Mech: Shattering of the Galaxy

Chapter 31: Chapter 31: Who hit?

```
He opened the two metal doors, forty minutes ago he was fine, and forty minutes later he walked out covered in wounds.
Whew, dragging his steps, Mu Fan got a glass of water from the water cooler and sat on the practice chair to rest. After receiving his pay later, he could go home and sleep well. Today he had his first contact with a mecha, although it was virtual, Mu Fan felt it couldn't have been more real. Novelty, excitement, unforgettable; that was the summary of the day.
"Whew," the fat man sitting on the sofa suddenly exhaled, pressing the release button before taking off his helmet.
"Why did you log off first? Didn't you say we should stay in touch?" the fat man complained with a face full of dissatisfaction. "We lost again, ah ah ah ah! It's impossible without you, expert! Was it really your first time playing on the PO Battle Net? Come, tell me about your awesome stories, that last round of combat is unforgettable for me."
The fat man got up, poured himself a glass of water, and sat opposite Mu Fan, asking with an excited look.
There were too many matters involved; Mu Fan was a bit troubled.
So, he frowned, organized his language, and spoke: "I chanced upon that match, then came out for a stroll, but I'm unfamiliar with the surroundings, only knowing the training camp, so I decided to log off, and practiced ahead of time."
Only then did the fat man notice Mu Fan was drenched in sweat, feeling admiration in his heart.
Mu Fan thought for a moment and added, "The PO Battle Net is indeed amazing. However, to be responsible for you, I think we still need to allocate half of our time for real combat training in the future. You attack, I'll defend."
The fat man made a noise.
"Beep beep, Sky Communication incoming call from: Uncle Wu." The Sky Communication beside him suddenly lit up.
"Uncle Wu is calling me, well, let's stop here for today. I'm going out for a meal, see you in the afternoon!!! Train again in the afternoon. I'll go first, Mu Fan!" The fat man saw it was almost time, lunchtime at last!! How wonderful!! He immediately widened his eyes and hurriedly said to Mu Fan, grabbed his clothes and ran off in a flash.
Almost time to eat, Mu Fan squinted his eyes, ignored the fat man's runaway act upon hearing those words.
Be active when eating! Mu Fan acted as he thought, immediately exchanged shoes and went downstairs. So hungry, it was time to eat.
When Mu Fan walked out of the floating stairs, he suddenly felt the atmosphere in the hall seemed somewhat off.
There were quite a few trainees in the hall today, the ordinary teaching area, the coaches demonstrating fighting diligently, nothing changed there. But looking towards the area where he practiced yesterday, namely the frequently gathered trainer number 5 training field, there were still many people there, but their faces didn't show the impatience for meals, appearing absent-minded.
Something happened?
Mu Fan speculated in his heart, keeping a blank expression, walked over.
"Sigh, our industry really is..."
"Who says it isn't? We've seen a lot, only didn't expect he would fall too this time."
"He's an old hand at the Martial Arts Hall; he shouldn't be so heartless, right."
...
As Mu Fan walked, his keen hearing caught snippets of whispered conversations.
It seemed something indeed happened at the Martial Arts Hall, just wasn't sure to whom? It should be someone they know, otherwise, people wouldn't be like this.
"Big Stomach King!"
Mu Fan also became famous yesterday but in the eating world, as a result, this nickname came about today. He heard it but hadn't realized they were referring to himself.
He feigned ignorance.
"Big Stomach King is here, wonder what he'll think when he learns the news, given there's a connection."
Mu Fan's ears perked up, were they talking about him as the Big Stomach King? How did things relate to him?
"Look at his back!"
"Was this beaten up by the client using a weapon? How did it get like this, heavens!"
After Mu Fan walked past these people, someone with sharp eyes suddenly noticed Mu Fan's back.
The training clothes, due to Mu Fan sweating profusely in the gravity room earlier, were clinging tightly to his body. Almost being hit all over the back by rubber bullets under the gravity training room's level 40, they looked blood-stained, the back of the training clothes was nearly shredded.
