staring at him. Despite she as Charlie answered with "Yes?", Puppet is unable to talk or communicate, as doesn't have any voice device.
After a little stare, that Puppet with ease noticed how Henry was deep into what he said, and hoping for being wrong, as his expression of sadness is hardly hidden. Puppet simply nods. Puppet rises her left hand, to place in on Henry's right cheek, but stops in the middle of doing so, as despite being her father, she had to let that in the past, as same as Henry had to move on.
Charlie was a new version of herself, and she didn't wanted to go back, while Henry refused to let go of that loss, when she died.
As obvious, Henry knew the answer, and let his emotions get the best of him in the moment, what with coldness, Puppet decided to move back, flying back, and leaving the kitchen.
Henry remains alone in the kitchen, heartbroken seeing he was right, but also left behind for who was his daughter.
Puppet flied out of the kitchen, and going through the living room directly to SpringBonnie, who was still turned off, sitting down against the wall.
As Henry remained trying to compose himself, and finding the pieces to put himself together again, the piece he needs is the one he lost years ago... The found piece he just found, but doesn't seems to fit anymore; Puppet grabbed SpringBonnie's head, slowly waking him up, and turning him on.
Slowly, SpringBonnie's eyes start to flash white sparks, that then alternate color between green and blue. Few seconds later, the pupils still flash, but the pupils move up, looking at Puppet, before the pupil colors is set to green, and remaining normal.
Henry with high emotional effort, tries to follow Puppet, finding her be almost up of SpringBonnie, what makes him assume that Charlie may have rejected him, as has someone else that she could ever need.
SpringBonnie slowly got up, what made Puppet fly back. Once SpringBonnie got up, noticed Henry in the middle of the kitchen and the living room, so slowly started walking, letting behind Puppet, and approaching Henry.
SpringBonnie stopped in front of Henry, and stared at him. Both in front of each other, staring at each other.
For a short moment, both remained like that, until Henry spoke.
Henry: "I... I guess she prefers you... Take well care of her..."
SpringBonnie slightly leaned his head aside, to the left, wondering what Henry was talking about.
SpringBonnie (Raziel): "... What?... I don't.. Get it?..."
Henry: "W-well... Don't worry then, friend. Something you should not worry about."
SpringBonnie hesitated for a moment, observing Henry, obviously knowing he was hiding something, and saw clearly his aptitude before starting the interaction.
SpringBonnie (Raziel): "Are you.. Alright, Mr. Emily?"
Henry: "Y-yeah, don't worry, friend. Also, there's no need to be formal, just call me Henry, it's alright."
SpringBonnie (Raziel): "Right... Sorry, I.. Forgot... It's just what got out of me."
Henry: "Well, it's fine. Want breakfast? For sure after last night, you may be hungry."
Henry went back to the kitchen, followed by SpringBonnie. Their type of relation is unknown to be mentioned with exactitude, as Henry takes SpringBonnie as that piece to fix and fulfill himself, using SpringBonnie as replacement of Charlie; while SpringBonnie in other hand, takes formal their type of relation, even maybe with slight of friendship, but mostly, as still as his superior, as is still who hired him in the first place as nightguard, and he stills has set in his mind, the relation of worker and boss with Henry.