Mu Fan continued to walk, his face expressionless, his tall frame didn't falter, his steps firm and powerful.
More and more people saw, this guy had just come on the second day and looked beaten like this.
"What a pity, Mankun and this kid are both unlucky, but Mankun is worse. Sigh, don't know if the Martial Arts Hall will still want him."
Mu Fan's figure suddenly halted, his eyes sharp, turning his head.
"Who else did you say?" His wolf-like eyes fixed on the person who spoke.
"What's your attitude? Did I say anything? I didn't say." The person was quite displeased with Mu Fan's tone at this moment; how many at the Martial Arts Hall had good tempers? What was the new kid fussing about?
"Who else did you say?" Mu Fan ignored his words and walked straight over.
"How are you talking to a senior!" That person was extremely displeased; was this the attitude due to a senior at the Martial Arts Hall? Mankun couldn't protect him and he was still so arrogant. This guy had been working at the Hall for over three months, being a seasoned player, especially cautious about protecting himself when sparring. Seeing Mu Fan, newly arrived just two days ago, using this tone, he felt burning with embarrassment under the gaze of his colleagues.
Mu Fan wasn't talking, he walked straight over, eyes cold.
"You've been beaten like this, yet still worrying about others, ridiculous." That person continued to mock this seemingly beaten down and unfortunate newcomer sparring trainer, asserting his presence with his buddies.
"You...uh! Uh!! ~ Uh, let go, let go!" The person didn't expect Mu Fan to walk over directly without a word and grab his collar as if a throat-choked rooster, constantly making noise, his face flushed red!
He subconsciously put his hand on it with force, trying to pry the abominable kid's hand away.
But when his palm grabbed Mu Fan's wrist, he realized the seemingly lean guy's arm was actually like fine steel! He couldn't feel any dented muscle from squeezing, the arm with clear and streamlined muscle lines, each piece felt as if cast with bronze and iron!
"I asked you, who else?" Mu Fan lifted the collar with his right arm, "Uh uh uh," actually lifting the person off the ground, hanging in mid-air.
His arm extended straight!!
Body still as a statue!!
The one in his hand, face red as a beet, making hoarse sounds, hitting on Mu Fan's arm to no avail.
This was an 8th-degree physique trainer, yet in his hands became like a chick to be slaughtered.
Those around were stupefied, this newcomer, always like a rabbit, thought to be a large herbivore with a big appetite, but seemed completely like a humanoid T-Rex! Lifting this guy in such a strong and violent manner before numerous colleagues and trainees.
"Answer me!" Mu Fan's eyes were fierce and sharp, no trace of the previous friendliness.
The fist in his hand slowly clenched, making the person's eyes start to roll white.
"I...I'll say...I'll say..." Came the struggling response.
"Bang!" Mu Fan threw him down, looking at the coughing person on the floor with indifferent eyes.
The blood seal on his back showed through the training clothes, a complete mess!
But no one present dared to mock, no one spoke again, the scene turned silent, all focus was on the sparring trainer being looked down by Mu Fan.
"Also... also Mankun." The person gasped and answered immediately; fearing an unsatisfied Mu Fan would lift him again, he couldn't stay at the Martial Arts Hall any longer, needed to change places, too embarrassing.
"What happened to him?" Mu Fan's wolf-like eyes fixed on the person before him. Mankun was the first person to greet him at the Martial Arts Hall. Although it was only two days, he could tell who was good and who was bad.
"Got... got crippled, a leg broken, just sent out for treatment." The surrounding people also showed a look of sympathy, Mankun today accompanied a VIP client in practice, unexpectedly this VIP showed no restraint when dealing with Mankun, regardless of him being a grassroots management personnel; going all out and finished him with a few moves. The Martial Arts Hall had already sent people to take Mankun for treatment.
"Who did it?" Mu Fan's eyes turned calm and indifferent, his right fist suddenly let out a snapping sound.
The person sitting on the ground trembled.
"Young Master Wen."
